Starry eyed! Yellowstone beauty Kelsey Asbille stepped out to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chanel No.5 at the star-studded Chanel No.5 In the Stars event at New York City’s Rockefeller Center on Nov. 5, 2021, and her bold makeup reflected the monumental occasion.

To pay homage to the first scent created by a woman, the actress, 30, wore a black wool tweed cropped jacket from the French fashion house’s Fall-Winter 2021-22 Ready-to-Wear collection with a black silk jumpsuit and paired the chic outfit with a major makeup look. “I wanted to pay tribute to Chanel No.5’s iconic past, and bring a little drama and glamour to the makeup,” the star tells Us. So she turned to beauty guru Hung Vanngo to design the maquillage. “He is such a brilliant artist and the perfect collaborator to experiment with such a bold, yet playful look,” Asbille says.

“For the hair and makeup tonight, we wanted to give Kelsey an updated version of a ‘60s-inspired look,” Vanngo tells Us. He relied on the brand’s limited edition Les Ombres No.5 Quadra Eyeshadow palette for the wild eyes, though the expert says the shades in the compact “are neutral, not loud.”

While the two got ready at downtown celebrity magnet The Bowery Hotel, Vanngo balanced the lids by paring down the color on the rest of Asbille’s face. “Since the eye makeup is dark and strong, I kept the skin fresh, not using a heavy foundation, plus softer blush and a soft, creamy lip color.” Indeed, he applied Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation Hydration on the t-zone before dusting cheeks with Joues Contraste in Ombre. On her pout: Rouge Allure Lacque in Still, pressed into lips.

Follow the transformation below, then use this gorgeous look as inspo for your holiday big nights out!

Glam slam! The stars of television rocked their finest looks on Sunday, September 19, for the 73rd Emmy Awards. While the event had a limited red carpet, we were still wowed by the gorgeous hair and makeup seen IRL and virtually — not to mention the fashion! See every stunning outfit here.

The red carpet is our favorite moment of the night, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, some stars were first seen in a virtual press room rather than in front of a bank of paparazzi. Unlike last year’s show where almost every nominee appeared virtually (relive the looks here!), the 2021 show boasted a mix of nominees and presenters showing off their gorgeous looks at the venue or from afar. Still, all looked spectacular!

Take, for instance, Keri Russell, who hit the red carpet with a voluminous updo and pumped-up neutral makeup. And Mandy Moore, whose chic and sexy high ponytail is something to replicate for every date night! Then there was Catherine Zeta-Jones, who’s here to prove that women in Hollywood age just like fine wine — they get better as they get older! Was it a coincidence that Zeta-Jones rocked a merlot lip? We think not!

Clearly, the biggest hair trend was loose locks. From MJ Rodriguez’s long mermaid locks to Jennifer Coolidge’s Old Hollywood sleek waves, sexy, lengthy strands are in! We also loved the trend of red carpet ponytails, including Kaley Cuoco’s swingy low-slung pony as well as Moore’s flirty high one.

The makeup was also covetable. Rosewood stole the show as the look more stars leaned into than any other, and the neutral shade is anything but basic. We loved the shade on Elizabeth Olsen, Kathryn Hahn and Keri Russell, just to name a few stars.

Scroll through to see all of the hottest hair and makeup moments of the night! And if you’re jonesing for a full-on major red carpet, take a stroll down recent memory lane and check out every wild, theatrical look at last week’s Met Gala.

Fantastic fashion! It may not be the first Monday in May, but the Met Gala is back and sartorial celebrities look more fabulous than ever. See every red carpet look here!

On September 13, 2021, A-list style stars hit the red carpet at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute benefit to raise money for the institute and celebrate this year’s exhibition: In America, A Lexicon of Fashion. The show is Part One of a two-part study in the power of American Fashion, Part Two to take place during the first half of 2022, pandemic permitting, of course.

The hosts for the event are a young Hollywood bonanza of individuality and expression of personal style, including music phenom Billie Eilish, whose looks never fail to wow, poet Amanda Gorman, tennis champion and mental health activist Naomi Osaka and gender-bending style star, actor Timothée Chalamet (who last made red carpet waves at the premiere of Dune at the Venice Film Festival.)

As soon as the red carpet opened, our jaws collectively dropped when we saw Keke Palmer’s entrance and her chic brushed out locks. We also loved Julia Garner‘s bouncy curls, Emma Chamberlain‘s bold smoky lids and Amanda Gorman‘s bejeweled lids.

