The former Bachelor Nation host, 50, and the Entertainment Tonight personality, 33, announced the news via Instagram on Monday, October 25. “I love you @laurenzima,” the Perfect Letter author wrote alongside a photo of himself getting down on one knee. “The next chapter starts now!”

In another photo, the happy couple clinked champagne glasses while Zima showed off her new ring. “We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this,” she wrote via Instagram. “You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest.”

The duo began dating in August 2018 after crossing paths professionally several times. In January 2019, they made their relationship red carpet official at a pre-Screen Actors Guild awards party.

The couple fueled marriage speculation in April when Harrison posted a photo that showed Zima wearing a wedding-esque white dress to Instagram.

“‘I’d stop the world and melt with you’ @laurenzima there’s no one I’d rather celebrate love with and I’ll be your plus one anytime,” the Texas native wrote alongside the romantic snapshot.

Fans and Bachelor Nation members alike were confused by the post and offered their congratulations to the couple before Zima clarified she was wearing a bridesmaid’s dress.

Zima revealed during a July 2019 episode of Nick Viall‘s “The Viall Files” podcast that she made the first move on her now-husband. The duo had known each other for years prior to dating.

“Oh, I DM’d him,” she confessed. “He just gave me a different vibe. … It was fairly overt. He mentioned something about picking his kids up or something. He somehow brought up being single, I think. Prior to welcoming their baby girl, Pataky accompanied her husband on the red carpet for The Avengers’ U.K. premiere, where he sweetly rubbed her baby bump.

The British musician, 33, told her version of the story behind the track in a Thursday, August 5, Glamour interview.

“’Bang Bang’ was a song that already existed. I didn’t write ‘Bang Bang.’ Max Martin wrote ‘Bang Bang,’ and [Ariana Grande] had been played it, I’d been played it, and we both loved it. We just said, ‘Why don’t we both do it?’ So Ariana stayed on the second verse, I recorded the first verse, and then Nicki was played it in the studio and was like, ‘I’ve got to jump on this,’” Jessie J noted. “We didn’t go to her and ask; she wanted to do it.”

However, Minaj’s recollection is different from the “Price Tag” singer’s story.

“Babe @JessieJ I didn’t hear the song & ask 2get on it. The label asked me2get on it & paid me. How would I have heard the song?” the “Super Bass” rapper, 38, wrote via Twitter on Thursday. “Chiiille what am I the damn song monitor? Snoopin around for songs chile? This was said by another artist recently as well. Yallgotta stop LoveU [SIC].”

After a fan replied to Minaj that he believed her story, the Grammy nominee noted that she’s still a fan of Jessie J as an artist. In a separate tweet, the “Tusa” rapper added that she would’ve loved to be featured on the U.K. native’s song “Do It Like a Dude,” which was released in 2011.

“The worst part about this is no1EVER asked me2get on ‘like a dude’ & I have been obsessed w|that song since the min I heard it,” the Trinidad native wrote. “I was doing promo in the UK & heard it on the radio. Case closed. Vanessa Bryant settled a lawsuit filed against her by her mother, Sofia Laine, Us Weekly can confirm. While the terms of the settlement are private, the case is over.

According to court documents obtained by Us in December 2020, Laine claimed that she worked as an unpaid “longtime personal assistant and nanny” for her daughter’s family and that the late Kobe Bryant “promised to take care of” her “for the rest of her life.”

The papers alleged that “Kobe Bryant’s promises did not see the light of day as he is now deceased, and Vanessa Bryant took each and every step she could to void and cancel all of Kobe Bryant’s promises made to [Laine]. Vanessa Bryant did not intend to honor any of the Bryants’ representations, agreements and promises at any stage.”

In a statement to Us at the time, Vanessa, 39, claimed that the late NBA star “never promised [her] mother anything” and denied that her mother was ever a personal assistant or nanny for her family.

“[She’s] continuing to try and find ways to extort a financial windfall from our family,” she added. “She was a grandmother who was supported by me and her son-in-law at my request. … She now wants to back-charge me $96 per hour for supposedly working 12 hours a day for 18 years for watching her grandchildren. In reality, she only occasionally babysat my older girls when they were toddlers. As of 10 years ago, our kids were full-time students and athletes and I didn’t have another child until 2016. Her claims are obviously false but I still tried, repeatedly, to work things out with my mother.”

