Starting a new chapter. Christine Brown opened up about how she feels after announcing her split from her husband, Kody Brown — and it sounds like she’s thriving.

The Sister Wives star, 49, got candid about the breakup in a Cameo video she recently recorded for a fan. “Thank you for supporting me with leaving Kody,” the TLC personality said in the message. “The decision was a long time coming, and I feel like a much better person divorced than I ever did, and life is so great.”

Christine added that she “had no idea life could be simple,” asking her 25-year-old daughter, Mykelti, for confirmation that marriage could be easy. “It’s a phenomenal world,” she continued. “And I just hope that Kody and I can still remain friends during all of this, because we’ve been still [really] communicating with each other and stuff. I mean, good and bad days — don’t get me wrong.”

The reality star announced her split from Kody, 52, on November 2 — three weeks before the premiere of season 16 of their family’s TLC series.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

In addition to Mykelti, the pair, who married in March 1994, share children Aspyn, 26, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.

“Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her,” Kody wrote in his own statement on November 2. “Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

In her Cameo, Christine reiterated that she plans to keep things civil with her former spouse as they coparent their children. “We have a life still together after this because we have kids to raise, and Truely’s 11,” she explained. “We have to just be good and amiable and things like that. I think it’s just important to remember that.”

During the season 15 finale in April, Christine seemed to reach her breaking point with the family and told them that she wanted to move back to Utah — something no one agreed with.

After breaking down in tears, she admitted to fellow sister wife Meri Brown, “I can’t do marriage with Kody anymore,” later adding, “I don’t want to. … It’s not enough.”

One month earlier, Christine exclusively told Us Weekly that she wouldn’t trade her plural marriage to Kody for a monogamous relationship. “It’s so out there and beyond my understanding to have a guy around every night,” she said in March. “I felt, like, it would cramp my style a lot because I’ve never had that. As soon as Kody and I married, I was the third wife.”

She added, “I really liked the independence that I have, and I love the freedom that I have.”

At the time of Christine and Kody’s union, he had already been legally married to Meri, 50, since 1990. He was also in a spiritual marriage with Janelle Brown, which happened in 1993. He later legally divorced Meri in 2014 in order to marry his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, and adopt her children. He remains in a spiritual bond with Meri despite legally separating.

Committed to healing. One month after suffering a miscarriage, Jill Duggar let fans know she was feeling “thankful” after the loss of baby No. 3.

On Tuesday, November 9, the 30-year-old shared a gallery of photos of her and her husband, Derick Dillard, as well as their two sons Sam, 4, and Israel, 6, enjoying a sunny day together.

“🌻The weather this weekend was lovely and I’m thankful I got to enjoy it with my favorite people 💓,” the Counting On alum wrote via Instagram, adding the hashtags #countingmyblessings, #blessed and #thankful.

Last month, Duggar and her husband, 32, revealed that they had lost a son. “We recently found out we were expecting our third baby,” the Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships author captioned an October 11 Instagram video. “We were thrilled! However, a few days later we started miscarrying. We love and miss you River Bliss!”

That same day, the couple posted a blog post that explained the meaning behind his name. “One meaning for River is ‘tranquil,’ and here in Arkansas, rivers are often a serene, beautiful escape in nature,” the former TLC personalities wrote.

They added, “We also like how the River talked about in the Bible (Rev. 22:1-5) represents God’s life-giving presence. The river of life (Holy Spirit), ‘flows from the throne of God,’ and with the tree of life is ‘for the healing of the nations.’ Our baby doesn’t get to live here with us on earth, but is forever with the source of the river of life, in the presence of the Lord!”

A week later, Duggar took to her Instagram Story to share an update on how she was coping after the loss of her son, since “it’s been a little bit since I’ve shown my face on here,” she said on October 18.

“As you all know, it’s been kind of a crazy season for us—the recent loss of our baby River,” she continued. “We’ve just been taking more family time, kind of regrouping and getting back into some normal rhythms.”

The 19 Kids and Counting alum then thanked her family and friends “who have reached out, supported us, bringing us meals, cleaning our house — like, all the things.”

Following the news of their loss, Duggar and Dillard received many supportive comments from family members on social media including her sisters Joy-Anna Duggar, Jinger Duggar and Jessa Duggar.

Jill also paid tribute to her son last month by posting a photo of her wrist with the words “Jesus Only Jesus” written on her skin.

“Everyone thinks we’re remaking the I Love Lucy show, and it’s so not that,” Nicole Kidman, who plays the late Lucille Ball in Being the Ricardos, told Variety in June. “It’s about Lucy and Desi [Arnaz] and their relationship and their marriage. It’s very deep, actually.”

