Julianne Moore and her husband, Bart Freundlich, left the pleasantries aside for their 17th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
“I said he should take a shower,” the 59-year-old captioned a photo of her and Freundlich, 50, hugging while barefoot and wearing casual white T-shirts. “He said my hair smelled bad, like mildew, or an old box. Happy 17th Wedding anniversary @freundlich96 – there is no one I’d rather be with everyday. I love you.”
In the comments, Moore’s celebrity pals, including Rita Wilson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chelsea Handler and Courteney Cox, wished the couple a “happy anniversary.”
Actress Jessica Capshaw wrote, “Literally the definition of goals…you two will always be as perfect a pair as I could possibly imagine.”
Moore and Freundlich wed in 2003. They share two children: 22-year-old Caleb and 18-year-old Liv.
“We’re really lucky because of what we do; our lives are so, so flexible,” she told Harper’s Bazaar of being married to the director in 2008. “We have a very solid family life and it is the most satisfying thing I have ever done.”
Moore’s marriage to Freundlich was the “Still Alice” star’s second. She was previously married to actor John Gould Rubin from 1986 to 1995.