Scroll through to check out every bodacious beauty moment at the 2021 Met Gala! (And if you’d like to take a walk down memory lane — and really, who doesn’t? — relive the best beauty looks at the 2019 Gala, Camp: Notes on Fashion, and the 2018 event, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and. The Catholic Imagination!)

Glam for good! The A-list hit Capri, Italy for the LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF gala on July 31, 2021 and they looked beyond gorgeous!

It’s no wonder, as celebs including Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Vanessa Hudgens, Dylan Penn and Karolina Kurkova were treated to a beauty bonanza including a next-level facial, hair and makeup services and a welcome bag brimming with prestige products.

Upon arrival to the beautiful isle of Capri, the stars found goody bags waiting in their hotel rooms packed with Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri scented candles, chic oral care by vVartis like an innovative whitening gel and toothpaste loaded with healing edelweiss, scented lipsticks by Kilian Paris and tony skincare from Augustinus Bader, including the cult-favorite moisturizer, The Rich Cream, as well as The Cleansing Balm, The Lip Balm and The Body Oil, all powered by the brand’s proprietary TFC8 technology.

Speaking of Augustinus Bader, guests were also invited to get the brand’s upcoming salon facial. In a suite at the famed Grand Hotel Quisisana overlooking the Faraglioni rocks, skincare pro Lord Gavin McLeod Valentine (listen to his episode of Us Weekly’s Glam Squad Confidential podcast here) tended to luminaries’ complexions. The gentle treatment, a perfect in-real-time way to prep for a big night out, included a deep cleanse followed by rigorous facial massage aided by Augustinus Bader The Face Oil. To further lift cheekbones, Valentine finished with the Contour Kinetic Skin Toning Device.

Next up: VIPs hit a showroom at the Quisisana with racks and racks of designer frocks (all available on luisaviaroma‘s luxury fashion site) that they could wear to the gala. Notables need not worry about fit — an expert seamstress was at the ready to make alterations in minutes!

As for hair and makeup, actors, influencers and models got glam thanks to on-site stations by BeautyLivery, an on-demand beauty service native to the Amalfi coast. The star products: makeup by Nars and Kilian Paris, including the brand’s new Liquid Ultra Matte lipstick formula. Kurkova wore shade Rouge Immortel, as did Rose Bertram, while Ann-Sophie Thieme rocked Prohibited Rouge. Hair was styled using products by The Ouai and Acqua di Parma Barbiere.

All in all, the event was a beautiful affair. While guests noshed on delicious food including caprese salad, pasta Nerano and fish with escarole by famed eatery Aurora, John Legend and Katy Perry performed (including a surprise duet of Moonriver.) Perhaps the most beautiful moment, though, was the over 5 million euro raised for UNICEF!

Red hot red carpet! The 93rd Academy Awards took place on Sunday, April 25, from two venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic — at Union Station and Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Two venues meant two red carpets (and some stars attended virtually, sharing their looks via social media.) Regardless, the A-list brought their style A-game! Check out every look here.

Unlike last year’s red carpet (which was all kinds of spectacular), the 2021 show offered a variety of ways to appreciate our favorite stars’ stunning hair and makeup. There were many winning looks, and speaking of winners, check out who nabbed a statue in each category here!

Now… back to beauty! Viola Davis, Maria Bakalova and Tiara Thomas took our breath away!

Clearly, the biggest hair trend was… anything goes! We loved the elaborate braided look Thomas wore, wowed over Marlee Matlin’s retro-fabulous wave and loved Chloe Zhao’s low-key braids.

And how about the gorgeous makeup! Standout looks include Davis’ colorful makeup including a pop of coral on the lips and all of the purple hues seen on the red carpet such as Thomas’ plum lips and Emerald Fennell’s lavender lids. Purple everything is a trend we’ll be wearing well into summer!

Scroll through to see all of the hottest hair and makeup moments of the night! And if you’re jonesing for the crowded red carpets of the past, take a stroll down memory lane and check out last year’s top looks here!

The 2021 Academy Awards are coming! But before there were the Oscars, there were many, many events in the lives of nominees, including Renée Zellweger.

Zellweger has been a sunny blonde most of her career, though there was a moment when she went over to the dark side and dyed her hair a deep chocolate hue. She’s had short hair and long locks and was one of the first in Hollywood to make bobs and lobs cool. The 50-year-old actress leans towards super neutral makeup, staying true to rosy nude lips and cheeks except for a couple of notable classic movie star moments when she wore red carpet-red lips! She’s made many hair and makeup choices through the years, but one thing’s for sure: Zellweger has morphed from cute to confident.