Ball and Arnaz tied the knot in 1940 before going on to star in the legendary series, which ran from 1951 to 1957. Three years after I Love Lucy ended, the couple were divorced.

The movie, written and directed by Aaron Sorkin, takes viewers “into the writer’s room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom I Love Lucy,” during which they are “threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear and cultural taboos,” according to the film’s summary.

In January, the Practical Magic actress teased that there would still be plenty for even the biggest I Love Lucy fans to learn from the film, which also stars Javier Bardem as Arnaz. “[I’m] very excited for people to see what Aaron found out about her and the way he’s interpreted Desi and Lucy and the way that it’s so rich,” Kidman told Variety. “I didn’t know any of this.”

While the movie explores a chaotic time in Ball’s career and her relationship with her then-husband, who died in 1986, Kidman made sure the film also paid tribute to the comedy icon, who passed away in 1989 after suffering from an aneurysm.

“She was a trailblazer. She formed her production company. Desi was Cuban, and she had to fight to get him on the show,” the Big Little Lies alum told Chris Rock for Variety’s Actors on Actors series in June. “[Ball and Arnaz] had just so many things in their marriage that are so relevant today, and what she was also dealing with in terms of everything that artists deal with, where you’re up against big corporations. And you’re like, ‘No, this is art.’”

In the same interview, Kidman admitted that the role forced her “out of my comfort zone” since she’s “never cast [as] funny.” However, according to Ball’s daughter, Lucie Arnaz, she seems to have a natural gift for comedy.

“​​Nicole did a spectacular job,” Lucie told Palm Springs Life in August after visiting the film’s set. “Boy, what she did was astounding. She’s got such poise and class.”

In September, Us Weekly confirmed that Big Ed, 56, had proposed to the 28-year-old one month earlier. Now, the couple is verifying their relationship status.

“We are each other’s forever, and, yes, we are engaged!” the pair said in a statement to Us on Wednesday, November 10.

In photos, Liz and her fiancé showed off her diamond ring.

Ed and Liz’s love story was first documented on the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, 90 Day: The Single Life, which aired earlier this year. In May, he opened up exclusively to Us about taking their relationship to the next level.

“I was elated [by] the fact that Liz wanted to move in,” the photographer said at the time. “The fact of the matter is, I wanted us to get to know each other more before I put a ring on her finger, so I really wanted to make sure that we were compatible.”

However, Ed, who was previously married to ex-wife Sandra, revealed he and Liz were “in a rough spot right now and we’re kind of working through [it].”

He added, “A relationship is hard, and she got out of her last relationship recently. I think she was only single for about two weeks before her and I started dating. So I think for Liz, it was a lot too fast.”

Still, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4 alum, who previously dated Rosemarie “Rose” Vega, was committed to making things work with Liz.

“When she told me that she loved me, I mean, I already knew I was in love with her,” he told Us in May. “But to hear it from her for the first time, it really solidified my heart and the feelings that I have for her and her daughter,” whom she shares with an ex.

Later that same month, Ed and the restaurant manager revealed that they had split during the 90 Day: Single Life tell-all. “Liz is somebody that I cared for and loved very much, and she wasn’t wrong,” he said at the time. “She was just the wrong one.”

During the episode, the twosome admitted they had moved too fast — but were able to reconnect in the months leading up to their engagement. They even sparked pregnancy rumors in September after Liz shared an Instagram post about her daughter getting a “baby brother,” which turned out to be a new puppy.

Viewers will get to see Liz and Ed’s reunion play out throughout the new season of The Single Life.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is heading full speed ahead into the Spider-Verse, which, based on the film’s teaser trailer, is full of early 2000s nostalgia. Our friendly neighborhood superhero is running into a few old foes including the Green Goblin, Electro and Doctor Otto “Ock” Octavius.

After Peter’s identity was exposed by Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) at the end of 2019’s Spider-Man: Far Away Home, he asks fellow Avenger Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to use his magic to help him get back his anonymity.

Unfortunately, Strange breaks open the multiverse and supervillains from alternate realities arrive to hunt Peter down, according to the first trailer. That includes Doc Ock, played by Alfred Molina, who originated the role of the scientist turned villain in 2004’s Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire.

Holland told Entertainment Weekly that getting the chance to work with Molina was a blast from Spider-Man movie’s past. “It was really fun to watch him see how technology has advanced,” the Cherry star told the publication in October. “When he was making these films, the arms were puppets, and when we did it, they’re all imaginary and CG. It was quite cool to see him relive it, but also relearn it.”

The trailer for No Way Home hints at possible crossover moments with not only the Sam Raimi-directed films, but The Amazing Spider-Man franchise starring Andrew Garfield. While Holland is staying mum about the details of the film, he told EW that he sees the movie as the end of an era.

