Starting a new chapter! Matt James is ready to reintroduce himself with his upcoming memoir, First Impressions: Off-Screen Conversations with a Bachelor on Race, Family, and Forgiveness.

“It’s about a lot of the things that I wanted people to know about myself that didn’t make the final product [of The Bachelor],” the ABC Food Tours founder, 29, told Us Weekly exclusively on Tuesday, November 9, at Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton‘s Amazon Holiday Hosting Soirée in Brooklyn. “There’s a lot that needed to be shared … but I want a chance to share a little bit more of who I am and put context to a lot of the things that we scratched the surface of.”

James announced the project via Instagram earlier this month, describing it as being “MY story, unedited.” He told Us on Tuesday that he’s “very excited” for fans of the franchise to get the full picture of his life when the book hits shelves in May 2022.

The former athlete was named the first Black Bachelor in June 2020, which came as a shock to some viewers, who mostly knew him as Tyler Cameron‘s BFF. While James was initially in the running to appear on Clare Crawley‘s season 16 of The Bachelorette, he didn’t make the final cut of suitors.

His search for The One came to an end in March and was jam-packed with drama surrounding front-runner (and eventual winner) Rachael Kirkconnell. The pair briefly split as the Georgia native, 25, faced backlash for her past racially insensitive actions, hashing things out with Emmanuel Acho during the emotional After the Final Rose special. (The graphic designer issued several public apologies amid the controversy.)

The twosome have since reunited — and seem to be stronger than ever. Before James was eliminated from season 30 of Dancing With the Stars in October, his girlfriend was one of his fiercest supporters.

“I couldn’t imagine being out there without her being there,” James gushed on Tuesday, adding that he was “honored” to compete on the ABC series with pro Lindsay Arnold. “She came to every performance, she was picking me up from practice. She was a rider.”

As for whether he thinks Kirkconnell could handle the pressure of DWTS, he told Us, “I would love for Rachael to do it. She can do whatever she puts her mind to, and if she wanted to dance, she would knock it out of the park.”

While his final bow in the ballroom caused confusion among fans because of judge Len Goodman‘s controversial tiebreaker vote, James is still “cool” with the remaining season 30 cast members.

“You really become a part of that community when they invite you in to be a part of Dancing With the Stars,” he said, hinting at his return to the studio for the season finale. “I’m gonna be upset about everybody leaving because I love everybody. … You’ve got a bunch of talented pros and stars, so I’m interested in seeing how everything shapes up. There’s a bunch of people who can take that mirrorball [trophy] home and I think everyone’s going to be upset [when] people go home who they think had a shot to [win] it.”

The 37-year-old actress reunited with Nichols, 41, earlier this month, along with fellow OTH alums Stephen Colletti, Shantel VanSanten and Kate Voegele. The walk down memory lane was “so fun,” Kramer told Us Weekly exclusively on Monday, November 8.

“I had not seen Austin in, like, almost 11 years. … We sat down after my show and we drank and we laughed,” the “Whine Down” podcast host said while promoting her upcoming Lifetime film, The Holiday Fix Up. “Shantel’s, you know, one of my closest friends from the show and [it was] so great to see her. … It was so fun to reconnect with them because, you know, we spent some years together and it was really, really cool.”

Kramer shared a handful of photos from the night out with her former costars, playfully updating her followers on where she thought the group’s characters would be now.

“Plot twist. ‘Brooke got the boy….Alex got the man’ Julian and Alex are now together years later 🤣,” she captioned a carousel of cozy snaps with Nichols on Sunday, November 7, holding hands with the Day After Tomorrow actor. “What do the cool kids say? Do y’all ship this? @austinnichols.”

Fans couldn’t help but chime in with their thoughts, as one Instagram user joked, “This is messing with my mind! 😂😂.” Another commented, “Alex + Julian NO! You + Austin YES!”

In the CW series, Kramer’s character, Alex Dupre, had a huge crush on Nichols’ Julian Baker. Unfortunately, he chose Sophia Bush‘s Brooke Davis in the end.

The strong response to the social media upload came as a surprise to Kramer, who told Us the hug they shared was totally innocent. “It was funny to see the fans, like, freak out,” she said on Monday. “They’re all like, ‘Are you going to Austin dating?’ I’m like, ‘No, we just have not seen each other in 11 years.’ … I was talking about the characters. I wasn’t talking about Jana and Austin.”

The country singer added, “Just because I go out with someone does not mean that, you know, I’m dating the person.”

Kramer filed for divorce from Mike Caussin in April after nearly six years of marriage. The pair briefly separated in 2016 as Us broke the news that the former football player, 34, cheated on the Friday Night Lights alum. After he sought treatment for sex addiction, Caussin and Kramer renewed their vows.

