Slaying it solo. Blake Shelton showed off his gritty side at the 2021 Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday, November 10.

The crooner, 45, performed his single “Come Back as a Country Boy” during the ceremony. He wore an all-black ensemble and played his guitar with a stormy backdrop behind him. His wife, Gwen Stefani, did not appear to be in attendance at the Nashville, Tennessee, event.

Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert opened the awards show with a medley of her greatest hits. The pair began dating in 2006 and got engaged in May 2010. They tied the knot in May 2011 but announced their split in July 2015.

The country music stars frequently attend the same events since they work in the same industry, but they usually manage to avoid interacting with each other. For instance, an eyewitness told Us Weekly in November 2019 that “everyone stood up for Blake at the end of his performance” during the 2019 CMA Awards except the Pistol Annies member, 38, and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin. Shelton and Gwen Stefani, however, “were nodding their heads” during Lambert’s turn on stage, per the onlooker.

The former Voice costars married in July after nearly six years of dating. The “Bluebird” songstress and McLoughlin, 30, meanwhile, secretly exchanged vows in January 2019.

Shelton revealed in June 2018 that he and Stefani, 52, bonded over their respective divorces early in their relationship. (She was previously married to Gavin Rossdale — with whom she shares sons Kingston, 15, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 7 — from 2002 to 2016.)

“When I was going through my divorce and just, you know, hit rock bottom just like anybody does when they go through something that devastating, it’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the same exact moment in time,” he said on Sunday Today With Willie Geist.

Lambert, for her part, reflected on her divorce from Shelton during a January 2020 concert in Tennessee’s capital. “I feel like Nashville is somewhere where you can go if you need to be a dreamer and not be judged about it. I spent a lot of time here on highs and lows. … I went through a really hard time in my life,” she told the audience. “I moved here in 2015 in the middle of a s–t show, but I was lifted up by people who were like, ‘We got you, girl.’ My friends and my songwriters and my fans and everybody here.”

The Grammy winner shared a rare memory from her marriage to the “God’s Country” crooner in March. “My ex-husband, Blake, had lost a brother and it’s one of those moments where even if you’re married to someone, sometimes you find something new about them,” she explained during an episode of “Essentials Radio” on Apple Music. “Dudes don’t open up about things, but he started telling me about the experience of it all.”

Lambert offered to cowrite her 2011 song “Over You” with Shelton to help him work through his grief. She noted, “It was really a special moment and I’m so glad we shared that song and that it helped his family heal, to have that together.”

The Texas native was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year at the 2021 CMAs.

Carrie Underwood, for her part, arrived with husband Mike Fisher after he made headlines earlier this month for defending Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay Packers quarterback, 37, faced backlash when he tested positive for coronavirus and revealed that he is not vaccinated.

“I stand with @aaronrodgers12,” Fisher, 41, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 6. “I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience. I agree with him in that the science clearly shows the vaccinated spread covid at basically the same rate as the unvaccinated. The @nhl @nfl and other leagues are ignoring the science and choosing to coerce and punish unvaccinated players with these restrictions. If they really cared about people’s health they would have daily testing for all. But these past 2 years has clearly shown us that this is not about our health, it’s about control over our lives. I won’t stand for that.”

The retired hockey player continued: “It’s time to fight for our medical freedom and I feel for those that have been fired for choosing medical freedom. People losing their jobs over a medical choice is un-American and unacceptable. We need to stand up now before it’s too late!! #medicalfreedom #istandwithaaronrodgers.”

Underwood, who has been married to Fisher since July 2010 and shares sons Isaiah, 6, and Jacob, 2, with him, has yet to react to his post publicly, but “liked” the image.

Miranda Lambert, meanwhile, attended the awards show with husband Brendan McLoughlin. Earlier on Wednesday, he gushed about the singer in a social media tribute for her 38th birthday.

“This world became such a better place with you in it,” the former police officer, 30, captioned photos of the Grammy winner via Instagram. “You are a light for those in the dark, a voice for the ones who can’t be heard and most important of all, you’re the most amazing wife day in and day out. I hope today brings you as much joy as you bring to me daily. Happiest of birthdays @mirandalambert I love you.”

Lambert expressed her appreciation for the post in the comments section. “I love you my sweet husband!” she replied. “Thanks for making [me] breakfast this morning! Love me some bday bacon.”

The American Idol judge, 45, made the quip in his monologue during the Wednesday, November 10, awards show. “Whatever makes you country, you are welcome here tonight. Rest assured, we’re following all the health protocols to keep everyone safe, and it is so great to be here with all my fellow artists — tested and together,” he told the audience. “Or immunized? Who is it? Just playing.”

The camera then panned to Underwood, 38, who did not laugh and instead cut her eyes to the side.

The awkward moment came after the “Before He Cheats” singer’s husband, Mike Fisher, defended Rodgers, 37, via Instagram on Saturday, November 6.

“I stand with @aaronrodgers12,” the retired hockey player, 41, wrote. “I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience. Rodgers, for his part, faced criticism after news broke earlier this month that he tested positive for COVID-19. He alleged on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, November 5, that he “didn’t lie” about his vaccination status after saying earlier this year that he was “immunized,” claiming that he found an “immunization protocol” to adhere to instead of getting vaccinated.