“We were all treating [No Way Home] as the end of a franchise, let’s say,” he noted. “I think if we were lucky enough to dive into these characters again, you’d be seeing a very different version. It would no longer be the Homecoming trilogy.”

The Uncharted actor continued, “We would give it some time and try to build something different and tonally change the films. Whether that happens or not, I don’t know. But we were definitely treating [No Way Home] like it was coming to an end, and it felt like it.”

Life imitating art? Kate Hudson reveals that planning her wedding to fiancé Danny Fujikawa is starting to feel a lot like her 2009 film Bride Wars — and that’s not necessarily a good thing.

On Monday, November 8, the 42-year-old actress admitted that she’s “pre-planning the planning” of her nuptials to the 35-year-old musician. “Just kind of thinking of what we want to do and then I’m going back and forth between like, what is this really going to look like?” she told Entertainment Tonight.

The Almost Famous star hasn’t officially locked in a date or a venue just yet — but it’s not because she’s apprehensive about tying the knot.

“Obviously, we’re so excited,” she said. “But the idea of planning a wedding is, like, a lot, it’s a lot.” She added, “I made a whole movie about it.”

Over a decade ago, Hudson starred alongside Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars, which looked at two friends who had spent their whole lives dreaming up their perfect wedding.

When they were kids, the besties both agreed that the Plaza Hotel in New York City is the premiere venue. Unfortunately, after a clerical error leaves them both fighting to book their dream space for the same date, the two women find themselves in a battle of epic proportions that could end their life-long friendship for good.

While Hudson is still hashing out the details of her wedding to Fujikawa, she already knows that her kids Ryder, 17, Bingham, 10, and Rani, 3, will play a part in the event. “I think they’re really excited,” she told ET on Monday. “It was something they were really excited for, all of us, and I’m just really happy.”

The Truth Be Told star was previously married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, who is the father of her eldest son Ryder, for six years before their divorce in 2007. She was then engaged to Bingham’s dad, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, from 2011 to 2014. She began dating Fujikawa two years later after knowing each other for years.

The pair, who share daughter Rani, announced their engagement in September after nearly five years of dating. “Let’s go!” Hudson captioned a sweet photo of the two embracing on a beach.

While celebrating her one-year anniversary with Fujikawa in December 2017, the Pretty Happy author reflected on having met him years earlier while she was pregnant with Ryder in 2004.

“His step sisters are my best friends [Sara Foster and Erin Foster] and so it goes we have been in the same circle for over a decade,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “A year ago today, Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move!”

Fittingly, it may take Hudson a few months before she makes any moves on their wedding.

In the early 2000s, everyone from Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff to Ashton Kutcher and Britney Spears wore the brand’s caps, as well as their jeans and jackets. “Von Dutch was iconic for Y2K fashion,” Paris Hilton says in the trailer for the three-episode series. “That was, like, our uniform basically.”

It was so popular that NBA legend Dennis Rodman claims in the same teaser that “everybody on the planet had Von Dutch.”

However, the true story behind the apparel company, which was founded in 1999 by Michael Cassel and Robert “Bobby” Vaughn, is stranger than fiction. “They didn’t know how to run a business,” one person notes in the trailer. “It was really a facade.”

The Hulu series, directed by Andrew Renzi, claims Von Dutch was a possible money laundering scheme with one person in the trailer hinting that the company was once worth “north of a billion” dollars. “Fashion’s the easiest to launder money,” Vaughn notes. Later, cofounder Cassel hints that the company once did business with a woman connected to Columbian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

However, shady business practices weren’t the only problem the company had. One of its cofounders was charged with first-degree murder — though, those involved with the company still debate over who really founded the brand inspired by Kenny Howard, known as Von Dutch, an American artist and member of the Kustom Kulture movement.

Howard’s daughter sold the Von Dutch name to Cassel and Robert after Howard’s death in 1992  — but L.A. art dealer Ed Boswell claims that he is the one who really created the legendary brand. “Don’t tell people that you created the Von Dutch clothing line,” he says in the trailer. “Tell them what really happened.”

The series intends to get to the bottom of the unbelievable story of how the fashion line went from trendy to tragic over the course of a decade. “When the money comes, people go sideways,” Cassel says in the trailer.

The company was sold to the European shoe distributor in 2009. Kylie Jenner tried to revive the once fashionable brand in 2016 — but not even she could make Von Dutch happen.

On the Monday, November 8, episode of the ABC reality competition series, viewers saw The Talk host, 39, accuse Bersten, 27, of being rude to her as they prepared for their jive to Jackson’s song “Miss You Much.”

However, Kloots told Us Weekly and other reporters following the pair’s Monday night performance that she has an “amazing partnership” with the dancing pro. The proof? The two earned a 40 out of 40 for their dance this week — their first perfect score of the season.

