A look back. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett were knee-deep in wedding planning during the Tuesday, November 9, episode of Vanderpump Rules, but the former Bravo couple wanted very different nuptials before their split.

Lala, 31, discussed the nuptials with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd During the season 9 episode, noting that she had a different vision than her then-fiancé, 50.

“Randall wants a production. I’m the one that’s like, ‘Let’s just do it in a backyard,'” she told the British couple, who have been married since 1982.

In a confessional, Lala revealed that she didn’t necessarily need to get hitched to the movie producer, with whom she shares daughter Ocean, 8 months.

“I’ve also told him we don’t have to get married,” she told the cameras. “Like, let’s just stay together because we want to be. [I’ve said], ‘If things go south, you can f–king dip out on me and you don’t have to worry about a thing legally.’ And he’s like, ‘No.'”

Earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed that the duo had called it quits, with an insider exclusively revealing, “Randall did not want to split but it was Lala’s decision.”

According to the source, “The trust is gone. He’s been trying to win her back.”

Fans began to speculate that the pair were done after the Give Them Lala author removed all photos of her daughter’s father from her Instagram feed and “liked” several posts about cheating. She was later photographed without her engagement ring, further fueling the split rumors.

While the source told us Lala is “trying to keep everything private,” she addressed the breakup during the November 3 episode of her “Give Them Lala” podcast, telling listeners that she doesn’t “know” what her “future holds.”

Lala continued at the time, “I know what I signed up for. I’m on a reality television show, but in this moment it’s not about me. It is about my kid and privacy is the only thing I’m looking for, for her sake.”

The exes met in 2015 while he was in the midst of his divorce from Ambyr Childers, with whom he shares daughters London, now 11, and Riley, now 8. Randall and Lala took their romance public in 2018. They got engaged in the fall of that year and welcomed Ocean in March.

The COVID-19 pandemic delayed their wedding, but Randall told Us in May 2020 that Lala wasn’t too broken up about not being able to tie the knot right away.

“[Lala was] like, ‘Listen to me, pull it together, get your ass back to work, we’re going to be together for the rest of our lives, it’s not the end of the world,’” the Midnight in the Switchgrass director explained at the time. “[She said], ‘I’m OK, you’re OK, we’re going to do this.’ It was just one of these moments where you’re like, ‘I got the best partner in the world.’”

Paying for their mistakes. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will have to pay thousands in fines after the NFL learned he violated many COVID-19 protocols before testing positive.

The quarterback, 37, and wide receiver Allen Lazard were fined $14,650 each for violating the rules. Their team, the Green Bay Packers, will have to pay $300,000 for their missteps.

Unvaccinated players are not allowed to gather outside of a team facility with more than three of their fellow players. Rodgers and Lazard, 25, went to a Halloween party, the New York Times reports.

Athletes who have not had the COVID-19 vaccine are also not allowed to speak with reporters without a mask, a rule Rodgers broke multiple times.

The Green Bay Packers are being charged because the NFL states that the team was aware of Rodgers and Lazard’s protocol violations but never disciplined or reported them.

“We respect the League’s findings and we recognize the importance of adherence to the COVID protocols to keep our team and organization safe and healthy,” Mark Murphy, the Packers’ team president, said in a statement on Tuesday, November 9, after the fines were announced. “We will continue to educate the team regarding the importance of the protocols and remain committed to operating within the protocols.”

Rodgers tested positive for coronavirus earlier this month, and with the news came several reports that the athlete was unvaccinated. The NFL said they’d investigate the team to see if protocols were violated.

The former Jeopardy! guest host said earlier this year that he was “immunized,” but he has since said that he didn’t take any of the vaccines.

He claimed that he underwent his own methods to “stimulate my immune system to create a defense against COVID” following his personal “research” into the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I didn’t lie in the initial press conference,” the football player claimed on The Pat McAfee Show on November 5. “And at the time my plan was to say I’ve been immunized. It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie … I found an immunization protocol that could best protect me and my teammates. And it was a long-term protocol that involved multiple months.”

Rodgers also criticized the COVID-19 protocols in his appearance on the Sirius XM show. “Some of the rules are not based in science at all. They’re based purely in trying to out and shame people,” he claimed. “Personal health decisions should be private. The shaming and the outing … Everyone has their own story. This shamming, cancel society, that is wrong.”

The 2020 MVP, who is engaged to Shailene Woodley, said he is allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and cited blood clot concerns for his reason for not getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. (The J&J shot was briefly pulled due to extremely rare side effects involving blood clots in adult women younger than 50 years old. It was reevaluated and deemed safe.)

Rodgers also stated he worries about vaccine causing fertility issues. The FDA and CDC have both repeatedly stated that there is absolutely no evidence that any of the vaccines cause fertility issues.

The University of California, Berkeley, alum will be cleared to play on Saturday, November 13. He was only barred from playing in the November 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Rodgers warned that he may have to sit out the next game depending on how fast his body recovers from COVID-19.

“There’s a possibility, but a small possibility [that I won’t play that day],” he shared during a November 9 interview on The Pat McAfee Show. “There’s a health hurdle that I have to [clear] … as far as movement, sweating, getting into it, making sure that my body, especially [my] heart is fine with physical exertion.”

Telling her story. Two weeks after Dorit Kemsley experienced a home invasion, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has opened up about the terrifying ordeal.