The quarterback missed the Sunday, November 7, Green Bay Packers game due to his illness. He was also fined $14,650 for violating the league’s coronavirus protocols.

Michelle kicked off the week with a one-on-one date with Martin. She was apprehensive about him after sending Jamie home in the previous episode because she knew the two men were close friends. Martin defended Jamie by saying he was still “a hell of a man” despite misleading Michelle about whether the other men questioned her character. She emphasized that she needed a partner who would trust her decisions and noted that it did not feel good that Martin doubted her.

At dinner, Martin clarified his earlier statements, admitting that he was not great at expressing his emotions, but he was working on it. Michelle felt similarly about herself and appreciated that Martin challenged himself to open up more, so he received a rose.

Michelle hit another roadblock during the group date when the guys focused more on the slumber party activities than on her. She felt unseen because no one pulled her aside or paid her much attention, which was triggering since she felt the same way growing up. Michelle told some of the men at the afterparty about how hurt she was by their behavior. She wanted them to make small gestures and to feel like her efforts were being reciprocated. Olu, in particular, got emotional because he had seen his sisters go through the same thing. Michelle ultimately gave Olu the group date rose.

Rick landed the second one-on-one date, and Michelle was glad she chose him because he always made her feel special. They connected as he got vulnerable about his parents’ broken marriage and his father’s death. Rick then told Michelle that he was falling in love with her, and she offered him a rose.

During the cocktail party, Chris S. made an impromptu speech about some of the men thinking they had the season “in the bag.” He then told Michelle privately that Nayte said he knew his time for a one-on-one date was coming. Michelle was “disappointed” and told Nayte he should not think he had any kind of advantage. She also informed the group that she was still figuring out her feelings.

Nayte later confronted Chris, who said Michelle “probed” him until he singled out Nayte. Chris insisted that he only shared “facts” with Michelle, and Nayte called him a “dweeb.”

Michelle sent home Will, Chris G. and Romeo during the rose ceremony, while both Nayte and Chris S. received roses.

The Bachelorette airs on ABC Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

“I could see it coming. I don’t think Christine’s been genuinely — what I call genuinely happy — since day one,” Decker said during a Friday, November 5, appearance on the “Reality Life With Kate Casey” podcast. “It’s kind of impossible to have a marriage when you’ve got a division like that for women — five [wives], whatever it’s going to be, and a lot of children. That’s not a partnership. It’s not a real marriage. And so I’ve just felt bad for her and others from day one. As well, I was in [a plural marriage in the past]. So I had to support that way back when, but it still breaks my heart. I don’t think any women are genuinely happy in that.”

Decker, who is not in contact with Christine, 49, assumed that her niece’s problems with Kody, 52, stemmed from his relationships with his other wives, Meri Brown, Janelle Brown and Robyn Brown.

“I think that as soon as another wife comes into the family, the night the whole dynamics change, the marriage is never going to be the same or the relationship,” she explained. “As soon as my husband took a second wife, our marriage was never the same, and it was never going to be. So, I think things start falling apart pretty fast. And it just takes time and over the years for women [like] Christine to get stronger and find out this isn’t what she wants and she doesn’t have to do it. And, ‘I’m going to get out of here.’ And yes, Robyn coming into the family definitely threw another wrench in there and heartaches and depression. No one wants to have their husband having sex with another woman and having children with them and on and on.”

Decker suggested that Christine likely stuck around because she “believed” she had to. However, the cracks in the system became apparent.

“The feelings that Christine and the other women are finally starting to show after all this time — and it started a while back,” she noted. “I was grateful that some of the truth was coming out in the show about the hardships of polygamy, but for the longest time, they were glamorizing it, and it just wasn’t real.”

Decker hopes that Christine will now abandon the entire framework of polygamy and “find genuine happiness.”

Christine announced her split from Kody on Tuesday, November 2. “After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she wrote via Instagram. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family. At this time, we ask for your grace and kindness as we navigate through this stage within our family.”

A source told Us Weekly earlier this week that the breakup was “no shock” as Christine had “been in the process of leaving him for a while.”

“The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completely devoted to Robyn for the past five or six years,” the insider added. “That hasn’t changed at all.”

“People always tell me they thought I would be shy and more quiet and, ‘You’re just, like, a sweet little girl from Alabama,’ and I am loud, I’m outgoing, I’m passionate, I’m competitive,” the 25-year-old star exclusively told Us Weekly during a recent “Bachelor Confessions” episode. “I feel like a lot of people would say they didn’t get to see that side of me as much, which is totally fine. But other than that, I honestly feel like everyone got to really see my heart and really got to see what I’m about, and I’m very grateful for that.”

Prewett noted that the producers on the show did allow her to let her individuality shine, such as when she wore sneakers during rose ceremonies.

“There’s no pressure. You get to do whatever you want to do, you get to wear whatever you want to wear,” she revealed. “I wore sneakers the very first night and I’m very glad that I made that move because it was a long night. I’m glad that I chose the sneaker route. All the girls were jealous. They were like, ‘Dang it. We should have done that. We should have made that call.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I was smart in this moment.’”

The season 24 alum and her costars had a fashion snafu in Costa Rica when their luggage got lost, though. “We were just in our same clothes for, like, two days,” she divulged. “It was funny because when [Bachelor] Peter [Weber] showed up and we were doing some filming, we all smelled so bad. We were not cute. I mean, we got some things together and thankfully people went to the store and we got some soaps — we were taken care of, for sure. But we didn’t have our clothes and our own makeup and things like that because our luggage got lost. So it was a wild two days in the middle of the rainforest.”