“Well, Alan’s hard on me. I like tough love though,” the Live Your Life author said. “Like, it really does make me work harder, especially when I come in after a full day of work and I’m exhausted. I need him to push me.”

One of Kloot’s favorite things about her partnership with Bersten is how well they communicate. “We are best friends,” she told Us. “We work through everything together because we know … we have to be together in order to take this thing home.”

Bersten agreed. “These hardships only make us stronger,” the So You Think You Can Dance alum said. “No one said it was ever going to be easy — and Amanda shows [that] every week when she goes out there and her blood, sweat and tears are left on the floor.”

From week to week, the pair have shown just how hard the competition can be. The October 25 episode of DWTS also highlighted a tough week of rehearsals, during which Bersten pushed Kloots to focus harder on their Saw-inspired Argentine tango.

When asked on Monday if she regrets those tense moments being caught on film, Kloots told Us and others, “Honesty and vulnerability, that is human. We are humans.”

She continued, “I said to Alan … ‘No one understands how hard this competition is. It’s hard. It’s a lot of work and we want to be here,’ and that is what keeps us going.”

After their flawless performance this week — and dance-off number that earned them two bonus points — the two are heading to the semifinals and Kloots couldn’t be more excited — or exhausted.

“Oh, I mean, this has been the best night ever. I seriously am so grateful,” the fitness instructor said. “We worked so hard this week. … My body hurts everywhere and to get that perfect score and the bonus points felt like, ‘OK, I can do this. I can do this.’”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, based on the Brothers Grimm fairytale, was released in 1937 by Walt Disney Productions and was the studio’s first animated feature film. The new Snow White, directed by Marc Webb, plans to update the original movie — as well as its soundtrack.

The musical will feature new songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the Tony Award and Oscar-winning duo behind the Broadway hit-turned-movie Dear Evan Hansen, as well as the 2016 film La La Land starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.

West Side Story star Rachel Zegler is set to play the titular role. After news of her casting broke in June 2021, she tweeted in all-caps, “I have manifested my entire life I think I think.”

The young actress got her start on Broadway — but her musical theater background isn’t the only reason the Webb picked her to play the fairest of them all. “Rachel’s extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts,” the director told Deadline the same month her casting was announced. “Her strength, intelligence and optimism will become an integral part of rediscovering the joy in this classic Disney fairytale.”

Over the past decade, the House that Mickey Mouse built has reimagined some of its most popular animated movies as live-action films: Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, Mulan, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid, which stars singer Halle Bailey as Ariel and is slated for release in 2023.

Disney has also updated the stories of classic villains in prequel films like Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie as the Sleeping Beauty villain, and Cruella, which features Stone as a much less evil version of Cruella De Vil. The Superbad star finalized a deal to make a sequel three months after the film’s May 2021 release.

Of course, this is not the first big-screen adaptation of Snow White. Lily Collins played the role in the 2012 film Mirror Mirror with Julia Roberts as her wicked adversary. That same year, Charlize Theron was the queen in Snow White and the Huntsman — and again in its 2016 sequel.

Now Wonder Woman’s Gal Gadot will play the Evil Queen in the reboot, which she told Variety in November 2021, will be “so different and delightful and full of joy.”

On Saturday, November 6, the 44-year-old rapper, who recently legally changed his name to Ye, attended the Los Angeles-based private high school’s debut match in Minneapolis with the 22-year-old by his side. She shared a video of the Yeezy designer performing during halftime via her Instagram Story.

It is unclear when the two might have started to hang out — but, one week earlier, Vinetria attended West’s Sunday Service performance and posted a photo from the event.

The basketball game sighting comes days after West spoke out amid rumors that his estranged ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, is dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson.

In a Friday, November 5, interview with Revolt’s “Drink Champs,” the producer was asked about his six-year marriage to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 41 — and did not hold back.

“SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off and I never have seen the papers. We’re not even divorced,” he claimed, referring to Kardashian’s recent late-night hosting gig, which occurred in October. According to Page Six, Vinetria was in town during his interview.

The reality star filed for divorce in February. However, six months later, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Kardashian was “deeply conflicted” about the split with the “Monster” rapper. She was specifically concerned about “what her future and the kids will be without Kanye,” the insider said in August.

During the November podcast, West also talked about how his Kardashian’s four kids North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, wanted their parents to work things out just as much as he does. “[It’s] no joke to me, my kids want their parents to stay together,” he said. “I want their parents — I want us to be together.”

Following his appearance on “Drink Champs,” a source exclusively told Us that West was “not happy” to hear that the KKW Beauty founder was hanging out with Davidson, 27. While the Grammy winner is “trying to stay upbeat and move on with his life” amid the rumors that the Selfish author has moved on, the source told Us that West is “hurting.”