Kobe died tragically in a January 2020 helicopter accident at age 41. The crash also killed the pair’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, as well as seven others.

On the one-year anniversary of the accident, Vanessa shared a tribute to her loved ones. She and Kobe wed in April 2001 and also shared daughters Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4, and Capri, 2.

“I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real,” Vanessa wrote in January. “Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you! #PlayGigisWay #Mambacita #Mamba #DaddysGirl #GirlDad.”

The California native also opened up about her love for her husband and daughter on what would have been Kobe’s 42nd birthday in August 2020.

“I think about your tenderness and patience all the time. I think about everything you would do in situations to help me deal with everything thrown my way,” she wrote. I wish I could wake up from this horrible nightmare. I wish I could surprise our girls and welcome you and Gigi home to us. … I’m mad I didn’t go first. I always wanted to go first so that I selfishly didn’t have to feel this heartache. You were supposed to miss me. Gigi was supposed to be here with her sisters. It should’ve been me.”

Later, Kardashian shared a photo of the “Bound 2” rapper suspended from the ceiling at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium via Twitter. “#DONDA,” she wrote.

West’s 10th album was originally set for release last month. While the date was pushed back to Friday, August 6, it still didn’t drop. Nevertheless, event attendees were able to pick up some of the record’s most telling lyrics about the beauty mogul.

On one track, the Chicago native discussed the pair’s home in Hidden Hills, California.

“Sixty million dollar home, never went home to it,” he said, later adding, “Ask Kim, What do you love?/Hard to find what the truth is.”

In another, he repeated the phrase “I’m losing my family” — a lyric that fans were quick to discuss after his July 18 listening party.

Us Weekly confirmed in February that the reality star had filed for divorce from the Grammy winner after almost a decade together. The news came one month after Us confirmed Kardashian and West, 43, were in settlement talks. The pair share four children: North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

During the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June, the California native opened up about the split — and what ultimately went wrong in their marriage.

In Us Weekly’s exclusive excerpt from his new book, The Queen, Dennison recalled the days that followed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s announcement they were stepping back as working members of the royal family in January 2020.

“Elizabeth was hurt and disappointed,” the author wrote, noting that the ruler, 95, made up her mind about the situation quickly, deciding that — based on her grandson’s decision — Meghan, 40, and Harry, 36, would no longer be able to use their “royal highness” titles.

“Elizabeth’s official statement expressed loving finality: ‘It is my whole family’s hope that today’s agreement allows them to start building a happy and peaceful new life.’ It was an attempt to reassert control in the interests of damage limitation, and a decisive but dark beginning to a new decade,” the U.K. native writes in the book, which is set to be released September 1. “Elizabeth had never been a sentimental woman; she had acted in the only way she understood.”

The Behind the Mask author continued: “As throughout a life in which she had consistently honoured her father’s belief that ‘the highest of distinctions is the service of others’, she had placed the monarchy first, safeguarding its mission of service and duty that could never, she was certain, be a part-time calling.”

Following the Suits alum and Harry’s decision, the couple moved to North America with their 2-year-old son, Archie — but the drama didn’t stop. In February, they announced they were making their leave of absence from royal life permanent, a decision that “saddened” the queen, according to a statement from Buckingham Palace.

In her statement, which was posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, August 3, the Step Up actress, 40, clarified that she was discussing postpartum issues when she noted the 41-year-old Magic Mike star’s unavailability — a conversation that was taken out of context.

“[The quotes] make it appear that I was slamming my daughters’ father, something I would never do,” Dewan wrote. “As two working parents, we both faced challenges at the time, but I speak only for myself and not about him. Anyone who actually listens to the interview, something I encourage everyone to do, will clearly see that my words have been distorted for clicks and to push false, salacious gossip with no regard for the actual people involved, or the message intended.”

The Resident actress’ interview was first broadcast on the Monday, August 2, episode of the “Dear Gabby” podcast.

During the episode, Dewan recalled giving birth to Everly, now 8, in London while her then-husband filmed a project. Soon after, the Connecticut native had to travel to Canada with her daughter to film her series Witches of East End.