The exes — who share daughter Jolie, 5, and son Jace, 2 — finalized their divorce in July. In the wake of her split, Kramer was briefly linked to Bachelor Nation’s Graham Bunn and to Jay Cutler, who she was spotted with in Nashville in September. However, a source exclusively told Us the following month that things quickly fizzled out after “a few dates.”

Now, the “Voices” singer is preparing to give her kids a magical holiday season — and teaming up with Ryan McPartlin and Maria Menounos on The Holiday Fix Up was the perfect way to get into the spirit.

“My divorce was finalized one of the days that I was filming … [and] it was the best thing for me because I was surrounded by people that cared,” Kramer told Us. “This movie is all about second chances. And so I think I was able to kind of relate that back to my life [and] to go, ‘I’m not done.’ … I still got another chance.”

The Holiday Fix Up premieres on Lifetime Saturday, December 11 at 8 p.m. ET and will be available on demand and on MyLifetime.com starting the next day.

The former pro wrestler, 37, was away from her fiancé, 39, while working on America’s Got Talent: Extreme. At the same time, Chigvintsev has been rehearsing and performing with Melora Hardin on season 30 of Dancing With the Stars. During the latest episode of “The Bellas Podcast,” the California native described the challenges of sustaining a long-distance relationship — especially when raising 15-month-old son Matteo.

“This is the longest we haven’t seen each other. We went six or seven weeks [apart],” Nikki told her twin sister, Brie Bella, on the Wednesday, November 10, podcast episode. “I got AGT: Extreme … [and] Artem and I both discussed, Teo goes everywhere with mama. That’s where he’s comfortable, that’s where he does best. And, you know, it’s been hard on [Artem] and it’s been hard on me, too, not to have my man in my bed.”

Nikki admitted that the distance sometimes proved to be difficult for the couple, who got engaged in November 2019, but said they’ve been making up for lost time with “some sexy FaceTimes.” When Brie, also 37, pressed for more details about how the duo are adjusting, Nikki was optimistic.

“We’re actually in a good spot. We were doing a little rocky for a bit,” the two-time WWE Divas champion said, noting that she wants Chigvintsev to make an appearance on the podcast soon to hash things out. “[We] had to get back into therapy. You know, distance is really hard. … Now we’re stronger than ever.”

The Incomparable coauthor recognized that for her and the Russia native, being “raised in different countries” had a pretty significant “effect” on how they communicate as a couple.

“When you’re away from each other, there’s different time zones. Myself having Matteo and working long hours, I need Artem to check in in ways of like, ‘How are you? how are you doing? How’s Matteo doing? What can I do?'” Nikki continued. “Sometimes I feel like the other person, mainly the dads, they get into this [space of thinking] they FaceTimed and that’s great, and they get on the phone and that’s where it ends for them. And it’s just hard when the involvement beyond that isn’t there.”

While spending time apart, Nikki felt like she’s had to overcompensate and take on more responsibilities at home.

“I’m doing the whole [family’s] to-do lists, Matteo’s to-do lists, the house we’re building’s to-do list,” she added. “All the to-do lists are going in my head so that just causes a little bit of tension in a relationship. … We’re doing great! It’s always innocent things that the other person doesn’t realize so you communicate with them, [but] sometimes you want them to guess [what’s wrong].”

The duo competed together on season 25 of Dancing With the Stars in 2017, while Nikki was engaged to John Cena. The wrestlers called it quits one month before their planned May 2018 wedding. She began dating Chigvintsev in January 2019, one year before announcing their engagement and Nikki’s pregnancy.

Matteo was born in July 2020, the same month Brie welcomed her second child, son Buddy, with husband Daniel Bryan. (The pair also share daughter Birdie, 4.)

Since becoming parents, Nikki has been open about how her relationship with the ballroom dancer has changed, frequently discussing their home life on her podcast. However, the Strictly Come Dancing alum isn’t always pleased to hear intimate personal details being shared.

“A lot of stuff I say makes headlines, and [he got upset when] it was something about our sex life,” Nikki exclusive told Us Weekly in October. “And I remember he showed me [a story] and he goes, ‘Really? I mean, you have to talk about all that?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, good thing. Like, I put you over [the top].’ And he goes, ‘That doesn’t matter.’ … He gets really embarrassed with all that.”

The KKW Beauty founder, 41, “is falling for” the Saturday Night Live star, 27, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, adding, “He makes her feel good and she’s excited to see what happens.”

Kardashian’s inner circle is “happy” and “eager for Kim to have fun and be free” amid her divorce from Kanye West, the insider says. The reality star is “always” left “smiling and excited” after hanging out with Davidson, who “makes her laugh,” per the source.

“Everything flows well [when they’re together],” the insider tells Us.

The twosome connected when the California native hosted SNL in October, even kissing during one of the sketches while dressed as Jasmine and Aladdin. Later that month, the duo were spotted with a group of friends at an amusement park in California before Kardashian spent time with the Guy Code alum in Staten Island, New York.