Earlier this year, the “All Falls Down” rapper was linked to model Irina Shayk. The pair split after two months.

The “Love Story” singer was inspired to rerecord her previous six albums after Scooter Braun purchased the masters to them in 2019. Her hope was that the updated takes on the music would give her back control of her discography.

“Artists should own their own work for so many reasons,” she wrote via Instagram in March 2021. “But the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really knows that body of work.”

In April, the Valentine’s Day actress released Fearless (Taylor’s Version), an expanded version of her 2008 record of the same name, which featured collaborations with Maren Morris and Keith Urban.

In November, Swift will drop Red (Taylor’s Version), which she promised would include “so many songs you haven’t heard yet.” The new tracklist, which features 30 songs, includes a previously unreleased duet with Ed Sheeran and a 10-minute version of “All Too Well.”

In August, the Miss Americana star tweeted, “I can’t wait to dust off our highest hopes & relive these memories together.” Two months prior, she teased that listeners might want to grab a box of Kleenex before listening to the updated version of Red.

“I’ve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken,” she wrote via Instagram in June. “Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end.”

The Pennsylvania native’s new version, though, allowed her to put this person back together.

“Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators,” she explained. “And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.”

The original 2012 album was said to be inspired by the musician’s brief 2010 romance with Jake Gyllenhaal. “Sometimes you need to talk it over (over and over and over) for it to ever really be … over,” she explained a decade later.

On Wednesday, November 3, the 27-year-old’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, shared a photo via Instagram of his wife wearing a Harvard sweatshirt with a pair of skinny jeans that were ripped at both knees. “On top of the…mountains of So Cal,” Vuolo, 34, captioned the snapshot, which Duggar reposted on her Instagram Story.

The reality star’s hiking style quickly earned praise from her husband’s followers. “Love the whole fit 👌,” one social media user wrote, while another commented, “Cutttee 😍.”

Someone else let Duggar know she “look[ed] so so good dressing more modern. … You can be modest and dress in style!!❤️.”

The sixth child of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar only started wearing slacks in the last few years. Jinger and her 18 siblings were raised in a devout Baptist home, which came with strict guidelines, including that she and her sisters should dress modestly.

“My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, ‘A woman shall not wear a man’s garment,’” the 19 Kids and Counting alum explained in her May 2021 memoir, The Hope We Hold.

Following her 2016 wedding to Vuolo, Jinger made the decision to upgrade her wardrobe and break from her family’s “modesty” protocol. “Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest,” she continued in her book, which was coauthored by Vuolo. “But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say.”

After moving to Laredo, Texas, with the former soccer player, Jinger started “digging into” the deeper meaning behind some of the Bible passages she’d known her whole life.

“Since Jeremy and I had begun studying Scripture together, I had become more aware of the different beliefs and doctrines Christians held,” the Arkansas native explained in The Hope We Hold. “I realized that not everyone interpreted different passages of Scripture the way I always had, and I wanted to find out why.”

The mother of daughters Felicity, 3, Evangeline, 11 months, whom she shares with Vuolo, came up with her own interpretation of modesty — and “felt no inner conflict” in switching up her wardrobe. She realized that wearing pants “wasn’t disobeying a biblical command.”

While Jinger was concerned her new style would upset her parents, she ultimately realized that they could all “come to different conclusions about Scripture but still love one another.”

Fashion isn’t the only area in which Jinger’s views deviate from her parents. Last month, the reality star celebrated Halloween, a holiday the Duggar brood previously skipped for religious reasons. “Congratulations!,” one of her followers wrote via Instagram. “Finally being expressive and free.”

The Twilight actress shared the news of her engagement during an interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show in November 2021. “We’re totally gonna do it,” she told the host. “I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted, and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening.”

Several months prior, the duo sparked engagement rumors after Stewart was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand. Following her appearance on Howard Stern’s radio show, the California native hinted that she and Meyer had been keeping the major relationship milestone secret for a while.

“[Dylan’s dad] sent us an email congratulating us,” Stewart told Today in November 2021. “I’m like, ‘You were at the engagement party months ago!'”

The couple were first linked in August 2019 and made their relationship Instagram official the following October. The Panic Room star met the California-born screenwriter years before they started dating — but it wasn’t until they were reintroduced at a friend’s birthday party that sparks flew.

“It was literally, like, the day that I met her, all bets were off,” Stewart explained on The Howard Stern Show in November 2019. “I met her years ago on a movie. I hadn’t seen her in, like, two years and she had just walked up to a friend’s birthday party, and I was just, like, ‘Where have you been and how have I not known you?’”