The Made for This Moment author left season 24 early, but Weber, 30, tried to reconnect with her after he broke off his engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss. Prewett and the pilot ultimately decided not to pursue a relationship in March 2020 after the finale aired.

Although Prewett did not find love, she is satisfied with how her journey turned out. “I can honestly say throughout that entire Bachelor experience, I was 100 percent myself,” she told Us. “When the competitive moments came out, they came out. When my very bold moments and courageous moments and me vocalizing things came out, they came out. In the moments where I bit my tongue and I held back, I was just fully myself, really just being led by peace, but also just staying true to who I am throughout that entire experience, so I don’t have any regrets.”

Candace Cameron Bure, for her part, met her soulmate when she was young, marrying Valeri Bure in June 1996 when she was 20. She has since opened up about the keys to their lasting relationship.

“We’re apart a lot,” the actress exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2018. “Because I travel a lot, that’s the secret! Because, you know, being away from each other makes the heart grow fonder.”

Candace also noted that respect goes a long way in a marriage. “You really try to, I always say, put your spouse on a pedestal,” she added. “And in return, you’re hoping, which my husband does, we have the same respect for one another … and some days neither of us deserve it, but we do it because we honor one another and respect each other. You hang in there, you’re always going to come back on the upswing if you’re in a low spot.”

While the Full House alum once thought distance was important to keep the romance alive, she changed her mind during the quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

“When you’re all in a house together for [over a year], you have to start talking about the things you kind of avoid because of work and travel and all that stuff,” she told Us in April 2021. “We just pushed through some of the things that were eating away at both of us.”

Although the process was not easy, it yielded positive results. “There’s hurt feelings for a minute. And then there’s pouting for a minute and there’s anger for a minute. And then you kind of go, well, ‘How are we going to figure it out? And what decisions are we going to make? How do we come to a compromise in a way that you feel good?’” the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries star continued. “So, that’s just what we did. And that’s what marriage is really all about, but it was kind of thrown in your face during quarantine.”

While Candace seems to be on solid footing in her real-life relationship, she is looking to make a change in her Hallmark Channel romances by not waiting until the end of her movies to kiss her costars.

“I just feel like we’ve done so many where we wait till the end,” she explained to Us in August 2021. “I just think that we got to sneak one in and then maybe that’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, maybe it didn’t work!’ But no, it really does work by the end of it!”

The Spider-Man actor, 43, and the Tesla CEO, 50, were subpoenaed on October 26, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly. They were ordered to “produce the books, record, electronically stored information and tangible things designated and described” — including “verbal conversations, telephone calls, letters, emails, memoranda [and] reports” — by January 17, 2022.

The documents request that any communications between the men and Heard, 35, relating to allegations of physical injuries or harm sustained by her as a result of alleged conduct by Depp, 58, and allegations of physical abuse or domestic violence committed by either party be turned over.

Musk is scheduled to be deposed on January 24, 2022, while Franco is scheduled to be deposed on January 26, 2022. Their testimonies will be in connection to the $50 million libel suit Depp filed against Heard in 2019 after she wrote a Washington Post op-ed about domestic violence. Although she did not mention the Pirates of the Caribbean star in the piece, he believes that her accusations caused him to suffer financial losses.

Heard and Depp were married from 2015 to 2017. After filing for divorce, she dated Musk on and off from 2016 to 2018.

The Edward Scissorhands star allegedly accused the Aquaman actress of having an affair with Franco, although she denied her ex-husband’s claims. She and the Disaster Artist actor both appeared in 2008’s Pineapple Express and 2015’s The Adderall Diaries.

Depp lost his court case against The Sun in November 2020 after the British newspaper referred to him as a “wife beater” in a 2018 article. A judge from the Royal Courts of Justice in London ruled that the piece containing the allegation was “substantially true” and said that there was sufficient evidence that he physically assaulted Heard at least 12 of the 14 times that she claimed he did. The Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald actor was denied permission to appeal the verdict in March.

The Sweeney Todd star has vehemently denied Heard’s claims that he was abusive toward her. “To harm someone you love? As a kind of bully? No, it didn’t, it couldn’t even sound like me,” he told GQ magazine in his November 2018 cover story.

“Ultimately, the truth will come out in all of this and I will be standing on the right side of the roaring rapids. I hope other people will be too,” he said, adding: “I will never stop fighting. I’ll never stop. They’d have to f–king shoot me.”

Amid the lengthy legal battle, Heard welcomed her first child, daughter Oonagh, via surrogate in April.

The reality show premiered on TLC in February 2012, documenting the journeys of obese patients as they attempt to lose weight. Bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (a.k.a. Dr. Now) oversees the process, which often involves developing new eating patterns and having a gastric bypass procedure.

“It just happened,” Nowzaradan told Houstonia magazine in October 2017 of how the series came to be. “I was operating on a lot of 600-pound people.”