While the pair have “bumped into each other a few times through mutual friends,” their time on the NBC late-night show was “their first real one-on-one opportunity to connect,” a second source previously told Us, noting that Davidson asked the Skims CEO “to hang out” after filming the episode.

According to a third insider, Kardashian is “single and having fun at the moment,” but “things could turn romantic” between her and the Meet Cute actor.

Plenty of fans and celebs have shared their thoughts about where the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum stands with Davidson, but she has yet to address the speculation herself. The comedian, for his part, danced around a question about the rumors during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

“I’ve been wanting to talk about this,” Davidson teased during the Monday, November 8, episode. “There’s a lot of people I walk by, people are, like, whispering and making eyes at me. The Los Angeles Police Department made the surveillance video public on Monday, November 8, in an attempt to help identify the culprits of the October 27 incident. The clip shows two masked men in dark hoodies standing outside of a sliding door, appearing to map out their plan before shattering the glass and entering the home.

Footage from roughly 15 minutes later shows the men escaping with bags of items, which were estimated to be worth more than $100,000 in total.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 45, was in her Encino Hills home with children Jagger, 7, and Phoenix, 5, when the robbery took place. In a press release at the time, the LAPD noted that the Bravo personality “was in fear and complied with the suspects’ demands by directing them to valuables,” including handbags, jewelry and watches.

Kemsley addressed the situation via Instagram on October 30, thanking her friends and fans for their support as she “start[s] the healing process” with her husband, PK Kemsley.

“As you all know by now, I have been through a terrifying ordeal, one that no parent or person should ever have to experience,” she wrote in her statement. “I’ve received so many messages of love and support and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s truly overwhelming. My kids are unaware of what happened, they slept through it and I thank God for keeping my kids and myself from being physically harmed. … I have thrown myself straight back into work as I want our family to return to normality as soon as possible.”

The designer continued: “With the love and support of my husband, my incredible, family, friends, fans and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do whilst I independently work through the trauma. I’m so grateful to the LAPD for their care and attention. Thank you again for all of your support. Much love, Dorit. … More than anything, I’m feeling blessed that my kids and family are safe.”

PK, 54, previously spoke out on October 29, telling his social media followers that he flew back from the U.K. to be with his family as soon as he heard the news.

“I would like to thank you all for your kind words of support. Dorit and myself have been overwhelmed by the show of love,” the property developer wrote via Instagram. “We can’t respond to every message ( I can’t even respond to all the texts and what’s apps)…. So I wanted to tell you all that we are doing OK.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, have received well-wishes from fellow members of the Real Housewives franchise, including producer Andy Cohen.

Not holding back! Aaron Rodgers‘ controversial opinion about the coronavirus vaccine continues to spark debate among both fans and fellow stars — and Howard Stern is the latest to join the conversation.

“I was so worked up over the weekend about this f–king Aaron Rodgers of the NFL. I don’t even know where to begin with that story,” the Howard Stern Show host, 67, said on the Monday, November 8, episode of the radio broadcast. “I mean, this f–king guy. I don’t watch football, sorry. I’m not a big fan. I know the guy’s a real good football player, that’s why they put up with his bulls–t.”

The New Yorker said that Rodgers, 37, should face major consequences for seemingly lying about his vaccination status before the football season began. (Rodgers, for his part, recently asserted that he didn’t conceal the truth.)

“If there was decency in this world, I would throw this guy out of the football league so fast [for] what he did to his fellow teammates,” Stern continued. “And, you know, bravo [to] Terry Bradshaw for what you said and everyone else who’s got half a brain in this country. But this f–king guy, they should throw him out of the league so fast. … Come on, dude, really?”

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was benched during the Saturday, November 6, game after testing positive for coronavirus days prior. The NFL issued a statement at the time noting that both Rodgers and his team would be placed under review before the athlete addressed his comments from months prior about being “immunized” against the virus.

“It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie, it was the truth. … I’m somebody who’s a critical thinker. I march to the beat of my own drum,” Rodgers said during “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, November 5. “I believe strongly in bodily autonomy, [in the] ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something.”

The former Super Bowl MVP argued that there’s no “one-size-fits all [solution] for everybody” when it comes to healthcare, claiming that he sought alternative options because he’s allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna shots. When he heard concerns raised about the Johnson & Johnson version, he decided that not getting vaccinated was the “best” idea for him.

“It was not something the league didn’t know about,” the California native continued. “The league was fully aware of it upon my return to the Packers. … My medical team advised me that the danger of having an adverse event [to the vaccination] was greater than getting COVID and recovering.”

Rodgers assured listeners at the time that he was “not telling somebody to get vaccinated or not get vaccinated.” Stern, however, believed the comments were irresponsible — especially coming from someone with such a big platform.