The Texas-born actress made her film debut in Dazed and Confused and appeared in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but she became a Hollywood darling after a starring role in Jerry Maguire opposite Tom Cruise. As an ingenue, she wowed crowds with her sweet and spunky personality and looks.

Then came the Bridget Jones’s Diary years, when it was reported that Zellweger had to gain about 30 pounds to play the title character. She shed the weight, then put it on again just four years later for a sequel. She left the public eye for a bit, and we missed her on the red carpet.

More recently, she recaptured the spotlight, thanks to her turn playing the titular role in Judy, a Judy Garland biopic. Zellweger impressed Us through the 2020 awards season, taking home a statuette at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Critic’s Choice Awards, BAFTAs and Oscars. She stunned on the red carpet, in well-fitting, glamorous gowns and decidedly elegant hair and makeup. We can’t wait to see what she wears on the 2021 Oscars red carpet!

Keep scrolling to take a walk down memory lane and see how Renée Zellweger‘s look has evolved.

Glam slam! The 78th Golden Globe Awards may look a bit different this year, but the show still brought Us some seriously incredible celebrity style!

On Sunday, February 28, the annual event, which kicks off awards season for the stars of television and film, took place at multiple venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though most A-listers, including nominees, tuned in from their homes, presenters hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and the Rainbow Room in New York City, and there was no shortage of fabulous fashion.

As always, a handful of stars stood out, including Angela Bassett, Regina King, Amanda Seyfried, Andra Day, and Elle Fanning, who wowed us with a creative take on big night out dressing.

Amanda Seyfried. Courtesy of Amanda Seyfried/Instagram

Seyfried blew Us away in a custom Oscar de la Renta coral number.
Proving she’s not afraid to make a statement, Bassett stunned in a deep purple Oscar de la Renta gown. The asymmetrical dress featured feather embellishments along the thigh high slit and around one shoulder. The Black Panther star accessorized her look with Graziela jewels and an extra-long braided pony.

4) Regina King

King was a sparkly vision during the Golden Globes, wearing a metallic Louis Vuitton dress with a black shoulder cut out. The custom asymmetric cape gown was made with silver and gold sequins as well as crystals. Her sparkly number was paired with Forevermark jewelry, adding more bling to the already glitzy ensemble.

3) Amanda Seyfried

Rocking the open décolletage trend that was all over tonight’s red carpet, Seyfried stunned in a coral Oscar de la Renta gown embroidered with custom taffeta silk flowers around the shoulders. Her look was completed with 22.78 carats of Forevermark jewelry.

Time to get glam! The 78th Golden Globe Awards took place on Sunday, February 28, from two venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic — at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles and the Rainbow Room in New York City. While presenters hit the red carpet, most nominees appeared virtually. Regardless, the A-list brought their style A-game! Check out every look here.

Unlike last year’s red carpet (which was all kinds of spectacular!), the 2021 show offered a variety of ways to appreciate our favorite stars’ stunning hair and makeup. There were many winning looks, and speaking of winners, check out who took a statue home in each category here!

Now… back to beauty! Take, for instance Sarah Hyland‘s stunning look which was flawless from head to toe. We’re also obsessed with Kaley Cuoco‘s updated neutral makeup and Laverne Cox‘s beyond-bold lips!

Clearly, the biggest hair trend is retro Hollywood. We loved Jane Levy‘s ’40-inspired Veronica Lake waves and Hyland’s big barrel curls updated with a center part and her new strawberry bronde hue! Sleek updos are also having a moment, as seen on Shira Haas and with Elle Fanning‘s ballet bun.

The makeup was also gorgeous. Standout looks include Cuoco’s dusty rose eyeshadow with matching lips, Cox’s burgundy pout and Levy’s bold red lips.

Scroll through to see all of the hottest hair and makeup moments of the night! And if you’re jonesing for the crowded red carpets of the past, take a stroll down memory lane and check out last year’s looks here!

Warmer weather is coming! And with the longer days of Spring, we’re ready to rock more carefree looks. Take the guesswork out of getting dressed for the new season by stocking up on the key style staples of the moment — we’ve rounded up the pieces to invest in now!

Prepare to wear cute and comfortable clothes, including the hottest new denim trends, easy, breezy dresses that can be layered, and, of course, transition pieces that will help reinvent what you already have in your closet.