“Wishing a happy 40th birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!” Prince William and Kate Middleton wrote via Instagram Stories on their @dukeandduchessofsussex account. They paired the sweet caption with a photo of Meghan on the beach and a cake emoji.

The official royal family Instagram account shared well-wishes for the California native as well.

“Wishing the Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday today!” the Instagram Story message read. Three photos of Meghan alongside her husband, Prince Harry, their son, Archie, 2, and Queen Elizabeth II were also shown.

On Twitter, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla posted a shout out as well.

“Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday,” their post — which was paired with a red emoji and picture of Meghan smiling — read.

To ring in her birthday, the former actress shared a video of her own to her Archewell website. The clip showed Meghan and Melissa McCarthy chatting over Zoom. At one point, Harry, 36, showed up in the background juggling.

After Meghan asked Melissa, 50, for help celebrating her birthday, the Bridesmaids actress asked her if she was hoping to do “another photo shoot under a tree” where she looked peaceful.

“Peaceful under a tree is me every day,” the Bench author responded.

After joking about some more ways she might celebrate her birthday (including getting matching tattoos, having afternoon tea with her chickens or hosting a Suits reunion), Meghan opened up about her selfless birthday wish: a new initiative to get women back into the workforce. And that’s exactly what she did, launching 40×40, “a global effort encouraging people around the world to commit to giving 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work,” her rep shared with Us Weekly.

“The Duchess asked 40 activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to participate by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to women reentering the workforce,” the statement continued. “This effort is being spurred in response to the tens of millions of women around the world who have left the workforce in the past two years (largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic), including two million women in the U.S. As women continue to reenter the workforce, we believe that mentorship is one way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength.”

The initiative includes her friends, Adele, Gloria Steinem, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau and Stella McCartney.

Meghan’s milestone birthday comes after a dramatic few years for the philanthropist. In early June, she and Harry welcomed their second child, 2-month-old Lilibet. Their daughter’s birth came just months after they decided to permanently step away from their roles as working members of the royal family in February.

In March, the duo opened up about their decision in a bombshell sit-down interview, upsetting some of Harry’s family members in the process. After Harry conducted another interview on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast in May, a source told Us exclusively that the family was hurt once again.

“The queen is unimpressed with Harry’s latest interview and found it hurtful. It hasn’t done their relationship any favors,” the insider said, noting that Prince Charles and Prince William were “livid too.”

“This is eternal. It’s not just out there in the ether or on a television set you’ve passed by, but in our actual bodies — our DNA, our bloodstream, our cells,” the Morning Show actress, 52, said in her recent InStyle cover story.

“It was a unicorn of an experience,” she added. “For whatever reason, we were all at the right place at the right time, and we created something that landed its little flag on a lot of people’s hearts around the world.”

During the interview, Aniston noted that she can’t imagine a universe where she didn’t play Rachel Green.

“Just one little moment — a last-minute audition [for Friends] that I got at 6 o’clock the night before I had to be there — and boom,” she said.

The Friends reunion, which aired on HBO Max in May, featured all six main cast members (including Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer) on screen together for the first time since the sitcom ended in 2004.

According to the California native, her former costars weren’t able to get together much outside of filming the special. Nevertheless, they’ll make sure to see each other more frequently in the coming years.

“We had endless Zooms. I had a couple of people over [that] Sunday, just with the kids and stuff. Schwimmer stopped by, so I got to meet his amazing little girl,” Aniston noted. “But we really did make a commitment to each other. We were like, ‘That’s the last time we wait that long to see each other.’”

These days, the We’re the Millers actress is involved in another fan-favorite show, The Morning Show. On the Apple TV+ series, Aniston’s character, Alex, decides to leave her high-powered entertainment career in favor of a more private lifestyle — a concept that the Golden Globe award winner had fun sampling herself.

“We all kind of did [explore a private life with the pandemic]. So, yes, I can imagine it, and it would be wonderful for about three months,” she said. “Then you’re like, ‘This is good — I’ve rearranged and cleaned out everything; I’ve read; I’ve meditated. I feel great. Now I’d like to see a person.’”