“You know that whole bulls–t game [of], ‘Yeah, I have the antibodies.’ I don’t know where these guys get their information from,” the former America’s Got Talent judge said on Monday. “At the press conference, he said he got his information from Joe Rogan. With all due respect … I don’t know what has happened to this country.”

Unlike Stern, some celebrities have been more supportive of Rodgers’ take, including Carrie Underwood‘s husband, Mike Fisher, who noted via Instagram, “I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience.”

Speaking out. Emilio Estevez addressed speculation surrounding his exit from Mighty Ducks: Game Changers, clarifying that he doesn’t hold anti-vaccine views.

The 59-year-old Outsiders star told Deadline on Monday, November 8, that his decision was “nothing more than a good old fashioned contract dispute” and “a myriad of creative differences,” while also noting that he previously contracted COVID-19 last year.

“I am not anti-vaxx. Full stop,” Estevez said in his lengthy statement. “I take this pandemic very seriously, and I am often teased about my continued following of the safety protocols and my abundance of caution. … While I can’t speak for anyone else in regards to this polarizing, sensitive issue, I have my own lived experience.”

Martin Sheen‘s son recalled not feeling well in February 2020 after filming the pilot for the Disney+ series, which premiered earlier this year. He claimed that he had “already started wearing face coverings, gloves and using hand sanitizer” when he made the drive to Vancouver when production began “due to news of ‘an emerging disease,’ which would eventually be known as ‘Covid 19.'”

While driving back to California, he “became noticeably ill” and “begged several doctors to be tested” for coronavirus.

“After multiple efforts, I finally received a car side Covid 19 PCR test on March 13, 2020. I continued to become increasingly sick, suffering from fever, sweats, brain fog and mood swings,” the Breakfast Club actor continued. “On March 17, 2020 I got word I had indeed contracted Covid 19. Thankfully I refrained from visiting my elderly parents and others until I received my results. I had discussions with doctors and contact tracing personnel from the L.A. County Department of Health. I suffered the summer and fall of 2020 from what we now know as ‘Long Haul Syndrome.'”

Upon returning to the Mighty Ducks series last summer, Estevez “reluctantly soldiered on” with work, but said he “was uncertain about how I would be safe on set.” Though he “questioned the wisdom” of filming “in the middle of a pandemic,” the star alleged that he was “repeatedly told” by producers, “You have natural immunity! You’ll be the safest one on set.”

Estevez continued, “So I returned to Vancouver. I followed the Canadian quarantine mandate as well as the strict ‘Zone A’ on set Covid protocols. I did not complain, nor did I release my diagnosis to the public. I wanted to try and preserve the show morale and be a leader, however, while still suffering from Long Haul Syndrome. The legacy of the franchise was more important to me than my own health. In retrospect, I wrongly chose to protect the show over being transparent about having contracted Covid-19.”

Us Weekly confirmed on Friday, November 5, that Estevez would not be returning to the Mighty Ducks spinoff for its second season. Deadline reported at the time that the show required all actors and crew to be vaccinated against COVID-19. However, the St. Elmo’s Fire star asserted on Monday that his departure was due to being “anti-bully,” not anti-vaccine.

“To the fans of the franchise — I am as disappointed as you are. To my Ducks cast and crew — have a wonderful Season 2 on the show and please know that I will miss you all,” he concluded. “It was an honor and a thrill to be able to return as the iconic and beloved character, Gordon Bombay, a character which has been a celebrated benchmark in my 40-year career. And I thank the studio and the producers for creating an opportunity to allow me to visit him again. Ducks Fly Together!”

Perfectly platonic? Katie Thurston seemingly responded to comments about her close bond with Bachelorette‘s John Hersey — but her answer still has fans guessing about where they stand.

The 30-year-old Washington native has remained good friends with the 27-year-old bartender despite sending him home during week two of her Bachelorette season, which concluded earlier this year. After sharing a throwback video of “the first time I saw John since filming” via her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 7, Thurston followed up with another coy photo.

“Y’all getting wild in my DMs,” she wrote alongside a laughing emoji. The Instagram Story upload featured individual Polaroid photos of the BFFs, one of which showed Thurston shielding her face with playing cards.

The former ABC personalities have spent plenty of time together since wrapping the reality dating series, frequently sharing footage from their hangouts on social media. Before Blake Moynes proposed during the season finale in August, some followers were convinced that sparks were flying between Thurston and Hersey.

“Internet rumors lead me to this guy becoming a dear dear friend,” the season 25 Bachelor alum joked via Instagram in September after a day out with Hersey in California.

When the bank marketing manager and the wildlife consultant, 31, announced in October that they had called off their engagement, fans were quick to ship her with Hersey.

“Hope you’re more than friends now!!!🙌❤️,” one user commented on Thurston’s September photos with the California native, while another teased that it “won’t be long” until a romance blooms between them.

