The Princess of Wales left behind a remarkable legacy after she died in a Paris car crash, which occurred after the vehicle was chased by photographers. William and Harry were 15 and 12 years old, respectively, when their mother died, but they’ve been paying tribute to her ever since.

In 2017, the brothers first commissioned a statue to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her death. Four years later, in July 2021, the brothers reunited at the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace to officially unveil the statue, which was designed by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.

“Today, on what would have been our mother’s 60th birthday, we remember her love, strength and character — qualities that made her a force for good around the world, changing countless lives for the better,” William and Harry said in a joint statement, per the palace. “Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy. Thank you to Ian Rank-Broadley, Pip Morrison and their teams for their outstanding work, to the friends and donors who helped make this happen, and to all those around the world who keep our mother’s memory alive.”

Over the years, the dukes have also vowed to preserve Diana’s legacy through their constant charity work and activism, among other duties.

“We will do everything we can to make sure that she’s never forgotten and carry on all the special gifts, as such, that she had and that she portrayed while she was alive,” Harry said during a March 2016 interview with Good Morning America. “I hope that a lot of my mother’s talents are shown in a lot of the work that I do.”

After William married Duchess Kate and Harry married Meghan Markle, they continued honoring their mother through the lives of their children — especially their daughters.

William and Kate welcomed Princess Charlotte in May 2015 and graced her with Diana as a middle name.

In June 2021, when Harry and Meghan welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, they did the same. At the time of her birth, Diana’s former voice coach Stewart Pearce told Us Weekly exclusively that she would have loved Lili’s name, which is a nod to Queen Elizabeth II.

“Diana would be thrilled at the choice of name for the little one,” he shared.

The series — starring Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, among others — immediately became a fan favorite following its premiere in October 2010. AMC announced in late 2019 that the show would come to an end after its 11th season, which will air in three parts over a two-year period starting on Sunday, August 22. The Walking Dead and The Sexton Single Malt partnership will run through late 2022 as all three parts of the final season air.

“A season-long partnership like this gives us so many meaningful opportunities to interact with and excite fans of The Walking Dead,” Executive Vice President of The Content Room for AMC Networks, Kim Granito, said in a statement. “The Sexton Single Malt is a brand that is perfectly aligned with the spirit and escapism of this series, and we’re excited to collaborate across all 24 of these final episodes in a variety of ways that delight this highly engaged and vibrant fan community.”

The multichannel partnership will allow The Walking Dead viewers to get involved through a series of custom retail offerings, cocktail experiences and exclusive behind-the-scenes content, which will all be inspired by the whiskey’s mantra: “Celebrate life.”

To kick off the partnership, The Sexton Single Malt will debut a rich, cinematic campaign spot during each of the eight episodes set to air as part one of The Walking Dead season 11. The television spot was produced by creative agency Dead As We Know It and directed by Jake Scott of RSA Films. It portrays the brevity of human existence with a message for viewers to treat themselves to the things that bring them joy, including smooth, sherry cask-aged The Sexton Single Malt crafted from Irish malted barley. Fans will be blown away by the juxtaposition to what they’re seeing depicted throughout The Walking Dead.

The Sexton Single Malt and AMC Networks also launched a national retail program to further extend the partnership. After buying a bottle of The Sexton Single Malt, fans will be able “unlock” exclusive content from The Walking Dead stars. Viewers will also get to see cobranded social and digital content and a variety of merch discount codes.

In August 2021, the famed game show — which premiered in 1984 — announced that Richards and Big Bang Theory alum Mayim Bialik would split the hosting duties. Richards is also an executive producer on the show.

“We are thrilled to begin the next chapter of America’s Favorite Quiz Show with Mike hosting our daily show and Mayim hosting new versions of Jeopardy!,” Ravi Ahuja, Sony Pictures chairman, said in a statement. “We took this decision incredibly seriously. A tremendous amount of work and deliberation has gone into it, perhaps more than has ever gone into the selection of hosts for a show — deservedly so because it’s Jeopardy! and we are following the incomparable Alex Trebek. A senior group of Sony Pictures Television executives pored over footage from every episode, reviewed research from multiple panels and focus groups, and got valuable input from our key partners and Jeopardy! viewers.”

While Richards will host the syndicated game show, Bialik will be responsible for the primetime specials and spinoff shows, including the upcoming Jeopardy! National College Championship. 

The official hosting announcement came less than one year after Trebek died at age 80 in November 2020. He had been battling stage IV pancreatic cancer.

Following Trebek’s passing, Richards shared a heartfelt statement about the “enormous loss” to the Jeopardy! family.

“Working beside him for the past year and a half as he heroically continued to host Jeopardy! was an incredible honor,” the longtime producer shared at the time. “His belief in the importance of the show and his willingness to push himself to perform at the highest level was the most inspiring demonstration of courage I have ever seen. His constant desire to learn, his kindness, and his professionalism will be with all of us forever.”