From there, Stewart told Stern that she felt a kinship with Meyer because they were “both scumbags” who “felt like trolls as kids,” and were “so similar but different” in several ways. The Spencer star went on to admit that she said she loved the Moxie cowriter after just two weeks together.

“It was, like, really late and we were in some s–ty bar,” she noted in November 2019. “And her friends were there or whatever, and they, like, walked out and I was just like, ‘Oh man, I’m so f–king in love with you.’ Done.”

The Happiest Season actress, who previously dated Michael Angarano, Robert Pattinson and musician St. Vincent (born Annie Clark), gushed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2021 that she “knocked it out of the park” with Meyer, saying, “I scored.”

The movie, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, looks at how the sisters from Compton, California, became two of the greatest athletes in tennis history — and the role that their domineering dad played in helping them get there.

Smith told Entertainment Weekly that the character appealed to him for a very personal reason. “[He] remind[ed] me a lot of my father,” the actor said in November 2021. “It was that same generation — men that used to fix everything with their hands. I understood what it was like to live at the edge of survival and to try to sustain a dream.”

Over the course of nearly three decades, the Williams sisters have gone from being teen phenoms to sport icons, winning 30 Grand Slam titles between the two of them. However, Serena said her father was the driving force behind her and Venus’ success — which is why the film is named after him.

“There are so many ways to tell this story,” she told EW in November 2021. “But I think telling it through my dad was the best way because he had the idea. He knew how to do it.”

The Louisiana native didn’t play tennis himself, but “he stayed up many nights watching films so he could teach us,” Serena said in a 2003 interview with Oprah Winfrey. “He taught our mom and then they taught us. … Our father doesn’t get enough credit. He showed us how to serve, and we have the biggest serves in women’s tennis.”

The film covers a seven-year period in the ‘90s when Richard was trying to get his daughters noticed by elite coaches — but Serena admitted that the things happening on screen still felt real to her now.

“There’s a scene where my dad says…” she said in a November 2021 interview with Smith before catching herself. “Well, Will says that you’re doing this for every Black girl. And that really hit me in a different way because obviously at the time we didn’t know.”

Richard died in 2014 at the age of 79 and Smith hopes the film will keep his memory alive. “One of the greatest honors as an actor is to be able to celebrate someone’s legacy while they’re still here creating it,” the Men in Black star wrote via Instagram in July 2021.

Unbreakable bond? Sister Wives star Kody Brown is closer than ever with his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, amid the news of his split from Christine Brown.

“The other wives can’t compete against Robyn,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “Robyn and Kody are a dream couple. She has him wrapped around her finger.”

Kody, 52, treats Robyn, 43, “like a queen and takes care of her,” the insider notes. “They act like they’re still newlyweds. They’re still very much in love.”

Robyn was the first new wife to enter the family in 16 years. She and Kody legally married in 2014 following his divorce from Meri Brown, whom he wed in 1990. He and Meri, 50, remain in a “spiritual union.”

Kody tied the knot with Robyn in order to adopt her children Solomon, 10, Aurora, 19, and David, 21, and she is “forever grateful” to him for doing so, according to the source. “She sees through his mistakes,” the insider explained. “He’s very focused on their family.”

On Tuesday, November 2, fans were shocked to hear that Kody and his third wife, Christine, 49, had split.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

However, those close to the pair were not surprised. “It’s no shock. She’s been in the process of leaving him for a while,” a source exclusively told Us after the announcement. “The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completely devoted to Robyn for the past five or six years. That hasn’t changed at all.”

While Meri has also been in a rough spot with Kody for years — not everyone is unhappy with the current arrangement. Janelle Brown and Kody “are really good friends,” a source exclusively tells Us.

Janelle, 52, entered a spiritual marriage with the reality star in 1993. “[Now,] he sees her more as a friend and she is totally fine with that. They have a respectful relationship,” the source says, adding, “She’s not someone who needs romance. She’s really easygoing and goes with the flow.”

Health update! Khloé Kardashian offered insight into how she and her daughter, True Thompson, are feeling after both testing positive for COVID-19.

The 37-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum took to Instagram on Tuesday, November 2, to let people know how her quarantine is going by sharing a throwback snap of herself looking a little bored during a past photo shoot. In the caption, she described her frustration with contracting the coronavirus for a second time.

“❤️ I am so over this!! #CovidSucks,” she wrote.

Followers were quick to offer their support. “Hang in there, my love,” one Instagram user wrote, while another wished the reality star “a speedy recovery.”

Kardashian revealed via social media on Friday, October 29, that she and her 3-year-old — whom she shares with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson —  had tested positive for the coronavirus.