Fans continued to wonder about the pair’s status when Thurston appeared to share a pic of Hersey’s dog via her Instagram Story in the wake of her breakup from Moynes. “Dexter forcing me out of the house this morning,” she wrote alongside the October snap.

Days later, she posted a photo of a bouquet of flowers sent from a friend with a note that read, “These are not romantic flowers. These are happy flowers. Because … I want you to be happy,” which many believed to be from Hersey.

Since she and the Canadian went their separate ways, Thurston recently revealed that they “still stay in touch” and “support each other.” She also defended the “authenticity” of their whirlwind relationship in an emotional social media post.

“We were together for six months [and] Blake and I are very level-headed and mature, and we communicate very well on our thoughts,” she explained via Instagram on October 31. “And we just both knew if this was how our first six months was as a couple, going forward it was going to not be in our best interest for our happiness to stay together. … Obviously, a public relationship ending is a really sh—ty thing to have to navigate, but you guys have been very kind and supportive and I wanted to say thank you for being that way to me and to Blake.”

She concluded at the time, “At the end of the day your happiness is what’s important and if something is taking that away from you — and that’s not even a dig at Blake, it’s just a dig at what him and I were as partners — then we owe it to each other to step away, so that’s what we’re doing.”

Moynes, for his part, noted in an Instagram post of his own that the split was “really tough” to work through, writing on November 1, “Feels good to start getting back into the swing of things.”

Weighing in. Carrie Underwood‘s husband, Mike Fisher, spoke out in defense of Aaron Rodgers following his controversial comments about the coronavirus vaccine.

“I stand with @aaronrodgers12 I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience,” the hockey player, 41, wrote in a lengthy Instagram statement on Saturday, November 6, one day after Rodgers, 37, addressed his unvaccinated status. “I agree with him in that the science clearly shows the vaccinated spread covid at basically the same rate as the unvaccinated. The @nhl @nfl and other leagues are ignoring the science and choosing to coerce and punish unvaccinated players with these restrictions. If they really cared about people’s health they would have daily testing for all.”

Fisher claimed that the response to the COVID-19 crisis since it began in early 2020 has shown “that this is not about our health, it’s about control over our lives,” in particular when it comes to the conversation about vaccines.

“I won’t stand for that. It’s time to fight for our medical freedom and I feel for those that have been fired for choosing medical freedom,” he continued. “People losing their jobs over a medical choice is un-American and unacceptable. We need to stand up now before it’s too late!! #medicalfreedom #istandwithaaronrodgers.”

Jason Aldean‘s wife, Brittany Aldean, supported Fisher in the comments section, adding, “💯🇺🇸👏🏼.”

Underwood, 38, didn’t appear to comment on her husband’s post. However, the “Before He Cheats” singer previously took heat for “liking” an anti-mask tweet in August. The pair share sons Isaiah, 6, and Jacob, 2.

Fisher’s support for Rodgers came shortly after the Green Bay Packers quarterback confirmed that he chose to seek alternative options to the COVID-19 shot. Rodgers was suspended from playing with his team on Sunday, November 7, after testing positive for the virus days prior, despite previously telling reporters that he had been “immunized” before the NFL season started.

“It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie, it was the truth. Had there been a follow-up to my statement that I’d been immunized, I would have responded with this. I would have said, ‘Look, I’m not some sort of anti-vax-flat-Earther. I’m somebody who’s a critical thinker,'” the former Super Bowl MVP said on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Friday, November 5. “I march to the beat of my own drum. I believe strongly in bodily autonomy, [in the] ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something.”

Rodgers claimed that there was a “witch hunt” mentality within the league, whose protocols labeled the California native as unvaccinated even after he presented officials with “500 pages of research” in support of his position. He also noted that along with having a known allergy to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, he was concerned about potential negative side effects.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback, 37, addressed his one-game suspension during the Friday, November 5, episode of “The Pat McAfee Show,” noting that he’s “doing really well” as he recovers from coronavirus. While asserting that he “didn’t lie” about his vaccination record before the NFL season began, Rodgers explained that he had some questions about the medicine’s possible side effects.

Rodgers firmly asserted that he’s “not some sort of anti-vax, flat-earther” person. However, he was concerned about getting the mRNA vaccine because of a known allergy.

“On the CDC’s own website, it says should you have an allergy to any of these ingredients, you should not get one of the MRNA vaccines,” the former Super Bowl MVP continued, noting that the only option left for him was the Johnson & Johnson shot, which he heard caused “some really difficult times and physical abnormalities” in certain patients.

The NFL confirmed on Wednesday, November 3, that the sports association would “be reviewing the matter with the Packers” after multiple outlets reported that Rodgers had contracted COVID-19. The news raised eyebrows among fans because Rodgers had previously referred to himself as being “immunized” against the virus in August.