When it comes to denim, this Spring is all about colored styles, including khaki, and everyone’s favorite, white jeans. Believe it or not, white jeans flatter everyone and elevate any top you pair with them. High-waisted bodies are also sticking around — great news, as a high rise helps whittle the waist and sculpt hips, as well as offering serious comfort when you’re sitting all day on zoom meetings.

It’s also the perfect time to invest in a dress or two. One-piece wonders, airy frocks offer an instant style statement on their own, or they can be worn with your winter long-sleeve henley underneath or topped with a blazer or jacket. For 2021, we’re loving sweatshirt-style numbers, which extend your WFH vibe into a sweet, warm-weather appropriate look. Floral dresses are also big this year and go from March, with tights, combat booties and a denim jacket, to May, accessorized with your favorite sandals. The look right now has smocked detailing, for a lengthening look. If you’re not a “dress person,” snag a flirty, frilly miniskirt. Choose one with ruffles, an of-the-moment street style trend inspired by the red carpet!

Perhaps the best closet upgrade to add now is outerwear. Toppers of all shapes and sizes add instant interest to your look and help maximize the versatility of all of your other clothes. What to buy now: A chic raincoat in a pop of color to brighten your look — and your mood! — and a trusty jean jacket. A cropped denim jacket looks fresh right now and also complements the silhouette of high-waisted pants.

Scroll through to see 9 perfect pieces to scoop up now!

Here’s a bright idea: Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and there’s no better time to get a glow up — and keep that radiance going all through February!

Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrating love and whether you’re having a candlelit dinner with your romantic partner or a zoom session with all of your besties, a clear, luminous complexion is a surefire confidence booster! “We can tell a lot about a person based on their skin,” says celebrity dermatologist Dr. Dendy Engelman of Shafer Clinic. “Glowing, healthy skin is linked to youth and vitality.”

The most important product that Engelman says will help maintain great skin is a daily application of sunscreen. “It’s an everyday must,” she advises. “No matter the temperature outside, UVA and UVB rays are at work to stress our skin’s DNA.” Even if you plan to be inside until sundown, the New York City-based doctor suggests applying at least an SPF 30, and higher if you’ll be outside. She prefers a mineral based formula, such as EltaMD’s UV Clear SPF 46.

For a special occasion, like Valentine’s Day, an at-home peel can help you reveal smoother, more even-toned skin. Dr. Engelman, who treats A-listers including Sofia Vergara and Christina Ricci, suggests using one “that is guaranteed to self-neutralize so that there’s no chance of irritation.” She suggests Glo Skin Beauty’s Retinol + C Smoothing Peel in a Box. “The brightening vitamin C, niacinamide and hydroxy acids improve skin clarity while exfoliating via the retinol and multi-acid combination in 30 minutes,” she says.

After exfoliating, infuse nutrients by wearing a sheet mask. Many, like Knesko’s Nano Gold Collagen Face Mask, also calm skin to diminish redness and firm skin, blurring the appearance of pores.

And it’s not just about the skin on your face! Engelman says that dewy skin on the body helps hold on to scent longer, so if you’re planning to wear fragrance, a well-moisturized neck and decollete as well as limbs are key! Dr. Engelman suggests slathering on body oil “right after the shower.” If your arms and legs are flaky, up the ante on the moisture and try a richer body butter like Melach33’s.

Most importantly, perhaps, for Valentine’s Day, don’t forget to treat your lips! The skin on our pouts is thinner than on other areas of the body and needs some extra TLC, especially during the cold, dry winter months. “I love lip scrubs to soften the lips and they’re very easy to make at home by combining olive oil and brown sugar,” Dr. Engelman suggests. Not a kitchen beautician? Try Mary Kay’s exfoliating and moisturizing duo for lips!

Ricki Lake. Courtesy

Ricki Lake loves her natural hair — but it’s been a journey. After experiencing years of hair loss from styling trauma and dramatic weight fluctuations, the actress famously shaved her head. But now she’s found a solution and her strands are thicker, healthier and more lustrous than ever — and she’s sharing her secret with Us!

The Hairspray star, 52, has been using danish brand Harklinikken for ten months after shaving her head, and it’s made a huge difference in her locks — and her self-esteem. “It has given me my life back,” Lake tells Us. “And I know those are big words, but honestly, anyone that’s suffered with this knows what I’m talking about. It takes over your life. Every time you walk past a mirror, every time you run a brush through your hair, anytime your boyfriend wants to grab your hair and pull it, every time you’re in the shower, it consumed me.”