The surgeon hoped that the show would be helpful not only to his patients but also to viewers and his colleagues. “We continue to try to provide education for everyone. That’s the reason I started the television series, [which] was to make an impression on the medical community that they should take care of these patients,” he explained at the 2016 ObesityHelp National Conference. “Another reason important to me was to have a show that provided inspiration for people and for the medical community with my hope to change [biased] opinions about morbidly obese people.”

Nowzaradan is known for his tough love approach, but he understands that his patients’ issues are complicated. “Their situation is not their choice. It is due to a metabolic and genetic predisposition for them, and they don’t have any choice,” he noted. “This is a disease that is beyond the high-risk patients’ control. … It isn’t due to a lack of discipline, it isn’t due to eating themselves to death.”

The doctor has his patients’ best interests at heart, even if he delivers news for which they are not prepared. “People come looking for a single solution to their problem, and sometimes the answer is not what they want to hear,” he told Houstonia. “They think surgery is the solution for everything. And it’s not going to change people’s behavior toward food.”

Nowzaradan feels a responsibility to assist where he can. “Looking at the moral obligation that we’ve got, you see somebody who has no life who could have a life,” he shared.

The reality star works overtime to care for as many people as possible, seeing 60 to 80 patients per day. Whether their appointments are filmed or not, he gives everyone the same treatment, insisting, “I never let the camera change my behavior toward any patient. I do exactly the same thing if the camera is there or not.”

The season 13 Bachelorette, 36, explained during the Wednesday, November 3, episode of the “Tell Me With Ellen Pompeo” podcast why she thought it was the right time to speak out. “I almost feel like I have a little PTSD — maybe a lot of PTSD — from the whole incident, and I needed just to take a beat and take some space away from everything and then find the right place to feel like I can have an honest conversation and be myself,” she noted.

Lindsay did not hold back when it came to her current relationship with Harrison, 50. She faced backlash in February after she interviewed the Texas native about Rachael Kirkconnell for Extra. His comments in defense of the Bachelor season 25 contestant, 25, amid allegations of past racially insensitive actions led him to take a temporary break from his hosting duties before leaving permanently in June.

The former attorney, for her part, was harassed online by viewers who felt Harrison’s departure was her fault. She ultimately cut ties with the franchise as a result.

The transition came after years of a strained relationship with the show. Lindsay was a fan favorite during Nick Viall’s season 21 of The Bachelor in 2017 and she became the Bachelorette later that year, but she felt the pressure behind the scenes.

“There were certain things that I was asked, sure, like when it comes to makeup and hair, and I appreciated those things,” she told Ellen Pompeo on Wednesday. “But when it came to telling my story or from my experience as being a Black woman, those things weren’t received in the same way. Like, I remember when I had a breakdown. It just hit me randomly in a moment where I was struggling with my emotions, and I’m looking around the room and no one looks like me and everybody’s a white male except for one female producer, and I’m like, ‘You have no idea what I’m going through. You don’t understand what you’re asking me to do. You don’t understand how you’re telling me, ‘Oh, you can’t go in there and confront them,’’ ‘cause they were telling me that because I would’ve looked like an angry Black woman.”

The disconnect between Lindsay, the people behind the franchise and the viewers seemed insurmountable. “There were just so many things that weren’t receptive to, I guess, what I wanted [and] how I wanted to portray myself, because an audience couldn’t necessarily receive things in that way,” she added.

The actress, 45, was cast as the titular character on the NBC sitcom Punky Brewster when she was just 7 years old. She starred on the series from 1984 to 1988 and reprised her role for the 2021 revival, which aired on Peacock for one season.

After the original Punky Brewster wrapped, Frye directed her first film, 1998’s Wild Horses, landed a gig on Sabrina the Teenage Witch from 2000 to 2003 and ventured into voice work.

The California native also became a mother. She shares daughters Poet, 16, and Jagger, 13, and sons Lyric, 7, and Story, 5, with Jason Goldberg, whom she split from in 2020 after 22 years of marriage.

Frye opened up in June 2019 about the importance of self-care amid her hectic schedule. “So often we forget about just taking time for ourselves,” she exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “So that has been kind of a big thing for me this year, having that one-on-one time where I can go have dinner with a friend and catch up, or a hike, things like that. Little things for [myself].”

She added: “It’s all about that self-love. I think as we get older, it’s sometimes hard to remember to take that time because it’s all about the kids, picking them up, and dropping them off, making sure that they do their homework, making sure they’re fed.”

Frye connected with fellow moms too by being real about her difficult days on social media. “It just made me feel not so alone,” she told Us in March 2018. “I was struggling with opening the stroller. I thought I was going to know how to do all those things. I wasn’t prepared for that. And it was great to discover, through social media, that I was not alone, and there were other messy parents. There were other parents that were failing and having the same experiences, and I wasn’t on this journey solo.”

The former child star eventually figured out how to cut herself some slack. “It’s so easy to feel like the weight of the world is on you and it’s so easy to feel judged by others,” she said. “Each circumstance is so different and every baby is so different, every personality. Just don’t be too hard on yourself.”

“I think that even after the separation in 1992, they still carried on doing engagements. I don’t think Diana ever really wanted to truly give up,” royal expert Emma Cooper exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 2. “Actually, it was the queen in the end [that] said, ‘You’re separated. You need to get divorced.’ And I think she never, ever — did she really want to do that? Look, I don’t know. It feels to me from the evidence of all the testimony that we had in her own words, that it was hard for her.”