“This is the first time in my life that I haven’t known exactly what my next step is. Like, what is my one year plan?What’s my three year, what’s my five year [plan], because I just went through a breakup,” the Southern Charm alum, 28, said during the Monday, August 2, episode of Sarah Frick’s “Are You For Real?” podcast.

She continued, “I was supposed to be moving, and now I’m back here. So my plans have changed and I have no idea honestly what I’m doing or when or why. I don’t know right now, but maybe next week I’ll know. Maybe next month I’ll know. I’m just trying to stay true to myself and figure it out.”

During the podcast, Naomie noted that she’s in a “pivotal moment” in her life. She went on to tell listeners that it’s “OK not to know what’s next as long as you’re enjoying yourself and loving the people around you.”

After Frick asked her if she’d had an “are you for real?” moment recently, the former reality star noted that she had indeed — but she wasn’t in the mood to talk about it.

“I mean, yeah. Recently I had one of those, but we don’t have to get into that,” she said.

Last month, the South Carolina native made headlines when rumors swirled that her ex had cheated on her less than one month after they moved to New York City together.

Naomie seemingly confirmed the cheating rumors in a July 12 Instagram Story post.

“Nothing will be worse than losing my dad but this is a close second. Betrayal is never easy for anyone and I’m just so sorry to anyone else that has stumbled across those terrible messages,” she wrote alongside a teary selfie. “I’m absolutely positive I will regret posting this tomorrow but so many of you have reached out saying you’re feeling a similar pain. I’m so so sorry.”

The former pair dated for three years prior to their split. Naomie introduced the doctor, 29, to fans during season 6 of Southern Charm, which was her final run on the show.

After sharing her side of the story last month, the L’Abeye designer vowed to never take Metul back.

“This is incredibly embarrassing and I feel so lost, I just ask that you please stop sending/saying hateful things to Metul,” she wrote in a separate Instagram Story, which she promptly deleted. “I have self respect and I’ll not be getting back together with him, but he is also in a terrible place dealing with the consequences of his actions. … Please don’t be mean, he is human and this situation is punishment enough.”

“I was like, ‘Oh, my God. This week needs to be over,’” Landi told reporters on Tuesday, August 3. “I asked [Simone] what do you need. And she said, ‘I just need some time.’ I said, ‘You call me, text me if you need anything I’ll be here. Whatever that is.’ She called her parents. She said, ‘There’s nothing I can do from over here. So I’m just going to finish my week and when I get home we’ll deal with it.’”

Biles’ Tokyo Olympics experience concluded on Tuesday when she won a bronze medal in the balance beam final. Her win came after she decided to withdraw from the competition midway through her team finals.

Announcing that she was dealing with mental health concerns, the gold medalist went on to withdraw from multiple other events including the individual all-around, vault, uneven bars and floor competitions.

“After that vault, I was like: ‘I’m not in the right headspace, I’m not going to lose a medal for this country and for these girls,’ because they worked way too hard for me to go out there and have them lose a medal,” Biles said during a press conference after announcing she was stepping away from the competition.

According to Landi, the Courage to Soar author had “two sessions” with Team USA’s psychologist before she was cleared to compete once again.

“We’ve had a lot of tears combined because as much as we’re happy for Team USA, in the back, it was a little heartbreaking to know that she could’ve been out there and she could’ve, hopefully, earned some medals as well,” Landi added after the Ohio native competed on the balance beam. “But, she was the best cheerleader. She wanted to be here, she wasn’t forced. That was her own will to be here and she was really proud of [her team].”

Biles announced during a separate press conference on Tuesday that she’d been in close contact with her friends and family throughout her experience.

“I was FaceTiming with my family. They had a little watch party at the house. It was my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister-in-law, my godparents,” she said. “They just wanted to say hi and stuff like that. But given the time change, they’re 14 hours behind so usually at night, I’ll FaceTime them or in the morning. Almost every day I’ve gotten to talk to them which has been nice and reassuring.”

“Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention,” the singer, 30, wrote via Instagram on Monday, August 2. “I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it — but we knew that already.”

The Ohio native, whose real name is Jane Marczewski, revealed her cancer diagnosis while auditioning for the show. While introducing herself in the June episode, she noted that she’d previously been told she has a two percent chance of surviving her illness.