Lake’s 30-year struggle with her hair ironically started when she was 18. “For Hairspray, it was all my own hair and I love it but that set the stage for the quality of my hair being damaged. It was worth it, because that was the part that made me famous and put me on the map, but it definitely did take its toll,” she says. Next up was Winterbourne, for which Lake lost 30 pounds quickly, and with that came hair shedding. “I had noticeable, oh my God, clumps of hair in the shower. It was traumatic.”

Courtesy

She sought help from a trichologist, but after two pregnancies and more roles that required crash dieting, like when she did X Factor and Celebrity X Factor, the hair loss escalated. And wearing extensions didn’t help. “By this time, I was wearing this hairpiece thing and it just kept pulling on my hair. It was super fragile. It was really in bad shape and I just needed to be set free.” So she took matters into her own hands. “I have the video to prove it of me taking the buzzer and just saying F it,” Lake admits.

A couple months after shaving her head, the mom of two found the Danish hair care solutions brand Harklinikken “sort of by accident.” The founder, Lars Skioth, knew Lake’s story and prescribed a customized regimen of natural, nutrient-rich formulas that target roots encouraging healthy growth. The star found her “pot of gold,” she tells Us. “I literally have a full head of hair. It was sparse when I shaved it and so everyone can see and go back to my pictures. And it’s just, it’s night and day. And I can’t explain how it works because it’s so easy. I use the shampoo, I use the conditioner, and I use the extract at night. That’s it. And the extract is just like putting water on my scalp. The texture is just like water, no scent to it. And it’s just been a game changer for me.”

And now, the actress loves her hair! “It’s hilarious because every morning I’ll look at my boyfriend and I’ll be like, “I love my hair today.” Because when I sleep on it, and I’m like, “It’s so good.” And he’s like, “Oh my God, it looks amazing.” So we have a running joke. Just showering is really a thrill for me now because I hated showering all the time. It was like a phobia almost. Of course I showered but I hated the process. And now having my guy wash my hair in the shower, maybe that’s too much information, but that’s amazing. I never thought I’d be in that place.”

While we love sipping hot cocoa by a crackling fire, we strongly dislike that along with cozy vibes, the chilly weather also ushers in cold and flu season. Fear not! We spoke with a top doctor and wellness expert to get tips that will take the guesswork out of how you can stay healthy during these months.

First, some good news. Because of the measures we’ve been taking to minimize the spread of Covid-19, doctors are seeing less instances of general illness. “Flu cases, in particular, are much lower than they have been in recent years at this point in the season, in part due to our efforts around social distancing, mask wearing, frequent hand washing and avoiding large gatherings,” says Dr. Holly Phillips, Board Certified General Internist. The moral of the story? Keep wearing a mask whenever you’re in public. Finding one that’s both comfortable and cute can help motivate you to avoid leaving home without one. Check out the medical grade disposable face masks in chic patterns like tie-dye and floral print by Barriere.

Of course, hand hygiene is key. “Soap and water is best, but hand sanitizer is a handy alternative when soap and water isn’t available,” Dr. Phillips advises. When you’re on the go, try a hand sanitizer that’s made from at least 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol. (A great option: Life To Go’s Hand Sanitizer with Aloe Vera.)

And apply it generously! With hand sanitizer, “it should be enough to cover your palms, fingers and the bottom of your wrists,” cautions Dr. Phillips. Her quick tip for best results: “I recommend focusing on the tips of fingers in particular, as they’re very likely to come into contact with germs — think credit card keypads, elevator buttons, doorknobs, etc.”

Shutterstock

When using lots of hand sanitizer, “don’t forget to follow up with a good, toxin-free hand moisturizer,” says wellness expert Naomi Whittel. A great formula to try: Necessaire’s Hand Cream.

But maintaining good health isn’t just on the surface. “Getting enough nutrients is critical to maintaining a healthy immune system,” says Dr. Phillips. Give your diet a healthy boost with zinc, which can be found in chickpeas, yogurt and oysters, antioxidant Vitamin E found in nuts and green veggies like spinach and kale, Vitamin B6, plentiful in tuna, chicken and beans, and of course, Vitamin C, which Dr. Phillips says is a “critical immune system nutrient that needs to be replenished daily because the body doesn’t store it.” It’s found in citrus fruits, cantaloupe, strawberries and broccoli.

Another way to boost your nutrient intake is through supplements. Powdered vitamin mixes are a great option because they are mixed with water, which helps boost overall hydration. “Dehydration can put extra stress on the immune system, so staying hydrated also helps you stay healthy,” Dr. Phillips explains. A current favorite is Life To Go’s Immunity + Vitamin Drink Mix, containing zinc, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, a whopping 1,000 mg of Vitamin C plus 100 mg of elderberry. The gluten-free, vegan blend comes in the yummiest pink lemonade flavor!

