Katy Perry’s latest maternity look is out of this world.
The pregnant pop star, 35, donned a sparkling silver ensemble on Instagram in honor of SpaceX’s upcoming rocket launch, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday but postponed until the weekend due to bad weather.
Always one to dress on theme, Perry cradled her baby bump in a plissé-lamé midi dress by Balenciaga ($4,400), along with matching metallic heels ($864) and statement earrings ($495) from the same luxury label.
On Saturday, the “Daisies” hitmaker will host a pre-game segment on Discovery and the Science Channel before the historic launch, which will mark SpaceX’s first crewed mission and the first time astronauts have launched into space from US soil since 2011.
“What’s two days when @spacex has been waiting for 18 years,” Perry wrote in her caption. “Let’s pray it’s in the cards for Saturday!”
We can’t wait to see what she wears this weekend.

Katy Perry’s style has always been whimsical — and she’s not toning it down while pregnant. Back in March, the “American Idol” judge, 35, announced that she is expecting her first child, a girl, with fiancé Orlando Bloom after weeks spent covering her stomach with voluminous dresses and strategically placed purses.
Since then, she’s shown off her bump in everything from neon frocks to a giant hand sanitizer costume. See all of her best maternity looks here.