The Bravo personality, 54, said she was “taken completely off guard” on October 27 when three men broke into her Encino Hills, California, home — and so were the robbers.

“They were surprised to see me at home,” Kemsley told RHOBH costar Teddi Mellencamp on Extra during a Tuesday, November 9, interview. “When they did, they pushed me to the ground. They said, ‘Who else is in the home?’”

Kemsley said the invaders were arguing about murdering her. “There was someone else who said, ‘Just kill her, just kill her already, just kill her,’ and all I could think of [was], ‘I have to save those babies,’” she recalled.

Her children, Jagger, 7, and Phoenix, 5, were asleep in the house at the time. The mother of two said her focus remained on the little ones throughout the scary incident. “I begged them, I begged for my life, and begged for their [lives],” she added.

The designer noted that she didn’t try to spare her possessions. “I said, ‘I don’t care about any of it, take it all. You can have it all. Please, I’m a mother of babies. Please, they need me. Please don’t hurt me,’” she continued.

The Connecticut native is grateful that she kept herself together at the time, adding that the situation could’ve been much worse if she panicked. She considers herself “lucky” to be physically unharmed and to know that her children slept through the confrontation. However, the anxiety set in after the men left with over $100,000 worth of items.

“The panic attacks are coming … And feeling safe? How am I ever going to feel safe again? How do I protect my children? … I’m going through all of that,” she said.

Kemsley has found her RHOBH castmates “beyond supportive” following the traumatic attack. She added that getting through this time is “going to be a process, a long one — that, I know.”

Her husband PK Kemsley, who she married in 2015, was in the U.K. at the time of the break in, but he returned to be with Dorit right after the robbery.

The criminals have not yet been found, and the Los Angeles Police Department wants the public’s help to identify the men. Authorities released the surveillance video from the Kemsley home on Monday, November 8, which shows two masked men in dark hoodies standing outside of a sliding door before shattering the glass and entering the home.

Footage from roughly 15 minutes later shows the men escaping with bags of stolen goods.

Dorit first addressed the robbery on October 30 with a statement via Instagram.

“As you all know by now, I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience,” she shared at the time. “I’ve received so many messages of love and support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s truly overwhelming. My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed. … I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible.”

Taking his time. Though Kourtney Kardashian is getting married, Scott Disick is not trying to follow her lead down the aisle.

An insider tells Us Weekly exclusively that the Talentless designer, 38, has “been doing his own thing” following Travis Barker‘s October proposal to Kardashian, 42.

Disick and the Poosh founder share three kids, Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6. The New York native proposed to Kardashian in 2010, but she turned him down. The two officially split in 2015.

While the University of Arizona alum is getting ready to marry Barker, 45, Disick is not thinking about marriage himself. He doesn’t even want a serious romance right now.

“Don’t be fooled — if he’s spotted with a new girl, it isn’t someone he’s serious about,” the source tells Us.

Disick, who is currently filming the new Kardashian family reality series for Hulu, has told friends that he intends “to have some fun being single” after his September breakup with Amelia Gray Hamlin.

The father of three “isn’t in a rush to settle down with anyone special any time soon,” and Disick isn’t exactly putting himself out there to meet new people. “His friends describe him as a loner,” the insider says. “He’s disconnected from a lot of friends and only has a few close friends in his inner circle.”

Disick has been focused on family as Barker and Kardashian get closer to tying the knot. “He’s mainly been spending a lot of time with his kids,” the source tells Us.

Mason, Penelope and Reign are close with Barker’s kids, Landon, 18, and Alabama, 15, whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. They all grew up in the same neighborhood, so they’ve known each other for years.

“They became friends living in the same neighborhood and hang out a lot,” a different source exclusively told Us in January of the little ones. “Their kids’ friendship had Kourtney and Travis spending a lot of time together.”

Another insider revealed Scott was “furious” after Kardashian and the Blink-182 drummer got engaged.

“He knew it was possible, but is very jealous of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship,” the source said in October. “Scott still thinks that they could call things off before the wedding.”

While the coparents’ relationship is strained, the Kardashian family remains close to Disick. Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner have both maintained their relationships with Kourtney’s ex.

A sorry sibling. Thomas Markle Jr. opened up about telling Prince Harry not to marry his sister Meghan Markle ahead of their royal wedding in 2018.

While appearing on Australia’s Big Brother VIP on Monday, November 8, Thomas, 55, was challenged to write an apology letter.

“Dear Meghan and Harry, the first thing I want to say to both of you is that I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart for the awful, mean letter that I wrote to you prior to your wedding,” Thomas read from his letter, according to Page Six.

In a 2018 letter to Harry, 37, exclusively published by InTouch at the time, Thomas called his sister, now 40, a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”

The handwritten note didn’t change Harry’s mind, and he and Meghan said “I do” on May 19, 2018. Three years later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still married, and Thomas regrets sending the message.

“I want both of you to know it did not come from the real person that I am, but came from a very dark and hurt part of my heart,” the reality TV contestant said on the show. “I am not a mean person at all, and I have more love inside me to give than anything.”

Meghan, who has a different mother than Thomas but shares father Thomas Markle Sr., referred to her siblings as “distant family” at the time of her nuptials.