For an immune-supportive diet, Whittel recommends including bone broth, collagen protein, MCT oil and fermented foods like sauerkraut or kimchee often.

Now just in case you’ve taken every measure to prevent getting sick but you happen to catch a cold, you can hide the effects in seconds! Conceal redness around the nose and mouth and your eyes with a concealer stick. Jones Road Beauty just launched The Face Pencil in 25 shades and the creamy formula glides on, blends seamlessly and stays put!

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

She said yes! When NBA star Kevin Love proposed to his supermodel girlfriend Kate Bock, he chose an intimate setting… and totally shocked her with a fabulous ring!

For the most important question Love, 32, would ever ask his Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model paramour, he chose an intimate setting. On January 30, a crisp Saturday night in New York City, the gorgeous couple were dining at their close friend’s restaurant, Lilia, in Brooklyn, when he got down on one knee.

“I was completely surprised!” Bock tells Us.

And the 33-year-old Canadian’s night only got better as she saw the ring. “It’s a vintage diamond cut from the 1930’s for Cartier and it’s set in a very chic vintage Cartier setting,” the beauty describes. “I was in total shock when I saw it. I just jumped up from my seat.”

Alexandra Martin

Turns out the Cleveland Cavalier’s skills go way beyond the court. “I wasn’t involved in the ring design at all. Kevin did it all himself. It’s gorgeous! I couldn’t love it more!” gushes the model, who is represented by The Society Management. Love worked with “a brilliant jeweler out of London and put together my perfect ring,” she says.

This part comes as no surprise as beyond his sportsmanship, five time All Star Love is also known to be a bit of a design aficionado. The waterfront Tribeca apartment he shares with Bock and their vischla pup Vestry was recently featured in Architectural Digest, and it is beyond spectacular, featuring herringbone reclaimed oak floors, exposed beams and chic Ralph Lauren Home CF1 lounge chairs that are made of carbon fiber.

The gorgeous duo have been together since 2016 despite at times being based in different cities and with crazy travel schedules. “Luckily, it’s not very far. Cleveland is only like an hour-long flight from New York. So I go back and forth between here and there and jobs, and then sometimes meet him on the road if it makes sense, so I see him pretty often even though we live in different cities and both travel for work. We make it work, so that’s kind of fun,” the blonde beauty told Sports Illustrated.

Bock landed the 2020 cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue alongside cover models Jasmine Sanders and Olivia Culpo, making history as the first time the magazine printed solo covers featuring each model as well as with the picture of the three posing together. The iconic magazine characterized it as: Three powerful women. Four incredible covers. One groundbreaking issue.

Lip service! Dior’s wildly popular Rouge Dior Couture lipstick relaunches this month and Natalie Portman fronts the gorgeous campaign shot by iconic fashion photographer duo Inez & Vinoodh in Paris, of course.

The lipstick formula has long been a favorite of celebrities for the red carpet. Cynthia Erivo wore shade #219 Rose Montaigne for the 2020 Emmy Awards, Nina Dobrev hit the carpet for the 2019 amfAR Cannes Gala in the bold, red shade #999. Tessa Thompson chose the perfect nude hue, #434 Promenade, when she sat front row at a Dior Haute Couture Show and Awkwafina rocked #844, a rich hot orange, for the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards.

But now, the French fashion house has masterminded a new formula loaded with natural ingredients including red peony extract to boost moisture and pomegranate blossom essence to help blur fine lines. And for the first time ever, all 75 shades of the updated lipstick is available in environmentally-friendly refills. Buy the chic case accented by the classic CD belt ring for $38, and when you finish the bullet, minis of every shade are available for $30.

In addition to a wider shade range, the hues, which range from nudes to pinks, purples and, of course, reds, come in four textures including a velvety matte, satin, metallic and shimmer. There’s also a brand-new clear lip balm that’s been added to the line.

So let’s discuss the beyond-fabulous images that amplify the elevated-naturals relaunch! Who better to front the campaign than Natalie Portman, 39, a longtime Dior spokesmodel and a vegetarian since age 9? The actress stuns in a series of photos that evoke the magic and splendor of Paris, posing in front of the Eiffel Tower and in and around the unique architecture of the City of Lights. Even the wardrobe on the shoot had significance when it came to representing the new lipstick formula — all of the accessories were crafted from vegan leather!