Cooper explored Diana’s life in the spotlight while working as an executive producer on the six-part CNN original docuseries Diana. She learned some fascinating details about the late princess’ relationship with Charles, 72, while researching her.

“On the day Diana’s divorce papers came through, she sat there on her own in Kensington Palace, and she told [royal correspondent Jennie Bond] that the one thing she wanted to do was just pick up the phone and speak to Charles and I just thought, ‘Wow,’” Cooper told Us. “Then she said, ‘Oh, but I couldn’t because I know he’d just think I was silly again.’ And I thought, ‘That’s somebody who is not walking out of a marriage without feeling emotion.’ And actually, on that day, she was also wearing her wedding ring. She was photographed with her wedding ring on. So, I don’t think she ran out of that marriage.”

Diana and Charles tied the knot with the world watching, and they soon welcomed sons Prince William and Prince Harry in June 1982 and September 1984, respectively. However, their marriage broke down, and they separated in 1992 and finalized their divorce in August 1996.

The Prince of Wales’ rekindled relationship with ex Camilla Parker-Bowles — whom he went on to wed in April 2005 — during his marriage to Diana had major consequences.

“[Diana] knew all of this detail about Charles and Camilla, and she was constantly told by the people around [her] that she was crazy, that she was obsessed,” Cooper said. “It’s sort of language that has been used around women for centuries, which is, ‘You’re hysterical, you’re seeing things, you’re obsessed. There’s nothing in this, let it go.’ Well, she was right. … She was aware of everything, and yet she was constantly told that what she was seeing, she was not really seeing.”

The documentarian pointed out that despite the obstacles in Diana’s romantic relationship with Charles, the two found a way to coparent. “It’s clear that he’s a good father, and it’s clear that they parented very well,” she noted. “You can tell from their sons now — they’re marvelous, balanced men in spite of all the trauma that they’ve been through, so it would appear to us. … Charles and Diana had no problems bringing up their children together, whether they were together or apart, and you can see in the sort of deep love that their sons have for both of them.”

Cooper “always wanted the opportunity to make a docuseries about” Diana, who died in August 1997 at age 36 following a car accident.

“I really did feel that she’s the blueprint for a modern woman because she was not allowed to do many things that we are now allowed to do. She wasn’t allowed to be vulnerable. She wasn’t allowed to show her emotion in public,” she told Us. “I kind of thought this was absolutely fascinating that she was frequently chastised for showing her complexity as a woman when that’s just being a woman. And we are now as women kind of just about allowed to show off vulnerability. … It was an amazing opportunity, over the hours of a docuseries, to be able to look at her and look at her story and listen to her words from a very modern female perspective.”

The Dutton family dealt with an attack on all fronts in the season 3 closer. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) was shot on the side of the road, his daughter Beth’s (Kelly Reilly) office was bombed and his son Kayce (Luke Grimes) took fire in his own office as gunmen ambushed him.

Wes Bentley, who plays John’s adopted son, Jamie, on the Paramount Network drama, considered the shocking finale a reset.

“When I read the script, I was like, ‘Oh?!’ With [cocreator] Taylor [Sheridan], we’ll be on a path down one way and he’ll cut the branches on the side so we’re going to tumble down with him,” the actor told Entertainment Weekly in August 2020. “I think big, big, dramatic things happen, violent things happen, and in a lot of ways it defines the show because that’s who gets the ultimate say. It comes down to that [brutality]. Outside of aliens landing, I don’t know where Taylor is going to go from here. He gave himself the ability to go from any angle now.”

Despite the major shifts ahead, Bentley noted that Sheridan’s moves leading into season 4 were coordinated. “To restart or refresh, he definitely has left himself an open door for a lot of options. I think that’s clever,” he continued. “He has a plan, so I think he was ahead of it. As an audience, it feels like the board got wiped and we can write some new things on that board.”

The season 3 cliffhanger caused a slew of fan theories to emerge, including some that pointed the finger at the Hunger Games star. “I love fan fiction and fans guessing,” he said. “I don’t go online, but I get told these things literally on the phone with my mom. I love that, and you know, fans get involved and have theories and we’re going to have a lot of fun with it. It’s going to be a blast to hear about what fans think as a community.”

Costner, meanwhile, has played coy about his future on the series in the year since the finale aired, but fans can expect to jump back into the action in the season 4 premiere.

“Where we pick up is right where we left off,” Bentley hinted in a September 2021 YouTube video. “The action of the scene is real time. My heart was pumping just reading it.”

It seems nothing is off the table in season 4 either. “It’s high stakes, high energy. It’s fast, it’s dangerous. It’s wild,” the American Beauty actor exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2021. “It’s very dangerous for Jamie and everyone else.”

McConaughey, 51, made the phrase “all right, all right, all right” famous when he starred as David Wooderson in the 1993 film Dazed and Confused. Since then, the Oscar winner has used the fan favorite line during acceptance speeches at major awards shows and in interviews here and there.

The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star explained the origin of the remark in a 2011 interview with George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight. He was not even supposed to work the night he filmed the iconic scene, but director Richard Linklater put him in at the last minute, forcing McConaughey to ad-lib.

“I’m nervous. First scene ever on film,” he recalled during the sit-down. “Right before we’re about to shoot, I’ve got friends in the car. I’m going, ‘All right.’ I’ve been listening to this live Doors album, and in between two of the songs, [Jim] Morrison goes, ‘All right, all right, all right, all right.’”