“It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie; it was the truth,” he said of his past comments on Friday, reflecting on the “witch hunt” situation that he saw within the league. “I’m somebody who’s a critical thinker. I march to the beat of my own drum. I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something. Rodgers announced his engagement to Woodley, 29, in February and revealed one month later that he had “always dreamt about” starting a family.

“I’m in that age group where a lot of my close friends from high school and college are fathers now and have families of their own,” he said during an Instagram Live with Zenith Watches’ CEO Julien Tornare. “It’s maybe not in the immediate future but definitely something that I really look forward to. … I’m really excited about that chapter whenever that comes.”

Breaking his silence. Aaron Rodgers is speaking out after being suspended from playing football due to his positive coronavirus test.

“I’m doing really well,” the 37-year-old athlete said during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, November 5, claiming he “didn’t lie” about his initial vaccination status going into the 2021 NFL season.

In a lengthy diatribe, the Green Bay Packers quarterback explained that early on in the year he said he was “immunized,” which unfortunately led to some fans thinking he was being misleading.

“It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie, it was the truth. Had there been a follow-up to my statement that I’d been immunized, I would have responded with this: I would have said, ‘Look, I’m not some sort of anti-vax-flat-Earther. I’m somebody who’s a critical thinker,’” Rodgers continued. “I march to the beat of my own drum. I believe strongly in bodily autonomy, [in the] ability to make choices for your body, not to have to aquacise to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something.”

The former Jeopardy! host said multiple times that “health is not a one-size-fits all for everybody,” which is why he did a lot of research and studying about the vaccine choices during the off season.

“I have an allergy to an ingredient that’s in the mRNA vaccines. On the CDC’s own website, it says, ‘Should you have an allergy to any of these ingredients, you should not get one of the mRNA vaccines.’ So those two were out already,” he explained of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine choices. “So, my only option was Johnson & Johnson. At this time, in the early spring, I had heard of multiple people who had adverse events around getting [that shot]. [Then] in April, [it] got pulled for clotting issues. So, the J&J shot was not even an option at that point.”

Rodgers noted that he looked into other options to “protect” himself and his teammates, which is when he found an “immunization protocol” that was a long-term solution.

“We felt like what was best for me. It was not something the league didn’t know about,” the NFL MVP explained. “The league was fully aware of it upon my return to the Packers.”

He had to petition the league to get his specific immunization protocol approved, but they said, “No, you’ll be in the unvaccinated category.” Rodgers chose to appeal the ruling and gathered “500 pages of research,” but was still unsuccessful.

As a result, Rodgers has been going through the season as an “unvaccinated person,” according to league standards. He has to wear a yellow wristband “at all times,” which makes it clear that he is unvaccinated and was tested daily per the NFL’s rules.

“I have followed every protocol,” he claimed, noting that he wakes up at 5: 00 a.m. for 12 p.m. games to get tested. The California native must then wait in his car for the results.

He has kept his distance from his team, which is required, including solo travel to games and not staying in a room with any teammates.

“My desire to immunize myself was what was best to my body, which is why this is so important to me,” Rodgers continued. “My medical team advised me that the danger of having an adverse event [to the vaccination] was greater than getting COVID and recovering. I’m not telling somebody to get vaccinated or not get vaccinated.”

He concluded that he’s “not selfish” despite what some people may think. “Personal health decisions should be private,” Rodgers added. “The shaming and the outing … Everyone has their own story. This shamming, cancel society, that is wrong.”

News broke on Wednesday, November 3, that the football player would miss the Green Bay Packers’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs that Saturday after he contracted COVID-19.

“The primary responsibility for enforcement of the COVID-19 protocols within club facilities rests with each club,” a spokesperson for the league noted in a statement on Wednesday. “Failure to properly enforce the protocols has resulted in discipline being assessed against individual clubs in the past. The league is aware of the current situation in Green Bay and will be reviewing the matter with the Packers.”

The former University of California, Berkley player will not be able to return to the field until November 13 following a 10-day quarantine period, in accordance with the NFL’s rules for unvaccinated players. He must not show any symptoms before he plays again.

Earlier this year, Rodgers told reporters during a press conference that he was “immunized,” seemingly dodging a question about his personal vaccination status. At the time, he weighed in on the widespread “conversation around” the issue among other players and team owners.

“There’s guys on the team that haven’t been vaccinated,” he said in August. “I think it’s a personal decision. I’m not going to judge those guys. There are guys that’ve been vaccinated that have contracted COVID. It’s an interesting issue that I think we’re going to see played out the entire season.”

Rodgers’ place on the Packers roster was up in the air after he missed the team’s training camp over the summer. As his relationship with fiancée Shailene Woodley continues to spark interest, the former Super Bowl MVP fired back at claims that he hasn’t been giving the sport his all this season.