Earlier this year, the Bench author said that she “grew up as an only child” in her and Harry’s CBS tell-all special in March. The California native added, “I wished I had siblings,” confirming that she hadn’t seen half-sister Samantha Markle in nearly 20 years.

Meghan didn’t directly touch on her relationship with Thomas Jr. at the time. Her half-brother, however, previously explained that he moved out of the family home when she was a toddler.

Still, he claimed they had an “amazing bond” as children, despite their 15-year age gap.

“I was very hurt and confused because of the amazing bond and relationship we shared growing up together and all I could do was put up a defense wall to protect my heart,” Thomas Jr. said on the Australian show, adding, “I know that it was very immature and wrong and I truly regret it.”

Meghan and Harry now have two children of their own, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 5 months. The babies haven’t met their mother’s half-siblings or father yet.

“Everything that I’ve been through with the organization of USAG just makes for a sticky situation,” Biles, 24, explained to Us while promoting the Gold Over America Tour with Jordan Chiles. “It just sucks. And it’s, like, I love the sport so much, but I feel like it’s just a hit to the gut every time something comes out or new information has been revealed.”

In September, the Olympic gold medalist testified in a US Senate hearing where she slammed USA Gymnastics as well as the government officials and other organizations who didn’t properly investigate Dr. Larry Nassar after many gymnasts accused him of sexual abuse.

“We suffered and continue to suffer, because no one at FBI, USAG, or the USOPC did what was necessary to protect us,” Biles said at the time.

Now, she isn’t sure she can feel at ease working with those sports organizations.

“I love the sport. I love the people that I work with. I love the girls that I trained with, but those organizations, it’s just like — ugh!” Biles told Us. “It’s just like a huge dumpster fire that we’re trying to get rid of and that I’m trying to stay as far away from so that my mental health can be intact and if I do decide to train again that I have a clean slate.”

The Ohio native emphasized that she has nothing but love for her coaches and fellow gymnasts, but her body clearly indicated that she needs to make sure her mind is right before competing. Biles had to back out of several competitions at this year’s summer Olympics after she experienced “the twisties.”

“The mental aspect obviously got me during Tokyo and it’s, like, some of those things you can’t ignore and my body didn’t ignore,” she said.

Biles, who has been performing on the Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour throughout the fall, continued, “If we can keep that under control, I would love to train again. But then, at the end of the day, if it costs me my peace, I’m going to step away. And I’m completely fine with stepping away because I’ve been through so much. I’ve accomplished so much.”

Silver medalist Chiles told Us that she and their fellow tour mates (including Grace McCallum, MyKayla Skinner, Jade Carey and more) put all of their support behind Biles regardless of what she wants to do with her life.

“All we’ve been doing is supporting her and making sure that her mind is in the right space and all that stuff, so she can continue with doing what she wants,” Chiles said. “This girl is crazy, this girl is out of this world. She has a huge future ahead of her, if it’s in gymnastics or it’s not. It just depends because that’s how strong she is and that’s all we can do is just support her.”

For now, the two are focused on Gold Over America livestream. The tour wrapped up on Sunday, November 7, but fans will have a chance to watch the high energy gymnastics show online for one day only.

“It’s more of a pop show/gymnastics concert type deal. We have gymnast, we have dancers. We have the whole shebang and it’s really exciting, very upbeat,” Biles added. “Some of the good hit songs that make you want to get up on your feet and dance as well as some of the best gymnasts in the world.”

Athleta Presents Gold Over America Tour will be streaming on the Stellar platform for 24 hours on Saturday, December 4 starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Supportive sister! Nicole Richie revealed how she really feels about her sibling Sofia Richie‘s boyfriend, Elliot Grainge.

Sofia, 23, shared a photo of her kissing the indie record label owner for his 28th birthday. “You are everything to me,” the model captioned the PDA snap via Instagram on Saturday, November 6. “I love you, happy birthday babe.”

She wasn’t the only one to praise her beau on social media. The Simple Life alum, 40, commented on the post to show her adoration.

“Elliot i love you more than you love instacart,” Nicole quipped.

The official Instacart account also chimed in after the Candidly Nicole star mentioned the grocery delivery service. “More than us? Not possible. We’re a perfect pear. 🍐 Happy Birthday @elliot! 🎂 We feel the same way about you!” the brand commented.

Joel Madden, Nicole’s husband since 2010, also chimed in, calling Grainge, “my brother.” Sofia is aunt to Madden, 42, and Nicole’s children, daughter Harlow, 13, and son Sparrow, 12.

The Sofia Richie x House of Harlow 1960 designer’s family privately gave Grainge the green light months ago. “He’s super sweet and a really cool guy — her friends and family approve!” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly in April.

Grainge and Sofia were first spotted together in January before making their relationship Instagram official in the spring. The two let their relationship evolve naturally into a romance.

“They started out as friends before they became a couple, and are now getting serious,” the source added in April. “Their relationship took off and they have been getting closer and closer and spend practically every day together.”

The 10K Projects record label CEO — which he launched by signing Trippie Redd and Tekashi6ix9ine — is pretty private. He has verified social media accounts but doesn’t use them.

“She loves that he’s low-key and isn’t someone who craves the spotlight. They like to be homebodies but also enjoy going out together,” the insider added.

That’s a huge change from Sofia’s last long-term relationship with Scott Disick. She dated the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, 38, for three years before their August 2020 split.