McConaughey used the recording as motivation for his character’s development. “So right before we’re about to go, I’m like, ‘What is Wooderson about? What’s he about?’ And I go, ‘Man, he’s about four things. He’s about his car, he’s about getting high, he’s about rock ‘n’ roll and picking up chicks,’” he detailed. “I go, ‘I’m in my car, I’m high as a kite, I’m listening to rock ‘n’ roll.’ ‘Action.’ ‘And there’s the chick. All right, all right, all right.’ Three out of four.”

The Serenity star admitted in a 2018 interview with Men’s Journal that the line never gets old. “Look, ‘all right, all right, all right’ has become a national sort of moniker,” he said at the time. “People say it all the time, and they want me to say it. I’ve got no trouble giving it back to them. For me, it’s original and genuine because they’re the first three words I ever said in a job that I got, that hell, I didn’t know if it was gonna be a hobby. It could have been my only gig. It ended up being a career.”

Defending their marriage. Cynthia Bailey and her husband, Mike Hill, addressed rumors that he was unfaithful to her.

The talk show host, 51, told TMZ on Tuesday, November 2, that the allegation that he sent a nude photo of himself to another woman is “not true.”

Bailey, 54, called the ordeal “very annoying,” as Hill agreed with her. “We’re great,” she added. “Rumors are rumors.”

The sportscaster claimed that he would “absolutely” take legal action against his accuser if the allegations continue. “We’ll take care of it the way it’s supposed to be taken care of.”

As for the identity of the person who called his fidelity into question, Hill said he has “no idea who it is,” but he hopes they “get help.”

An anonymous Twitter user claimed earlier this week that Hill sent a nude photo of himself via Snapchat, screenshotting his alleged username and profile as well as what appeared to be him typing a message. The person later shared a side-by-side comparison of the nude pic and a screenshot from the New York native’s Instagram Story that showed him wearing what appeared to be the same clothing and sitting in a similar chair. The accuser has since deleted the allegations and their account.

Bailey confirmed her relationship with Hill in August 2018. The couple got engaged in July 2019 and tied the knot in October 2020.

Prior to the wedding, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum confessed that she and her then-fiancé had trouble staying connected amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Quarantine in a house with all your kids, can you imagine trying to have sex with your man?” she exclusively told Us Weekly during an August 2020 episode of the “Getting Real With the Housewives” podcast. “You know how horrible that is to have, like, quiet, secret sex all the time? It’s like [the kids] know it’s happening, but you can’t, like, be loud. It sucks. It really sucks.”

A year later, Bailey announced that she was leaving RHOA. “Thank you to my Real Housewives of Atlanta castmates for eleven of the most unbelievable years of my life; and the most incredible & UNFORGETTABLE memories!” she wrote via Instagram in September. “I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures. She concluded: “It’s time to move on to my next chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you. See you guys soon!”

The reality star was married to Peter Thomas from 2010 to 2017. She shares daughter Noelle, 21, with ex Leon Robinson, while Hill has daughters Kayla and Ashleé from two previous marriages.

Michelle was still hurt after Jamie told her his fellow contestants called her character into question because of rumors about her pre-show relationships with Joe and a mystery man. However, her suitors were still in the dark about who brought up the topic to her.

The Bachelorette tried to move forward, going on a Top Gun-themed group date. Will impressed her after powering through the tough circumstances, so he won a bomber jacket and one-on-one time with Michelle. Peter was jealous because he thought Will stole his move of speaking to Michelle in another language, so after arguing with him at the afterparty, Peter stole his jacket and threw it in the pool. Will cried but decided not to tell Michelle because he didn’t want to ruin her night. Martin ultimately got the group date rose after pulling aside Michelle to check on her after the previous week’s drama.

Michelle then went on a one-on-one date with Rodney. She wanted to see if they could escape the friend zone, so they played truth or dare and had an honest discussion about race during dinner. She noted that in her last relationship, she didn’t like having to explain why being called the N-word upset her, and Rodney could relate. Michelle gave Rodney a rose because she felt like she could trust him and she appreciated his vulnerability.

During her second group date, Michelle asked the guys to write a poem from personal experience, and she also shared her own piece about what it was like to be the “token Black girl” growing up. Jamie was overconfident about his connection with Michelle, but after Brandon — who told the cameras he was falling in love with Michelle — received the rose, Jamie spoke privately with a producer about having to compete with men who were not on his level. He also said he wasn’t judging Michelle, but he could make fun of her for being on “spring break mode.”

At the cocktail party, Rick told Michelle that no one in the house ever questioned her character, leading her to inform him that Jamie was the one who claimed the other guys did not trust her. Nayte confronted Jamie about his discussion with Michelle, but Jamie only earned more criticism for saying he wasn’t directly involved in any of the talks about the rumors and suggesting that he was trying to protect Michelle from viewers’ speculations.

Michelle asked why the vibe was weird in the room when she returned, so Jamie explained that they were talking about the rumors. He told Michelle — in front of everyone — that he never said a specific person called her into question but the open speculation in the house could have led to people doubting her character in the future. Michelle blamed Jamie for turning the situation into a bigger deal than it was.