“On one hand, it’s absolute horses–t to give a platform to people who have no idea what they’re talking about as far as my mental state and, you know, my focus, my work habits,” he said on The Pat McAfee Show in September. “People that have not been around me, that aren’t in my life. Doing her best. Suni Lee gave fans an update on how she’s feeling after she got sick and ran out of the Dancing With the Stars ballroom on Queen night.

“Could def be better,” the Olympian, 18, replied during an Instagram Q&A on Thursday, November 4, when a follower asked how her mental health is holding up. “But it’s just a lot on my plate all at one time & a lot of things ppl don’t know about.”

The gymnast, who’s currently enrolled at Auburn University while competing on season 30 of the ABC dance series, later outlined a day in her life. “Usually after show days I’m ahead in school,” she wrote via her Instagram Story. “So gymnastics 10-1 [and] DWTS 3:30-6:30.”

Lee rehearses and performs in Los Angeles with pro partner Sasha Farber, and told fans on Thursday that she “can’t wait to be back” on the Alabama school’s campus.

The gold medalist had DWTS viewers worried when she ran off the stage on Monday, November 1, holding her stomach after dancing the paso doble. After she returned to perform the relay dance, Farber, 37, explained what went down.

“I think it was probably the hardest week I’ve ever had on Dancing With the Stars,” the Russia native told Us Weekly and other reporters after Monday’s show. “The poor girl started to feel really sick on Tuesday, and it got worse and worse. We had to miss rehearsals. Today was actually the first time she did the relay because she couldn’t do it last night. I danced with a mannequin [in rehearsals].”

Lee “vomited in her mouth and tears started to come out” shortly before the duo took the stage, Farber recalled. “I was like, ‘Suni, you’ve got this. Come on. This is game time.’ And she turned around and she was, like, holding it in, and she held it in for a minute 35 and then the second the dance was over, she ran to a trashcan.”

The athlete powered through the rest of the night with “the power of the other pros and celebrities cheering” her on during the relays. Farber told Us that he did everything he could to ease Lee’s mind, adding, “I’m like, ‘Let’s just chill. We got this. You don’t have to rehearse. I’m going to go extra slow. I’ve got you. I want all your worries, like, let me worry. You just hold on and hold your breath. Don’t throw up on me, and we got this.'”

Farber, who was previously paired with Simone Biles in 2017, later gushed over Lee in a supportive Instagram post.

Before the Jonas Brothers made it big, Kevin and Danielle met while both their families were vacationing in the Caribbean. At the time, Danielle had no idea that she had just met a member of what would become one of the biggest bands of the early 2000s. The “Year 3000” performer got Danielle’s number from her older sister — and stopped at nothing to make a connection.

“You know how you’re supposed to meet somebody and call like two or three days later?” Kevin said during an interview with Glamour magazine in August 2012. “Well, I cyberstalked her after we met and cyberstalked to see what flight she was going to be on coming home, and then I called her the minute she landed. That might have been a little overboard, but I just went for it.”

While his drastic effort might have been “a little much,” the former Disney Channel star thought it was worth the risk. “It worked out in my favor, right?” he told the publication.

The duo eventually hit it off and tied the knot in Long Island, New York, in December 2009. They share two daughters: Alena Rose, born in February 2014, and Valentina Angelina, born in October 2016. The Hills: New Beginnings star, 36, shared the news with fans in an emotional YouTube video on Wednesday, November 3, noting that she’s felt particularly “stressed and overwhelmed” in recent weeks — and for good reason.

“I’m currently seven weeks pregnant, which is supposed to be obviously really exciting, and it has been up until yesterday,” Port explained, struggling to hold back tears beside her husband. “I have been going to the doctor and monitoring it because of my history with miscarriages. I’ve had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. And everything was looking good up until yesterday.”

Port went for a routine ultrasound and her doctor told her “whatever was happening in there was not where it was supposed to be, given the week that I’m at.” She noted that the specialist was “an amazing, sensitive, sweet guy,” despite the fact that he was “pessimistic about this pregnancy.”

The fashion designer’s OB-GYN recommended that she get bloodwork done, the results of which she’ll be receiving soon. Given her past fertility struggles, Port told fans that she’s worried “this is likely another unhealthy pregnancy.”

She added: “It’s such a huge part of our lives right now, and it affects everything, physically and mentally and everything that we do. And it just felt like an opportunity to just share it, because I couldn’t just sit here and go on with my life and not share it. And I know that there’s likely so many people out there that have had to deal with this.”

Rosenman sat quietly at his wife’s side as she continued to share their journey. The pair, who tied the knot in 2015, are “extremely grateful” for their 4-year-old boy, Sonny, but have been trying to have another child for quite some time.

“Everything else is really wonderful,” Port said. “But I definitely feel just scared for myself and my confidence and my self-worth and what this means for that, and also for not being able to give this family what I think would be the best for it.”