“Sofia’s family think she is way better off without [Scott],” another source told Us in September 2020. “She has been separating herself from the equation and it has been the healthy thing for her and her family.”

Slamming the sexism. Sarah Jessica Parker clapped back at critics who mocked the return of Sex and the City characters in HBO Max’s And Just Like That simply because they aged.

“There’s so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man,” Parker, 56, told Vogue for the December cover story, published Sunday, November 7.

The actress started playing Carrie Bradshaw when Sex and the City premiered on HBO in 1998 when she was 33 years old. More than 20 years later, both the actress and her fictional character have aged, and Parker hasn’t been able to avoid the comments.

“‘Gray hair gray hair gray hair. Does she have gray hair?’ I’m sitting with Andy Cohen, and he has a full head of gray hair, and he’s exquisite,” Parker added. “Why is it okay for him? I don’t know what to tell you people!”

The SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker designer said she sees a lot of hate on Instagram, where she is very active. “Especially on social media. Everyone has something to say. ‘She has too many wrinkles, she doesn’t have enough wrinkles,’” she explained.

In 2010, the Divorce alum said she’d “look like a lunatic” if she got plastic surgery and was planning to age naturally.

Parker told Vogue that it doesn’t seem like she’d be able to win over the haters even if she did get work done. “It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better,” she continued. I know what I look like. I have no choice. What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

The critics haven’t deterred her from bringing Carrie back to the small screen, though. The Hocus Pocus alum — who will reprise her other iconic role as a Sanderson sister for Disney+ next year — revealed that the reason she returned was to give fans some joy after such a difficult period of time.

“In the spring of 2020, I was talking with Michael Patrick about doing a podcast about the behind-the-scenes making of Sex and the City,” the Ohio-born star explained. “And we spoke about what we were missing in the pandemic: joy, community, the experience of being together. The world of Carrie and her friends has always been about coming home, and I felt like we needed that right now.”

And Just Like That premieres in December on HBO Max.

“I’ve written the end of that series, I want to say, a good eight times,” Rhimes, 51, told Variety in an interview published Sunday, November 7. “I was like, ‘And that will be the end!’ Or, ‘That’ll be the final thing that’s ever said or done!’ And all of those things have already happened. So I give up on that, you know what I mean?”

The creator of Grey’s Anatomy has taken a step back. Rhimes handed the showrunning reins over to executive producer Krista Vernoff several years ago, so she might not make another attempt at ending the series. “Am I going to be the person who decides like what the final scene is? I don’t know!” she revealed.

However, she is still in control of when Grey’s Anatomy ends. “Am I the person who decides when the show is over? Yes. And I take full responsibility for that when or if everybody gets mad at me,” she said.

The Bridgerton executive producer is going to make that call with Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey. Though it has survived some major cast members leaving, the show is unlikely to continue without the titular character.

“We’re getting there. Shonda and I will make that decision together,” Pompeo told Us Weekly exclusively in May 2018. “I think that one of the biggest lessons that this show has taught me and being on this show for so long has taught me, is that relationships do change. And they do grow. They take work. Like any marriage, friendship. You gotta put in the work. You have to accept other people’s flaws, and accept your own flaws and try to change and be a better person. But I think everything is worth the time and effort. And things get better.”

Three years later and the end of Grey’s Anatomy still hasn’t been announced. Pompeo, 51, signed on for season 18 last spring, and her contract could be renewed yet again.

“I mean, I’ve been trying to get away for years,” the Boston native told Entertainment Tonight on the Emmy Awards red carpet in September. “I have been trying. It’s not because I haven’t been trying. I have strong relationships at the network and they have been very, very good to me, and have incentivized me to stay.”

The star added that the writers haven’t run out of story yet either. “Miraculously, we keep coming up with ways to have a reason to stay and if there’s a reason, that warrants it,” Pompeo explained.

For now, fans can rest assured that Grey’s Anatomy isn’t going anywhere. Season 18 airs on ABC Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

Laughing together. Ryan Reynolds shared what would’ve been a sweet snap of he and his wife, Blake Lively, on a hike — if he hadn’t cut out most of her face.

“I recommend a walk in the woods,” the Red Notice star, 45, captioned the Instagram Story on Saturday, November 5.

The snap was a selfie taken by the Gossip Girl alum, 34. Reynolds was in full view, looking casual in a puffer vest and baseball cap. Lively, however, was cut off, which only one eye showing. The Deadpool actor pointed out, however, that he left her “earrings in frame.”

The Betty Buzz founder reposted the snap to her own Story, revealing that she cares far more about showing off her accessory game than her whole face. “The best Guy,” she captioned the snap and added a gif of Princess Anna from Frozen looking very excited.

The funny duo, who married in 2012, previously had fans laughing when Lively made Reynolds repost a sweet photo of them together in August. They were celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first date when the Free Guy star cropped out her stylish accessories.

“Posting this again because I cut out my wife’s cute earrings. She trained me better than this,” he wrote in a caption placed over his own face at the time. “Sorry if I let anyone down.”

It seems her husband learned his lesson.

The joking post comes just after Reynolds praised his wife at the WSJ Magazine‘s 2021 Innovator Awards on Monday, November 1.