Michelle saw Jamie’s behavior as a “red flag.” She took him outside to talk alone and told him that the trust between them was broken because of the drama he created. She wanted to be done with their relationship, so she sent him home on the spot. Michelle told the remaining men that she would not stand for anyone manipulating or lying to her.

She canceled the rest of the cocktail party and moved immediately into the rose ceremony, eliminating Peter, Mollique, Spencer and LT.

The Bachelorette airs on ABC Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.

Bravo launched an investigation after Real Housewives of New York City star Eboni K. Williams accused costar Ramona Singer of making a racially insensitive remark, a source tells Us Weekly.

“Eboni filed a complaint over an alleged racial comment Ramona made [toward] Eboni weeks before the [season 13] reunion was supposed to take place,” the insider says. “It was filed internally through human resources.”

The source adds that a crew member from the Bravo reality show previously filed a complaint against Singer, 64, in December 2020. “An investigation was conducted for both complaints,” the insider tells Us. “For the first one filed by the crew member, the findings were corroborated. [For] the second one filed by Eboni, the findings were not corroborated.”

Williams, 38, was not pleased with the outcome but respected the process. “Eboni was dissatisfied with the results and felt it was unfortunate, but there’s nothing she can do further,” the source shares. “She was, however, satisfied with the thorough investigation since she’s been placed in that position through her law work in the past and knows what goes into investigating alleged claims.”

Meanwhile, a source close to Singer claims that Williams’ allegations “were found to be untrue.”

The season 13 reunion never taped as a result of the investigation. The network announced in September that filming for the special would not take place.

“Due to scheduling challenges around taping the reunion of The Real Housewives of New York City in a timely manner, Bravo confirmed there will not be a reunion for this season,” a Bravo spokesperson said in a statement to Us at the time. “It’s disappointing to not be able to bring the cast back together, but we are happy to have ended on such a high note with the finale and are now shifting our focus to next season.”

The season 13 cast included Williams, Singer, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Leah McSweeney. As for where they stand heading into season 14, the insider tells Us, “The cast is still on standby for the next season. At this rate, they’re not expecting to hear what’s going on in terms of filming until early next year.”

Singer divulged in April that she and Williams — who became a Housewife during season 13 — hit it off. “She has a very strong personality. There’s a lot of similarities between us. We both are self-made, we both put ourselves through college. We both speak our mind,” she told Us at the time. “I meshed with her immediately. She and I were both surprised how well we just clicked together.”

The Life on the Ramona Coaster author noted that the attorney could be “a little tough” but insisted she could take it. Singer also said that adding diversity to the show was necessary, explaining, “New York is a melting pot. I think it was the perfect time to bring her in.”

Williams recognized their commonalities too, but that did not stop her from confronting Singer when she referred to some of her employees as “the help.”

“Ramona is very good at evading,” the television host told Us in May. “She’s a professional runner, and she really tried to shut that conversation down. But what she saw when I kind of forced her hand … is it was not in the spirit or intention of canceling her, or making her look or even feel bad. It really was from this place of, ‘I want to express how I’m feeling and give you an opportunity to consider that moving forward,’ and she did. … Even at this stage in her life, she’s so successful and has so much notoriety and money, [but] she’s actually not beyond self-improvement.”

Not amused. Jillian Anderson became the butt of the joke when she competed on season 19 of The Bachelor with Chris Soules, but behind the scenes, she struggled to cope with intense scrutiny.

The reality star, 32, reflected on her stint on the show, which aired in 2015, during the Thursday, October 28, episode of the “She’s All Bach” podcast. She memorably had a black box over her bottom throughout the season, and she recalled a producer informing her of the “funny” gag before the second episode aired.

“He was like, ‘Well, your butt’s a little big and sometimes things got a little cheeky, so we had to blur it out. Disney made us,’ which I don’t believe,” she claimed. “‘Instead of doing a little blur, we did a giant black bar, really over-exaggerated it,’ and I was just mortified. At that point, you are experiencing a level of humiliation that you thought you could be prepared for, but you really aren’t. I could tell you, I don’t think any contestant understands before going on how bad it’s actually going to be.”

Anderson wanted to address the situation, but due to her contract, producers told her she could not. She remembered “crying” over the stunt and her father being upset about it, but former cast members, including Clare Crawley and Michelle Money, spoke out on her behalf.

“At some point shortly after, I was able to laugh about it when things started changing, but at that point, I was completely humiliated,” the TV personality explained. “I was so new into it that I was so overwhelmed by the posts and the talk and Jimmy Kimmel and The Soup and everyone making fun of me.”

Anderson alleged that there was nothing to even cover up on screen. “Cheeky bikinis weren’t even in yet, so they were full bottom. If you wear thongs now, that’s totally normal,” she noted. “My butt was nice, but it wasn’t a scandalous bikini by any means. It was a normal one.”

The Bachelor in Paradise alum later claimed that although she appeared to play “Would You Rather” with Soules, 39, during their one-on-one date, she was actually speaking to a producer about a joke she heard from Carly Waddell. The separate moments were allegedly spliced together in editing. “If you watch that date, there is never a [two-person] shot during that conversation,” she said.

Anderson further suggested that some of the women from her season — including fan favorites Ashley Iaconetti and Kaitlyn Bristowe — did what producers wanted to stay afloat in the environment.