Days before Sony Pictures Television confirmed the new Jeopardy! hosts, Variety reported that Richards was in “advanced negotiations” to take over the gig. A spokesperson from Sony Pictures told the publication that “discussions were ongoing with several potential candidates,” seemingly hinting at the show’s possible hosts.

Richards, for his part, responded to the rumors with a letter to the Jeopardy! staff.

“It is true that I was asked if I would consider hosting the show. I was humbled and deeply honored. No final decisions have been made and discussions with me and other potential hosts are still ongoing,” he wrote ahead of the announcement, per screenshots of the email shared via social media. “As you know, Alex always believed the game itself and the contestants are the most important aspects of the show, and that will continue to be the guiding principle as the decision is finalized.”

The actresses first met on the set of Full House, which premiered on ABC in 1987. While Bure starred as the eldest Tanner daughter, D.J., Loughlin played her Aunt Becky. After the show came to an end in 1995, the duo stayed close and even reunited on TV years later for the show’s reboot. Fuller House aired on Netflix from 2016 to 2020 with both Bure and Loughlin reprising their roles.

When Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, faced a series of legal troubles amid the college admissions scandal, she left the show. The couple pleaded guilty to fraud in May 2020 after they were accused in March 2019 of paying $500,000 in bribes to ensure their daughters — Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli — were accepted into the University of Southern California. Both the actress and fashion mogul were sentenced to time in prison, which they have both completed, along with community service hours and ordered to pay $400,000 in fines, which they paid in full.

Despite having left Fuller House due to the nationwide scandal, the Summerland alum’s onscreen niece stood up for her in the public eye, proving that their real-life friendship was stronger than ever.

“It’s too personal to us and we would never want to talk about someone that’s such a dear and close friend,” Bure said during an April 2019 appearance on the Today show. “I’ve already said that we are family and we stand by each other and pray for each other and we’ll always be there for each other.”

Aside from their time as fictional family members, Bure and Loughlin were also staples on the Hallmark Channel, especially when it came to the network’s holiday films. While the Dancing With the Stars alum has continued to star in various Hallmark films, the network cut ties with the 90210 actress in March 2019. Prior to her departure from Hallmark, Loughlin even reunited with Bure while walking a red carpet at one of the network’s star-studded events in 2015.

During a season 17 KUWTK episode, which aired in December 2019, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian broke the reality show’s fourth wall and gave viewers a look into what it’s really like to film the E! series when they called out sister Kourtney Kardashian for not filming certain parts of her life.

“Our job is being open and honest and sharing a lot of ourselves, and it just seems like, for the past few years now, Kourtney hasn’t really been open about her personal life on camera,” Kim said in her confessional at the time. “So all of the days that Kourtney isn’t filming, Khloé and I are picking up the slack and having to share more, because if we’re not sharing our loves, then what is the show?”

Since the show’s 2007 debut, Kourtney seemingly had the most tumultuous relationship with the constant filming. She even went as far as to claim via social media that she “quit” the series after a blowout fight with Kim during the season 18 premiere in March 2020.

The siblings made headlines for their physical altercation in the episode after Kim confronted Kourtney for not wanting to shoot the long-running reality series. “You act like I don’t do s–t,” the mom of three told the SKIMS founder. “Do you know all I f–king [do]? You have this narrative in your mind. I will literally f–k you up if you mention it again.”

While the girls laid off the eldest Kardashian sister for the final two seasons, the topic was broached once again during the KUWTK reunion special, hosted by Andy Cohen in June 2021.

During part one of the reunion, the Bravo personality asked Khloé whether she felt like she “carried the show for the past few seasons” after claiming in season 17 that she shared more than her siblings.

“Sometimes Kim and I have had this conversation really openly, is that we feel like we give so much and maybe others aren’t holding up their end of the deal too,” the Revenge Body host replied. “If other people are going through things and are choosing not to share, that’s when it’s unfair, but if there’s really nothing else going on in someone’s life, what are they supposed to share?”

The Good American founder then mentioned Kourtney specifically, appearing to reference their season 17 argument, noting how she didn’t want to showcase any relationships on the show following her split from long-term love Scott Disick.

The former reality star, 28, got candid during Us Weekly‘s “Worst Date Ever” series, telling Us a story included in his upcoming book, You Deserve Better. During a one-on-one date showcased during season 15 The Bachelorette, Cameron and Brown, 26, rode horses while on location in the Netherlands.

“That was a dating nightmare,” Cameron recalled. “I’m not really good with horses. I’m much better now, I’ve gotten to be good with the horses.”

The Florida native told Us that he was “freaked out the whole time” and remembered “squeezing the horses so tight” with his legs. “When I got off the horse, my legs were just shaking,” Cameron added. “If I wanted to go left, it would go right. If I wanted to go forward, it would go back. So, I could never get close to Hannah.”