“I want to thank my wife, Blake,” the Aviation Gin owner told the audience as he accepted the honor. “She is a genius. She’s a renaissance woman. And she pushes me in ways I never imagined I’d be pushed.”

Reynolds recently announced that he was taking a short break from acting to spend more time parenting. “Perfect time for a little sabbatical from movie making,” Reynolds wrote via Instagram in October after wrapping his holiday film Spirited. “I’m gonna miss every second [of] working with this obscenely gifted group of creators and artists. These days, kindness matters as much as talent. I’ve been lucky to work with folks who are flush with both.”

He and Lively are known to trade off time working so one of them can always be with their family.

Reaching out. Vin Diesel publicly asked Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to return to the Fast & Furious franchise despite their differences.

“My little brother Dwayne… the time has come,” the actor, 54, who plays Dom Toretto in the films, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, November 7. “The world awaits the finale of Fast 10.”

Diesel shared a still of him and Johnson, 49, in a previous film and mentioned how his kids think highly of the Jungle Cruise star. He shares Hania, 13, Vincent, 11, and Pauline, 6, with longtime partner Paloma Jiménez.

“As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits,” Diesel wrote.

The xXx star revealed that Johnson’s Hobbs has a large part to play in the tenth film. The Termana Tequila founder appeared in 2011’s Fast Five, 2013’s Fast & Furious 6 and 2019’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. However, Johnson said earlier this year that his days as Hobbs are over.

“I’ve wished them well,” Johnson told The Hollywood Reporter in July. “I wish them well on Fast 9. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me.”

Diesel’s November post makes it clear that he wants to change Johnson’s mind.

“I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo. I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10!” the Guardians of the Galaxy actor wrote. “I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play.”

The California native added that he didn’t want to recast the Red Notice star’s role. “Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny,” he concluded.

The Rock and Diesel’s feud dates back to 2016 when the wrestler opened up about on-set drama without naming names.

“Some [male costars] conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t,” Johnson wrote (and later deleted) via an Instagram caption in August 2016. “The ones that don’t are too chicken s—t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.”

Their feud seemed to settle down until Diesel claimed he had to use some “tough love” to get the former WWE star’s performance to where it needed to be.

“We had to get there and sometimes, at that time, I could give a lot of tough love. Not Fellini-esque, but I would do anything I’d have to do in order to get performances in anything I’m producing,” he told Men’s Health in June. 

The Fellini comment seemingly revived the feud with several jobs being made throughout the last year. However, Johnson later said he regretted making the post that started the public back-and-forth.

Double the fun. Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg both shared updates about their twins on Saturday, November 6.

The couple, who married in October 2015, took to Instagram to reveal some news. “It’s been really sweet to have both sets of grandparents meet the babies this week,” Chung, 38, captioned an Instagram photo of her family gazing lovingly at the newborns, who were laying on a pillow.

The Dexter actress, who was candid about the egg freezing and family planning process, also noted that she’d received some baby presents recently, including books from Scribd and shoes from DSW. Greenberg, 42, shared a snap of the two pairs of tiny Timberland boots.

“My boys will be ready for NYC,” he captioned the photo via his Instagram story. That’s the first time either Chung or Greenberg has noted the babies’ sex.

Based on his caption, it seems Greenberg is ready to take his twin boys to New York City. The Nebraska native moved to Manhattan in 1996 when he started college at New York University. He and Chung split their time between Los Angeles and New York, so the babies will be bicoastal.

The It’s Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong stars, who started dating in early 2012, never revealed they were expecting new additions. Instead, the One Tree Hill alum announced the arrival of their twins on October 24 with a simple video showing the babies on his chest.

“We got double the trouble now @jamiejchung 👶🏻👶🏻,” he captioned the video via Instagram. Chung commented with two heart emojis and also shared the video to her Instagram story.

On October 27, the Once Upon a Time alum shared a snap of one of her sons rising on her chest, simply captioning it, “x 2.”

An insider told Us Weekly earlier this month that the new parents are thrilled with their growing family.

“Both Bryan and Jamie have their hands full and are busy with their new little ones but are loving it and are very excited for this adventure,” a source exclusively told Us at the time.

The insider also noted that the Real World alum “will still be taking on acting roles,” adding, “She flew to New York for a day to go to the Dexter premiere [on Monday, November 1], and flew back home. She wants to be part of the twins’ life as much as possible in their early stages!”

Undying friendship! The Vampire Diaries stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley still see each other regularly despite the show ending in 2017.

While answering Google autocomplete questions, the Canadian, 32, found people were looking up: “Are Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley still friends?”

The star of Netflix’s Love Hard was happy to answer affirmatively. “Yes, my friends. I would like to report that the Dubs and I are homies,” she told Wired in an interview published Tuesday, November 2.

Not only are they still friendly, but the two actually make time to see each other. The Brother’s Bond Bourbon cofounder, who married Ines de Ramon in 2019, hangs out with his former onscreen flame and his real life spouse. Even their dogs are buddies.

“I love his wife. My dog and his dog play like best friends that have known each other forever,” Dobrev said. “And I actually see him a lot. Love that guy.”

Though Dobrev left The Vampire Diaries in 2015 (and returned for the 2017 series finale), she still isn’t going to answer the age-old question: Stefan or Damon? Her character, Elena, was caught in a love triangle between the vampire brothers, and while Damon (Ian Somerhalder) ultimately won her heart, Dobrev still doesn’t want to offend her passionate fans.