“But 2% is not 0%,” she added. “It’s important that everyone knows I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me.”

After she performed, Simon Cowell called her voice “absolutely stunning” and pressed the golden buzzer to send her right to the next round. Cowell’s awe of her voice and songwriting skills was evident, with the 61-year-old judge struggling to hold back tears as he watched her sing.

In her post on Monday, the “It’s OK” singer opened up about how her reality television journey has impacted her.

“Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding,” she wrote. “What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider.”

She continued, “Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.”

“Drugs were a crutch. It was me thinking that I needed it. And not doing the work to figure out how not to need it,” the singer, 31, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, said in his September 2021 GQ cover story. “And I’ve spent the last few years realizing that and thanking God that I don’t need it. Because for a lot of people, it’s hard to shake it. But I knew I didn’t want it.”

After revealing that he considers himself “sober lite,” the “I Feel It Coming” singer shared that he does still smoke marijuana and “occasionally” enjoys a drink.

“I’m not a heavy drinker, as much as I used to be,” he added. “The romance of drinking isn’t there.”

The Canada native said that he decided to step away from substances because he wants a family someday.

“I know I say I don’t, but I know I do. I want children,” the Grammy winner said. “I guess I say [I don’t want them] because I like the trajectory of my career. But also I feel like having children would influence me and inspire me more.”

The “Save Your Tears” artist was previously involved in a lengthy on-off relationship with Bella Hadid. The former pair split in August 2019 and the supermodel, 24, recently moved on with Marc Kalman.

“Still feel like I’m dreaming the morning after but last night, I said yes 💍,” the Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 40, wrote via Instagram.

In a separate post, her fiancé, 35, offered a close-up picture of Jo’s giant rock. “Jo Peirson has a nice ‘ring’ to it. 😏💍,” he wrote. “I can’t wait to spend forever with you. I love you so much ❤️,” the former Bravolebrity added in the comments section.

The “Signs” singer surprised Jo on Saturday, July 31, with a Hollywood rooftop proposal. Soon after, he shocked her once again with an engagement party attended by friends and loved ones.

“We’re opening up a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” the former reality star said in an Instagram Story video on Sunday following the festivities. “Guys, we’re engaged! … I can’t get over it. I’m still trying to wrap my head.”

Later in the video, Jo appeared to hold back tears while discussing how her beau filmed the proposal and party for her YouTube channel.

Alongside his caption, he shared some adorable photos of pups wearing his work.

Last week, the U.K. native won a gold medal in the men’s 10m platform event. Soon after, he returned to the pool to cheer on his fellow athletes — bringing his knitting needles along.

“There’s Tom Daley — he’s got his knitting needles out,” a BBC commentator noted on Sunday morning during the women’s diving competition. “What do you reckon he’s crafting there? I wonder who he’s making that purple concoction for?”

Online, more people shared their excitement at watching the craftsman at work.

“Oh this? Just Olympic champ @TomDaley1994 knitting in the stands while watching the diving,” the official Olympics Twitter account wrote. A fan added: “Important Tom Daley knitting update: he was making a dog jumper and it is finished.”

In his Instagram Stories, Daley gave a shout-out to the specific dog he knit the purple sweater for: a French bulldog named Izzy.

“I don’t have a dog to show you what it looks like on, but this is the dog jumper I was making,” he said in the video. In a caption, he added: “@Izzythe.frenchie I FINISHED YOUR SWEATER!”

Prior to crafting the popular puppy outfit, the television personality shared that he’d made a pouch for his gold medal.

“Learning to knit and crochet has helped me so much through these Olympics and we won GOLD yesterday 🥇 I made a little medal case too! 🇬🇧🇯🇵 YAY!” he wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, July 27. Daley then showed off his work, which featured a U.K. flag on the front and Japan flag on the back.

In the post’s comments, fans joked that they hoped the athlete had made more pouches for his fellow teammates — and his future prizes.

“I love this! Amazing knitting AND diving,” one social media user wrote. A second chimed in: “I hope you kept the pattern in mind to knit another one really soon !!!”

Daley’s knitting Instagram account is currently set up to raise money for charity with a handmade rainbow sweater raffle. As of Monday, August 2, he’d raised just under $3,000 via the account for The Brain Tumour Charity.
