Britney Spears debuted new bangs on Instagram Monday. “I did it I finally cut bangs!!!!!!” she wrote.
The singer, 38, officially cut her hair one month after contemplating the switch-up.
“Who would have thought bangs could make you look waaaaay younger ?!?! I stopped having bangs in the 3rd grade and I remember like it was yesterday,” Spears wrote in May. “It was such a big deal to expose my forehead … only pretty people in the south could do that and I never felt pretty enough to pull it off.”

She added that pulling hair in front of her face makes her feel “protected.” But when the singer finally took the plunge and posted a bikini photo to show it off, fans immediately praised the star.
“Cute!!!” Vanessa Hudgens commented. “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe commented, “Gorg.”