“You know I’m not gonna answer [that question] because I don’t want to alienate half of my amazing, loving fans,” the Fresh Vine Wines cofounder said.

Though Wesley and Dobrev are on great terms now, they didn’t bond right away on the Atlanta set of TVD. The Degrassi alum, who is now dating Shaun White, opened up about their tension while on a June 2019 episode of Candice King and Kayla Ewell’s “Directionally Challenged” podcast.

“Paul and I didn’t get along at the beginning of the show. I respected Paul Wesley, I didn’t like Paul Wesley,” the actress recalled at the time. “I remember everyone would walk up to me after the show aired and they’d be like, ‘Are you and Paul dating in real life?’ Everyone thought that we had such good chemistry. I realize now that there’s a fine line between love and hate and we despised each other so much that it read as love but … We really just didn’t get along the first five months of shooting.”

She added that they eventually got over their differences and wound up being the closest of the main cast members. “We ended up getting to a good place and it was fine,” Dobrev added. “Of everyone, I think I probably see him the most and hang out with him the most. We’re probably the closest. We hang out a lot. We’re really good friends. I love his wife. It’s so funny how time changes everything because I never thought he would be one of my best friends.”

He’s a superhero! Harry Styles‘ casting in Marvel Studio’s Eternals was spoiled weeks before the movie hit theaters on Friday, November 5, but director Chloé Zhao can finally talk about the casting decision. (Spoilers ahead!)

The Oscar winner revealed that she wasn’t going to have Eros in the action movie if Styles, 27, said no. “Harry as Eros was very much a package deal for me,” Zhao, 39, told Deadline on Friday, November 5. “I pitched the idea of Pip the Troll [voiced by Patton Oswalt] and Eros to Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] a while back, and I love the idea of exploring an Eternal who is beyond Titan and who may have influenced Thanos throughout the years the same way Eternals influenced us, earthlings.”

The “Watermelon Sugar” singer’s character wasn’t explored in the film, though. He was introduced in a post-credits scene where he interrupts Thena (Angelina Jolie), Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) and Druig (Barry Keoghan) as they are deciding how to save their friends. “Behold, the royal prince of Thanos, brother of Titan,” Pip says.

The singer, who is dating Olivia Wilde, immediately turns on the charm as Eros smirks and flirts his way into working with the new heroes.

“I’m Eros, this is Pip, and you are as beautiful as legends say, Thena,” he says. “Pip and I are here to help. Your friends are in big trouble. We know where to find them.”

Zhao emphasized that there wasn’t a search for the right Eros. It was Styles all along.

“And then, it wasn’t like I suggested Eros, and ‘Let’s go find actors.’ I kept tabs on Harry since Dunkirk, I thought he was very interesting,” she explained. “After meeting him I realized he is that character — the same way I cast the rest of my cast.”

Fans might notice that Eros seems nothing like Thanos, the purple alien who destroyed half of all life in the universe for five years. That’s very intentional. Eros (sometimes known as Starfox) is the opposite of the Mad Titan, who was defeated in Avengers: Endgame. Thano’s brother is funny, carefree and charming.

“There’s so much of Eros in him,” Zhao added. “For me, if he says yes, and Kevin says yes, then it’s a go. And I’m very happy they both did.”

Styles made his acting debut in 2017’s Dunkirk. His Marvel movie is only his second scripted role on the big screen. He’ll next star in Wilde’s thriller Don’t Worry Darling, opposite Florence Pugh (who also entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year as Yelena Belova in Black Widow).

The Matchbox Twenty singer, 49, exclusively told Us Weekly that he doesn’t have a big secret to a long-lasting marriage. He just really loves Maldonado, 51.

“We’re friends. Above everything else, she’s my best friend,” Thomas told Us. “She’s the one that I like to spend the most time with. If something’s happening and she doesn’t know about it, it doesn’t feel like it’s happening.”

While discussing his new holiday album, Something About Christmas Time, the Germany-born singer joked that they’re “very codependent” — but he assures Us it’s nothing for his therapist to worry about. “We just rely on each other a lot,” he explained.

The couple has faced other struggles, however, as Maldonado, a retired model, battles several severe health issues. After brain surgery to remove a lesion in 2015, she was diagnosed with several tick-borne diseases, including Neurologic Lyme Disease, Babesiosis and Bartonella. Those infections are believed to have triggered Hashimoto’s disease and Lupus-like symptoms, as well as Atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia (often nicknamed “suicide disease” because the attack of the facial nerves is so painful).

Thomas said his wife is pushing through as best she can.

“It’s a lifelong thing that she’s kind of [dealing with]. We’re in the mode of trying to control things more than try and cure them,” he explained to Us.

The musician revealed that her condition has taught them to cherish the good times.

“We’ve learned a lot of perspective on those things,” he noted. “When you don’t have as many good days, when you have them, you really appreciate them, and you really know what to do with them. And maybe what would have been a bad day doesn’t seem so bad sometimes. We kind of realized that there’s certain things that we have, and that we’re really lucky.”

Thomas added that he is grateful that he was able to work during the coronavirus pandemic, giving him something to focus on amid the chaos. He wrote “Move” with Carlos Santana, 22 years after their collaboration “Smooth” hit the airwaves, and he finally had time to record the Christmas album he always said he wanted to make.