“Hi guys I wanted to let you know True and I tested positive for Covid. I’ve had to cancel several commitments and I’m sorry I won’t be able to make those happen,” she tweeted last week. “Luckily I have been vaccinated so all will be ok. We will be over here in quarantine and following current guidelines.”

The Good American cofounder previously battled the illness in the early days of the pandemic as the KUWTK cameras were rolling on the show’s final season.

“I have been in my room,” she said during an October 2020 episode of the E! series after receiving her official diagnosis. “It’s gonna be fine, but it was really bad for a couple days. Vomiting and shaking and hot and then cold.”

She continued, “I suffer from migraines, but this was the craziest headache. … My chest would burn when I would cough.”

During the same episode, Kardashian noted that she’d “rather be safe than sorry” and was taking the isolation process very seriously. This time around, the former Kocktails With Khloé host is still following the recommended quarantine protocols.

The Revenge Body alum and her daughter had a more low-key Halloween than her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian. The 42-year-old Poosh founder, for her part, showed off three different costumes with fiancé Travis Barker, including an homage to the 1993 film True Romance.

Still, Khloé got into the spirit by photographing her and True’s matching cat ensembles via her Instagram Story for their quarantine holiday.

Before they got sick, the California native joked that her toddler had come up with a “shady” costume idea for trick-or-treating.

“True’s gonna be Moana,” Khloé told Ellen DeGeneres during an October 21 episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show. “She wants me to be Pua, the pig. It’s a little shady of her, but that’s OK. I will be Pua for True.”

In the first teaser for season 7, Jennings, 21, revealed she has been struggling with her physical and mental health since 2019, when she was accepted into Harvard University. That fall, she revealed that she would be “taking a break” before starting school. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but it is the right one for me,” she wrote via Instagram in October 2019.

In the I Am Jazz trailer, which was released on Monday, November 1, she said, “Two years ago, I was on my way to one of the greatest institutions in the world, but I was actually struggling severely with mental health issues.”

The reality star continued, “I started binge eating, and I gained weight, and more weight, and more weight. And now, almost 100 pounds heavier, here I am today.”

Jennings is seen playing tennis and kickball with her friends, but she admits that “having all this extra weight, I can’t do so many things with my body that I used to be able to do.”

While the YouTube star works to get healthy, her family is seen pushing back at her dietary choices. “I do experience fat-shaming from my family,” she confesses on camera. “It makes me feel really humiliated.”

Over the summer, Jennings got candid about her body, letting fans know via Instagram that she had “gained a substantial amount of weight” due to binge eating, “a disease in which I’m not only addicted to food, but I eat it in large quantities.”

The LGBTQ+ activist told her followers that she had posted a before and after photo of herself to “address my weight gain and hold myself accountable. I’m ready to change my ways,” she wrote in June. “I’ve been saying I’m ready to turn over a new leaf, but I’m running out of trees now. I’m ready to take the initiative and create positive changes when it comes to my health and body.”

She added that, with help from her doctors, family and friends, she was ready to take control of her health — “but at the end of the day, I have to be the one committed toward bettering myself.

Jennings added, “Thanks for understanding the battle I’m fighting to win.”

The Florida teen has always given viewers an unfiltered look at her life through her reality series, which premiered in 2015. After undergoing gender confirmation surgery in June 2019, Jennings chronicled her post-op journey on season 5 of the series.

To be fair, it’s hard to like a sadistic stalker — but a lot of viewers of the psychological thriller do, which has rubbed the Gossip Girl alum the wrong way since the series premiered on Lifetime in September 2018.

“We can’t lead ourselves to believe that if Joe would simply find the right person that he would be happy — because he’s a f–king murderer,” Badgley said in an interview with Vanity Fair the following year.

When the series based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel of the same name moved to Netflix for season 2 in 2019, the love for the unhinged protagonist only got stronger — and so did Badgley’s disdain for him.

The John Tucker Must Die actor told BuzzFeed in 2020 that he felt “immensely” conflicted about the psychopathic role “every time, other than the period I’m acting on camera, which is between action and cut.”

To be fair, Badgley wasn’t a big fan of his Gossip Girl character either. “It’s not that I don’t like [Dan Humphrey]. It’s just, after a while, you’re known as somebody that you’re just not, and this is somebody who I so am not,” the Maryland native told Vulture in 2012.

Badgley added that the privileged teen, who he played for six seasons between 2007 and 2012, was “a tool on a show with soap-operatic arcs and he needs to be a judgmental douchebag sometimes. I get that. … But it sucks when people call me ‘Dan’ and think that I’m him.”

Dan might have been revealed to be Gossip Girl, but he wasn’t a murderer. Still, Badgley sees a connection between the Lonely Boy and his You doppelgänger, which begins with their creepy social media habits.