“We talked about this the day we met in the mansion. [Ashley] said, ‘You jump when they say jump, and you just keep doing it.’ So she told me that, she goes, ‘Whatever the producers say, I’m just gonna do it,’” she claimed. “The same thing with Kaitlyn Bristowe — she knew, ‘I gotta play ball.’ But Kaitlyn is kind of like a ball of energy who just is doing out-of-the-box things without even them asking her to ‘cause that’s just who she is.”

Soules eliminated Anderson in week 4 and eventually proposed to Whitney Bischoff during the finale, but they split two months after the episode aired. He briefly dated Bachelor season 24 alum Victoria Fuller in 2020.

The farmer was arrested in April 2017 after allegedly rear-ending a tractor in Iowa, resulting in the death of 66-year-old Kenny Mosher. He pleaded guilty to a count related to the accident in November 2018 and agreed to serve a two-year suspended prison sentence.

Checking boxes. Erika Jayne got real about the qualities she is looking for in a man amid her divorce from estranged husband Tom Girardi.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 50, told TMZ on Wednesday, October 27, that intelligence is the top trait she wants in someone she is dating.

When asked how important her potential significant other’s finances are, Erika replied, “I think every girl likes a guy with money.”

The reality star added that appearance is “kind of on the lower scale” of things she is worried about when choosing her next partner. She is open to dating younger men, but “there’s a limit” — she will not date anyone less than 25 years old.

Despite mapping out her specifications, Erika insisted that she is single. “Not a soul. Myself,” she responded when pressed about who she is seeing. “I’m dating myself.”

The “XXPEN$IVE” singer filed for divorce from Tom, 82, in November 2020 after 20 years of marriage. The duo were accused of embezzling funds intended for the families of plane crash victims in a class action lawsuit the following month. She also allegedly received $25 million from Tom’s former law firm, Girardi Keese, although she has claimed that she did not know about his alleged wrongdoings and her lawyer has denied that she is liable for the money.

Erika previously opened up about getting back in the dating pool during part one of the RHOBH season 11 reunion earlier this month. She told host Andy Cohen that she was on the hunt for a man “with a big penis,” divulging, “I would like some hot sex.”

The TV personality also addressed the allegations surrounding Tom. “It does not look good. However, we still need to get to the bottom of it. Only one side of the story has been told,” she said. “I feel terrible. This is not who I am. And I hope this is not who he is. … And at this point, quite honestly, I have to worry about myself. Whatever Tom Girardi did or did not do, that’s on him.”

She continued: “His life is over. He’s in his 80s, he’s in a memory care facility, his career is over and done. I just turned 50. I cannot allow all of this to destroy me and take me to a place that I cannot recover. I have to survive this. So that’s why I’m feisty.”

Elsewhere in the reunion, Erika fired back at assumptions that she is not sympathetic to Tom’s alleged victims. “If anyone in these cases has been proven wrong, I want them remedied,” she said. “Despite what you read, I have done everything they have asked. … I have never said I was a victim. I am not a victim. I am simply surviving on this.”

C’est la vie! Lily Collins does not care what the haters say about her Emily in Paris character — she loves her all the same.

The actress, 32, stood up for the titular Emily Cooper in a Nylon interview published on Thursday, October 28. “A lot of the qualities that Emily has, if you put them on paper, would seem so annoying,” she confessed. “To have someone be optimistic, bright and bubbly — it’s sad to think that people would look and go, ‘That’s a lot.’ They’re such beautiful qualities, and the fact that she can partner that with being vulnerable and asking for help and making mistakes — she’s not infallible.”

Collins stars as a marketing executive from Chicago who moves to Paris for work. The show became an overnight success on Netflix when it premiered in October 2020, but it also received criticism for its unrealistic ideas about the life of a 20-something and its portrayals of French people and culture.

“I think that this is a heightened reality for Emily, to be moving to Paris, and what she experiences and what she sees,” the Love, Rosie star explained to the outlet. “It’s just that when you put them all together in a TV show that also aesthetically looks the way it does, it’s a little less believable.”

Collins also addressed comparisons between Emily and Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) since Darren Star is the creator of both series. “She’s in no way mimicking Carrie’s life,” she insisted, adding that her character could have been a fan of the stylish New Yorker. “Emily probably grew up having Carrie Bradshaw posters on her wall.”

The Mirror Mirror actress previously addressed the negativity surrounding the show in her November 2020 Vogue Arabia cover story. “As disheartening as it sometimes is to read these things, it’s also a gift,” she said. “You’re being allowed to improve.”

Collins, who is also a producer on the series, applauded Star, 60, and his team at the time, noting that they “championed my opinions and opened me up to an experience that was so rewarding and empowering.”

The Mank actress made headlines in October 2020 when she guessed Emily’s age. “I don’t believe we’ve ever given her a specific ‘number’ for her age, but I believe that she’s pretty fresh out of college. Maybe this is her first year after graduation,” she told British Vogue. “I want to say she’s, like, 22-ish. She’s had enough experience at her company in Chicago to have earned the respect of her boss. … She’s gone to school for this, and she’s completed internships.”

After fans called her estimation into question, Collins quickly admitted to getting Emily’s age “wrong” via her Instagram Story. “Sorry girl,” she quipped. “You might not be 22, but I gotta say – you do act like it sometimes!!!”