“With everything that’s been happening, that we’ve all been experiencing as a community over the last year and a half, we realize how fortunate we are,” the “Small Town Christmas” crooner stressed. “I have a job that I was able to work during this whole time. I never worried about losing my house or losing my job. We had food on the table. So with everything that was going on recently, I think we even realized how more, how lucky we are in with the relationship that we have and how we can take care of each other.”

Plus, Thomas and Maldonado survived quarantine without killing each other.

“We’ve been locked down. It’s just been the two of us in the house, and we still like each other,” he quipped. “So that, I think, that says a lot.”

Thomas will perform tracks from Something About Christmas during an exclusive livestream concert on StageIt, presented by VNUE, on Monday, November 8, at 8 p.m. ET. Proceeds benefit Sidewalk Angels Foundation, an organization founded by Thomas and Maldonado that benefits no-kill animal shelters.

The High School Musical alum, 36, credited trainer Harley Pasternak with helping her feel at ease with her body after giving birth to daughter Jupiter, 8 months.

“This is the first time I feel comfortable in a snug T-shirt since being pregnant,” Tisdale shared via Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 2.

The Frenshe founder, who shares Jupiter with husband Christopher French, explained that her body has changed “tremendously” since getting moving — but she isn’t doing anything too intense.

“Honestly, it’s all about getting your steps in,” Tisdale shared. “His method isn’t hard and my body isn’t left feeling like I tortured it. I can’t believe what my body has gone through over the last year and a half. I’m so grateful for it and honestly can’t believe how strong I feel.”

The Merry Happy Whatever star acknowledged that it wasn’t exactly a hidden secret she was revealing, but she was surprised by how much it helped her physical and mental health. “All I do is walk lol but it’s effective,” she added.

She continued, “I’m only sharing this because after months of working hard and trying everything, these small changes in the last three weeks is what have done the most.”

The new mom previously credited yoga and pilates with helping her body heal from diastasis recti, which is the separation of the left and right sides of the abdominal musicale. This leads to what some people call a “pooch.”

“It hasn’t been easy but doing the right workouts, I have been able to close the gap!” she shared via Instagram in August.

While that type of fitness worked for her abdominal muscles, the “He Said, She Said” singer revealed it’s her 14,000 steps per day that really has helped her stay happy.

“It’s the difference of how I feel. It’s all about moving, finding ways of walking. Taking the dogs out with the baby for a stroll, taking meetings while walking vs. sitting,” she explained.

She stressed that the benefits aren’t just about losing baby weight and fitting into old clothing.

“It’s honestly what has helped my mental health as well,” she added. “Having the extra energy from anxiety, just taking a walk and putting on a walking meditation always makes me feel better.”

Tisdale’s candid revelations included some medical background, noting that this is what is best for her body for a reason. She has “borderline thyroid disease,” and high-impact workouts aren’t the best for her body. Low-impact activities like walking and cutting out gluten and dairy help her feel her best.

No bad vibes here. Gwyneth Paltrow happily greeted Chris Martin‘s current girlfriend, Dakota Johnson, when they ran into each other at a Hollywood event.

The actresses attended the Gucci’s Love Parade fashion show on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 2, to check out the fashion house’s Spring Summer 2022 collection when they crossed paths.

A video shows Paltrow, 49, wearing an updated version of her 1996 VMAs suit as she greeted Johnson, 32, with an excited, “How are you?” in the clip via Variety, the Fifty Shades of Grey actress returned the warm welcome and put an arm around the Goop founder’s waist to pose for a photo.

Paltrow and Johnson were also both in the front row to see the fashion show, sitting among the likes of Billie Eilish, Tracee Ellis Ross, Miley Cyrus and Serena Williams, avoiding to Vogue.

The musician, 44, and Oscar winner “consciously uncoupled” in 2014, announcing their split after 11 years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized two years later. The pair share daughter Apple, 17, and son Moses, 15. Martin has been linked to Johnson since 2017, while Paltrow married producer Brad Falchuk in 2018.

The Iron Man actress has previously expressed her happiness for the Coldplay singer and the Suspiria star, revealing how much she genuinely likes Johnson — even if other people think that’s bizarre.

Following her lead? Christine Brown left husband Kody Brown — and sister wife Meri Brown could be the next to leave, an insider exclusively tells Us Weekly.

Meri, 50, “has become very independent” recently, the source reveals. The change comes after more than 30 years with Kody, 52.

The pair have the longest relationship in the Sister Wives cast, marrying in 1990. Kody wed his second wife, Janelle Brown, in January 1993, and tied the knot with his third wife, Christine, 49, in 1994. His fourth wife, Robyn Brown, was welcomed into the family in May 2010.

Meri and Kody are already divorced, which was a necessary legal process for Kody to formally adopt Robyn’s three children. The duo have remained in “a spiritual union” ever since

“She and Kody have had zero relationship — it’s all fake,” the source claims. “They’re together for TV, essentially.”

The TLC series about Kody’s polygamous life debuted in September 2010, and Sister Wives is still going strong. The show will return for season 16 on Thursday, November 21.

“Meri spends a lot of time with her kids and goes wherever they go,” the insider adds. The California native shares daughter Mariah with Kody.