“When I first read the pilot script for You, I definitely saw the similarities [between Joe and Dan],” the Easy A actor told InStyle in January 2020. “I think I was really caught between being able to appreciate how that’s an interesting progression of things for me, but also how it’s not.”

As much as Badgley may loathe Joe, he’s impressed by the show’s ability to surprise its audience — and him as well.

“Trust me, as an actor, I find it very challenging to sometimes suspend my disbelief when you’re forced into a position that is just in the literal sense of the word incredible,” he noted. “That’s the interesting thing about this show — it works.”

In a tearful five-part message, the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 57, asked fans to keep an eye out for the 5-year-old golden retriever who went missing in the early hours of Monday, October 31. “So it is past 4 o’clock in the morning, and Archie somehow, some way is missing,” she said via her Insta Story.

The Real for Real founder continued, “I don’t know what happened, but I’m yelling his name every two seconds for the last five hours, so if anyone … has seen my dog, we’re devastated.”

Beador expressed her concern that something may have happened to her pet after finding the stuffed cow toy Archie often played with lying outside her California home.

“He carried it in his mouth all night tonight, so why is it out here on the sidewalk?” Beador asked through her tears. “Did somebody take him? I don’t know what’s going on.”

The reality star also threatened anyone who may have stolen her furry friend.

“If someone took Archie, I will find you,” she captioned the Monday morning clip. “I have over 20 cameras on my property so get ready. Just bring him hone [sic]. Or we can do it the other way … I will never back down.”

Beador adopted Archie in 2016 after a RHOC viewer posted a photo of the 10-month-old puppy and asked if she knew anyone who was looking for a pet. Over the years, the TV personality has admitted that she spoils the mutt like he is her fourth child.

“He’s been raised fancy,” she joked in a 2017 video for Bravo, in which she revealed that Archie had spent his early years living in a suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco.

“He’s downgrading living at the Beadors,” she continued. “He’s so much fun and so protective. He has his little sweet quirks and, ah, we’re all in love.”

The news of Beador’s lost dog comes days after the entrepreneur defended her daughters Sophie, 19, and 17-year-old twins, Stella and Adeline, whom she shares with her ex-husband, David Beador, against rumors that they had had plastic surgery.

After Shannon posted a photo of the girls via Instagram on Thursday, October 28, one follower commented, “They look like they’ve had work done.”

She clapped back, writing, “Wow! My daughters are teens and for you to say such a thing is ridiculous. Keep your unkind and false comments to yourself!”

Not having it! Candace Cameron Bure clapped back at trolls who criticized her family’s wedding style.

The snapshot making waves online was from a weekend wedding Bure, 45, attended with her husband, Valerie Bure, and kids Natasha, 23, and Lev, 21. “Wedding season and I am HERE 👏🏼 FOR 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼!!! ❤️💘💖,” the Full House alum wrote on Saturday, October 30.

“Mama gets another family pic (minus Maks who’s away at college.),” she continued, referencing her 19-year-old son, Maksim.

While some followers “liked” the image, others decided to share their critiques of the family’s fashion choices in the comments. As a result, Candace was quick to let them know she wasn’t interested in their takes.

When one social media user questioned why the Fuller House star and her daughter decided to wear red, calling it a “no-no at weddings, along with white!,” Candace replied, “Anything goes in L.A. There were 4 women wearing red dresses to the wedding.”

Another commenter also had a problem with the former child star’s dress color, writing, “Supposed to avoid red at weddings, it’s a power color, [it] steals spotlight from the bride.”

Candace once again pointed out that there are “different style rules in Los Angeles,” before adding a winking emoji at the end of her message.

Yet others in her comments continued to voice their opinions, including some fans who criticized her son’s choice not to wear socks to the ceremony, with one person calling the look “a no for me.” The Some Kind of Wonderful actress retorted, “Thanks for letting us know!”

When one Instagram user called her son’s no-sock look “unattractive,” the A Christmas Detour actress shot back, “Comments like this are unattractive. People enjoy style in different ways. It’s not always necessary to share your opinion.”

Candace has been outspoken before against bullies on her social media feed — especially when they come for her family.

In January, she said that when she responds to mean comments about her kids on her Instagram, that’s her maternal instinct switching into high gear.

“Listen, on social media, everyone gets criticized, and if you are a celebrity, it just comes with the territory and I can handle it,” she told Extra. “But the second someone starts to criticize my children or say negative things like that, mama bear comes out. I just had to remind people that there are real people with real feelings behind the screen and I’m not posting for your negativity.”

Candace made that clear to Us Weekly after a silly photo of her husband, 45, cupping her breast caused an uproar with her followers. “There were some people that thought it was, like, inappropriate and too much PDA,” she told Us in November 2020. “I think it was pretty innocent.”