All in all, he was not entirely thrilled with the one-on-one. “I was like, ‘This is the dumbest date I’ve ever been a part of,'” Cameron said, noting that Brown was “mad” at him because they weren’t able to talk. “She told me she wanted to send me home that night! She thought something was wrong.”

Ultimately, Cameron went on to finish the 2019 season as Brown’s runner-up. Following her short-lived engagement to Jed Wyatt, Brown and Cameron quarantined together in early 2020 amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. While there’s nothing romantic going on between them, the ABC Food Tours cofounder said he’s “still cool” with the former ABC personality. In fact, he spoke with Brown about what details from his time on The Bachelorette are set to be included in his new book.

“We both talked through like, you know, what’s going on in the book and there’s nothing for her to be worried or concerned about,” Cameron previously told Us while promoting his partnership with Smirnoff. “I have no bad things to say about her, so it’s all good. She taught me a lot.”

While his stint on The Bachelorette may have taught him a lot about dating, Cameron no longer has to worry about the awkwardness of first dates. The former contractor appears to be going strong with Camila Kendra. While the duo has stayed tight-lipped about their relationship, Cameron has been spotted out with the model multiple times since January.

Prior to his time with Kendra, the Bachelor Nation heartthrob revealed that he’s been known to “shoot my shot” via Instagram DMs. “A lot of shots don’t get made, but my dad always told me, ‘You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take,’ so I’m gonna shoot,” Cameron shared on Whitney Port’s “With Whit” podcast in December 2020. “Some of them don’t hit, some do, and it is what it is.”

The former Dance Moms star revealed in January 2021 that she is a member of the LGBTQ+ community. At the time, Siwa uploaded a photo in which she was wearing a black t-shirt that read, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”

After coming out, the Nickelodeon star received support from her celebrity friends, including Kim Kardashian, Kerry Washington and Jamie Lynn Spears, among others. She also hosted an Instagram Live that was flooded with positive comments from her millions of followers.

“Personally, I have never, ever, ever been this happy before and it feels really awesome,” Siwa told viewers. “I’ve been happy for a little bit now. It’s just so, so, so awesome.”

Shortly after coming out, the “Kid in a Candy Store” songstress appeared on a February 2021 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and revealed that she had “the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world.

While speaking with host Jimmy Fallon, the singer explained that “10 minutes before” she was “crying” on the phone with her girlfriend. “She’s like, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ And I was like, ‘I’m just so happy because now I get to share what makes me the happiest with the world, and it makes my heart so happy,’” she recalled.

At the time, Siwa kept her significant other’s identity under wraps, but eventually shared that Florida teen Kylie Prew had stolen her heart.

Prior to becoming a couple, the duo met on a cruise ship and eventually went from being best friends to something more.

“We were just hanging out and then I was like, ‘Woah, this girl is fun,’” Siwa said during an interview with J-14 in December 2020 about the first time they met. “I was like ‘You are insane, and I love you to death.’ So, I met my best friend last year on Christmas Eve, actually.”

Since coming out, the YouTube star has continued to speak openly about her sexuality and refuses to let the haters get her down.

“People are going to say it’s not normal, but nothing is normal,” Siwa said in a January Instagram Live. “Literally not one thing about anybody is normal and it’s OK not to be normal, it’s OK to be a little different, it’s OK to be a little weird, strange, different. That’s something we should never, ever be afraid of. That’s something we should be proud of. … I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, that’s what matters.”

The actress starred as Rachel Berry on the fan-favorite FOX drama for six seasons from 2009 to 2015. While her character was famously the New Directions glee club’s resident diva, it appeared that her onscreen personality allegedly reared its ugly head when the cameras stopped rolling.

The Scream Queens alum assured fans during a 2012 interview with Marie Claire that rumors she was a diva “aren’t real.” But that hasn’t stopped some of her past colleagues from speaking out about her alleged behavior.

Michele faced backlash for how she acted on Glee in June 2020 after Samantha Marie Ware — who played Jane Hayward during the show’s sixth season — accused the “Cannonball” singer of making her time on the series “a living hell.”

“I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU [sic] HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD ‘S–T IN MY WIG!’ AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD,” Ware claimed in a Twitter post at the time.

Michele, for her part, responded after other Glee alums weighed in on the drama.

“Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for any pain which I have caused,” she shared via Instagram. “We all can grow and change, and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings.  … I listened to these criticisms, and I am learning and while I am very sorry, I will be better in the future from this experience.”

While Amber Riley and Heather Morris, among others, responded to accusations of Michele’s negative on-set behavior, others have gushed about their time working alongside the former Broadway star.

Darren Criss, for one, accompanied Michele on the road for a joint tour in 2018.

“Lea and I have had a lot of fun the past few years,” Criss said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April 2018. “We’ve always played music together and every time we do, we’re like, ‘We should do this more and take this to more cities.’”