In addition to being a TLC star, Meri owns a small business — a bed and breakfast in Utah — that allows her time away from her Arizona home with her husband.

Kody previously hinted at trouble in paradise when he spoke to Us exclusively earlier this year. “Meri and I have been in a very dark place for a very long time,” the Wyoming native told Us in February 2021 ahead of the season 15 premiere of Sister Wives. “It’s been more about trying to get ourselves out of this hole that we dug ourselves into. … I hope that some communication heals things. It’s been a long time and it’s been very difficult.”

Their troubles then played out on season 15, which showed that they just couldn’t get on the same page. That seems to still be the case.

“Publicly, Meri will be the next one to split from Kody. She’s already been out with other men publicly,” the source tells Us, adding that Christine’s exit may have helped Meri see the way out. “Now that’s Christine’s gone, it might be something that’s able to happen without the contract ending.”

Kody and Christine announced their split on Tuesday, November 2. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” Christine wrote via Instagram. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

Kody, for his part, shared a statement of sadness and support for his estranged wife shortly after she released her breakup announcement.

“Christine’s decision to leave comes with a great deal of sadness. We enjoyed many years together and I have a large amount of respect and admiration for her,” he wrote via Instagram in November. “Although we are moving forward on different paths, we will always remain committed parents.”

The pair share children Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11.

Kody remains in “spiritual unions” with Janelle, 52, and Robyn, 43.

No more cryptic messages. Britney Spears slammed her mother outright, blaming Lynne Spears for her conservatorship.

“The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman,” reads an image Britney, 39, shared via Instagram on Tuesday, November 2.

The “Toxic” singer discussed how she’s been happy a lot recently in the caption, but it’s the postscript message that slams her family and revealed that she doesn’t only place blame with her father, Jamie Spears, for her adult guardianship.

“Pssss my dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea !!!! I will never get those years back …. she secretly ruined my life,” Britney alleged.

The Louisiana-raised performer called out Lynne, 66, in the post as well as Lou Taylor. The Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group CEO, 56, was Britney’s former business manager. She no longer works with the family.

“And yes I will call her and Lou Taylor out on it,” Britney added in her caption. “So take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f–k yourself !!!! You know exactly what you did.”

The Grammy winner took issue with the portrayal of her father, 69, as the orchestrator of her conservatorship. While Jamie ultimately had legal control of his daughter, Britney claimed he was “not smart enough to ever think of a conservatorship” without Lynne and Taylor.

Britney concluded on an optimistic note, writing, “But tonight I will smile knowing I have a new life ahead of me !!!!”

The popstar first entered the conservatorship in 2008. The legal situation was brought back into the spotlight after The New York Times Presents: Framing Britney Spears debuted on Hulu in February. The public scrutiny of the guardianship intensified after the Crossroads star’s first public testimony, where she revealed she was never told she could end the conservatorship.

The legal proceedings have sped up since her June court hearing and the arrival of her new attorney, Mathew Rosengart. In September, a judge approved the “Womanizer” singer’s petition to remove her father from his 13-year position as conservator of her estate.

“Mr. Spears loves his daughter Britney unconditionally. For 13 years, he has tried to do what is in her best interests, whether as a conservator or her father. This started with agreeing to serve as her conservator when she voluntarily entered into the conservatorship,” a statement from Jamie’s attorney read at the time. “This included helping her revive her career and re-establish a relationship with her children. For anyone who has tried to help a family member dealing with mental health issues, they can appreciate the tremendous amount of daily worry and work this required.”

The issue of whether the conservatorship should be terminated completely has yet to be decided.

The two met by chance at a New York City restaurant in February of that year.

“I wandered into Pure Food and Wine on Irving Place, on an unseasonably warm February evening,” the Saturday Night Live performer recalled via Instagram eight years after they first met. “My friend, [Brendan O’Connell] and I sat down (outside!) and as I turned to my left I saw a woman who would change my life. Entirely. 8 years today. Thanks for all you’ve given me. You are a gift.”

In a joint interview the following year, they revealed that the 30 Rock alum approached the yoga instructor and didn’t ask for her number. Instead, he gave her his card and told her to call him.

“I was standing near the door with my friends when he walked up and took my hand and said, ‘I must know you,’” Hilaria told The New York Times in July 2012. After his future wife mustered up the courage to call him, she got his voicemail. They went on a date a few days later — and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly. The two were officially dating by spring and moved in together within a few months.

Their 26-year age difference (his was born in 1958 while she was born in 1984) was a big concern for the “Mom Brain” podcast host initially, but the filmmaker noticed her maturity right away — especially when she made it perfectly clear what she wanted from a relationship.

“While she was in no hurry, she was very mature and clear about what she wanted — to be married someday,” he recalled.

Alec was previously married to Kim Basinger for nearly 20 years until they divorced in 2002. In 1995, the pair welcomed daughter Ireland Baldwin.

Hilaria, who shares six children with her husband, opened up about being a stepmother to Alec’s eldest daughter in April 2019.

“Sometimes my language about my biological children does not include her. Because I did not birth her and I never want to disrespect the fact that she has a wonderful mother,” the fitness guru shared via Instagram amid criticism that she didn’t speak much about Ireland. “But this will never take away from how much I love her, need her in my life, and think that she is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Please don’t look for trouble where there is none.”
