The NBA is set to take an important step towards resuming its season.

Teams expect the league office to set guidelines, around June 1, that will allow them to recall players who currently live out of market, according to ESPN.

Numerous owners, executives and players believe commissioner Adam Silver will soon after announce that games could then return by the end of July.

As part of the NBA’s plan to return to action, players being recalled from other cities and countries would be quarantined. That would be followed by up to two weeks of individual workouts at team facilities and then a training camp with the full roster, which would last up to three weeks, according to the report.

While Las Vegas is still being considered as one site to host games, Orlando’s Disney Resort has emerged as the frontrunner, according to The Athletic. The NBA and the players union still are discussing the terms of a return, including whether all teams would come back to finish the regular season, as well as a potential play-in tournament, according to ESPN.