The True Whit author credited hormones for causing her “very complicated” emotions, adding, “I still feel very, very pregnant, my boobs are very sore and I’m extremely hungry and just very achy, but I obviously don’t know what’s going on inside my body.”

Port and the producer welcomed their son in July 2017. Two years later, the reality star suffered a miscarriage, followed by another pregnancy loss in January. While she’s gone through so many tough times, Port is willing to keep trying.

“We don’t have any kind of plan more than that right now,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “[We’re] hoping that [baby No. 2] can happen naturally. We’ll see how it goes. I’m trying to do this new thing where I don’t give answers about something that I don’t know the answer to yet … because then I’m feeling bad about myself [since] I don’t know the answer. So, like, yes, adoption, I’m 100 percent open to it. But I’m not at that point yet.”

After the Saturday Night Live star, 27, was spotted on multiple New York City outings with the Skims CEO, 41, one social media user stepped up in his defense. “I love how every time Pete Davidson starts dating another beautiful celebrity everyone’s like ‘wtf is happening how did he do this what is this mystery???’ and everybody refuses to entertain the possibility that he might have a nice personality,” writer Kristen Mulrooney tweeted on Monday, November 1.

The social media post was later shared by the Instagram account TalkThirtyToMe — and eagle-eyed users noticed that Beckinsale, 48, dropped a “like.”

Davidson was briefly linked to the Serendipity actress in early 2019 following the end of his four-month engagement to Ariana Grande. After the comedian and the U.K. native were spotted together at several Golden Globes afterparties, a source told Us Weekly that Beckinsale “likes young guys who make her laugh,” making Davidson “exactly her type.”

The whirlwind romance fizzled out after only a few months, with an insider telling Us in May 2019 that the pair’s bond had developed “more friendly of a vibe [than] romantic.”

The relationship certainly caught fans off guard — and even Davidson’s family members were impressed that he worked his charm on the “legendary” star.

“All of my uncles freaked out,” the Set It Up star told Charlamagne Tha God in February 2020, calling Beckinsale “one of the funniest people I’ve ever met.”

At the time, the New Yorker admitted that the timing just wasn’t right for him and the “superstar” Underworld actress, who has often clapped back at those who question her preference for younger men.

“Every relationship I have had has been solely to annoy you,” she teased in July 2020 after an Instagram troll said she should stop “dating guys that could be your children.”

In addition to his relationships with Beckinsale and Grande, 28, the King of Staten Island star has dated Kaia Gerber, Cazzie David and Margaret Qualley. Last month, he sent fans into a frenzy when he was photographed with Kardashian at an amusement park in California.

“They are just friends right now, but things could turn romantic. … Kim is single and having fun at the moment,” a source told Us of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum, who enjoyed a private dinner with Davidson in Staten Island on Tuesday, November 2, before they were spotted at Zero Bond in Manhattan the following day.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February after six years of marriage. The estranged pair share children North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.

Lucky in love! Devin Booker gave fans a rare glimpse of his relationship with Kendall Jenner as the model celebrated her 26th birthday.

“Most beautiful woman,” the 25-year-old NBA athlete wrote via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, November 3, alongside a photo of the pair smiling as they sat around a dinner table.

Booker later shared a second photo of the twosome getting cozy in matching hoodies. He added an emoji of a padlock to the snap, which featured him with his arms wrapped around Jenner from behind.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum also received birthday wishes from her family members on Wednesday, including her mom, Kris Jenner, who posted a handful of throwback photos from Kendall’s childhood.

“Happy happiest birthday to my amazing, kind, caring, compassionate, smart, gorgeous, intelligent, loving, brilliant, genuine, beautiful inside and out, coolest, most stylish daughter @kendalljenner who has the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile and who lights up every room she walks into!!!!” the momager, 65, captioned the slideshow. “Kenny, you light up my life every single day and I am so proud of you!! Kylie Jenner, for her part, gushed over her “partner in crime” and “best friend” in a social media tribute of her own. “I wouldn’t want to walk through life with anyone else. I love you forever horsegirlkj 🐴🤎,” the pregnant reality star, 24, wrote.

Kendall celebrated her birthday with a star-studded bash in Los Angeles on Sunday, October 31. The costume party was attended by Kim Kardashian, French Montana, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), per Vogue, but Booker didn’t appear to be there alongside his girlfriend.

Us Weekly confirmed in June 2020 that Kendall was “hooking up” with the Phoenix Suns player, two months after they were spotted together in Arizona. The pair have kept their relationship relatively private ever since, but “care about one another immensely,” a source told Us in March.

“But it’s not like they will be getting engaged any time soon,” the insider noted at the time. “Kendall likes the pace at which things are going at the moment and has no plans to elevate things so quickly.”
